TOPIC: DO YOU KNOW JESUS?

MEMORY VERSE:
Philippians 3:10 All I want is to know Christ and to experience the power of his resurrection, to share in his sufferings and become like him in his death,

BIBLE TEXT:
1 John 2:3 If we obey God's commands, then we are sure that we know him.
1 John 2:4 Those who say that they know him, but do not obey his commands, are liars and there is no truth in them.
1 John 2:5 All those who obey his word are people whose love for God has really been made perfect. This is how we can be sure that we are in union with God:
1 John 2:6 those who say that they remain in union with God should live just as Jesus Christ did.

MESSAGE:
How can you claim you know Jesus when you don’t obey His commandments? Who are those who can truly say they know Him, those who love and obey His instructions, and by obeying His commands, this is how we are sure that we truly know and love Him. As a child of God, we are expected to live just as Christ lived when He was on earth, He lived a life of humility, love, and peace, He received instructions from the Father, He didn’t do things on His own, so as Children of God, we ought to walk as He walked, that is why He showed us an example to follow.

My beloved, if you are still indulging yourself in sin like telling lies, stealing, fornication, adultery, cheating, abortions, smoking and womanizing etc, you don’t know Him yet, that’s why our memory verse for today says all I want is to know Him and the power of His resurrection and also to share in His suffering and become like Him in death. If you are yet to surrender your all to Him please do so now, tomorrow might be too late.

REFLECTION:
Do you truly know Him?

TOPIC: WAIT ON THE LORD

MEMORY VERSE:
Psalms 27:14 Wait and hope for and expect the Lord; be brave and of good courage and let your heart be stout and enduring. Yes, wait for and hope for and expect the Lord.

BIBLE TEXT:
Isaiah 40:28 Have you not known? Have you not heard? The everlasting God, the Lord, the Creator of the ends of the earth, does not faint or grow weary; there is no searching of His understanding.
Isaiah 40:29 He gives power to the faint and weary, and to him who has no might He increases strength [causing it to multiply and making it to abound]. [II Cor. 12:9.]
Isaiah 40:30 Even youths shall faint and be weary, and [selected] young men shall feebly stumble and fall exhausted;
Isaiah 40:31 But those who wait for the Lord [who expect, look for, and hope in Him] shall change and renew their strength and power; they shall lift their wings and mount up [close to God] as eagles [mount up to the sun]; they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint or become tired. MESSAGE:
The waiting process is not an easy one, but when you wait on the Lord, there’s always a victory at the end. The reason why so many Christians get into trouble is because they are tired of waiting and they are looking for another alternative aside from God. Our memory verse for today says wait and hope for, and also expect the Lord, it also says that let our hearts be enduring, our memory verse is also telling us and encouraging us not to get tired in waiting on the Lord, no matter how things seems to look like.

Child of God, Our God does not get weary, He doesn’t get tired and there is no searching of His understanding. Isaiah 40: 31 also reminded us that those who wait on the Lord, those who expect the Lord, those who put their hope and trust in the Lord shall change and renew their strength and power, they shall lift their wings and mount up close to God as eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint or become tired. It is only those who wait and put their trust in the Lord on that particular thing that rejoices at the end of their waiting. It might be you are waiting on God for a child, job, husband, finance or even to know Him more, when you wait and enjoy your season of waiting, you will get your result.

KEY POINT:
Do not get tired on waiting on the Lord, there is always a victory ahead.

PRAYER POINT:
I pray for you today, may God Almighty renew your strength as you are waiting on Him in Jesus Name Amen.

TOPIC: AN OBEDIENT HEART.

MEMORY VERSE:

Deuteronomy 30:6 The Lord your God will give you and your descendants obedient hearts, so that you will love him with all your heart, and you will continue to live in that land.

MESSAGE:
For you to gain access to all the blessings God has promised you, you have to love and obey Him in everything. Just like our bible text for today, when we look deep into
Deuteronomy 30:9” The Lord will make you prosperous in all that you do; you will have many children and a lot of livestock, and your fields will produce abundant crops. He will be as glad to make you prosperous as he was to make your ancestors prosperous,

All these blessings will only follow you when you follow God with all your heart. Our bible text also said the commandments of God is not too difficult or beyond your reach, His commandments are in the Bible we are carrying today, when we obey them then our lives will be better and prosperous. It’s not all about knowing and quoting the Bible, but by being obedient and doing what the word of God says. So many Christians can quote the Bible from Genesis to revelation, but to do is far away from them, they don’t have an obedient heart and that’s why they keep struggling with life and nothing is working for them.

Child of God, when you obey the word of God, you are making your own way prosperous, turn to Jesus today and give Him the whole of your heart and obey Him in all you do, He died for you to be saved so that you can reign with Him in Heaven.

TOPIC: STOP RUNNING AWAY FROM DISCOURAGEMENT (PART 2)

MEMORY VERSE:

BIBLE IN ONE YEAR; DEUTERONOMY 29-30

MESSAGE:
Holy Spirit prompted me to write on this spirit of discouragement to remove some people and to save some people from the cage they have kept themselves for so many years. You might have been in this situation for long but listen to me, discouraging spirit is part of life like I said yesterday, but what matters there is the heart and your view towards it that generates something for you, either good or bad.

So many has been discouraged and went to sleep, so many has been discouraged and they quit what they are doing when they are almost there to achieve their goal, so many Christians allow this spirit to hinder their blessings from God, if you allow the spirit of discouragement from people and it makes you stop what you are doing for God, you are a failure, such person can’t grow and such person can’t have an impact in his/her generation to come, the moment you have it at the back of your head that discouragement must come my way, no matter what, I must press forward.

So many great people here on earth that we all know too have encountered such spirit on their way to greatness, some did not give attention to it, they focused on what is ahead, some gave attention to it and they fall and fail their course. My advice for the young ones and ministers everywhere is that, your goal and focus that is what you should face and concentrate on, discouragement can come from anyone, either your pastor or your prophets or your father or mother, it is the instructions God gave you on that project and assignment that’s what should be your guide and focus.

KEY POINT:
If you refuse to focus on God’s instruction on your way to greatness, discouragement will bring you down, if you are taking your project carnally.

PRAYER POINT:
Lord help me not to fail in my assignment with you, give me power and strength to keep going in Jesus Name Amen.

TOPIC: HEAVEN IS KEEPING RECORD OF YOUR WORKS HERE ON EARTH.

MEMORY VERSE:
1 Corinthians 3:13 The work of each [one] will become [plainly, openly] known (shown for what it is); for the day [of Christ] will disclose and declare it, because it will be revealed with fire, and the fire will test and critically appraise the character and worth of the work each person has done.

BIBLE TEXT:
1 Corinthians 9:24 Do you not know that in a race all the runners compete, but [only] one receives the prize? So run [your race] that you may lay hold [of the prize] and make it yours.

MESSAGE:
The Bible says everybody’s works will be tested with fire, and anyone’s work that survives the fire and didn’t get burnt will receive a reward, the one that gets burnt will not receive rewards. My brethren, it’s time and the time is now, we should start sitting down and look into our daily walk with him, it’s time we start asking ourselves some questions, if after all the struggle here on earth you still end up in hell what is your gain?

People are wearing expensive makeups and gold and chains, and you didn’t wear, people are robbing and killing and fornicating and you didn’t join them to do all those things, so many atrocities is ongoing and you refuse to be part of it, and at the end you could not reign with him, don’t we think that it’s a big problem? I want us to check our hearts and souls, are they right with God? Are we trying to do His Will or we are not even trying at all?

Theses are the things we should check, for no one knows when the rapture will take place, it’s one last sleep you and I will sleep that we will not wake up again. Listen to me, if Jesus tarries death will come, our prayers is that we should live long before death comes, yes long life has been given to us to win souls to heaven not to win souls to hell, is our life proclaiming Christ or devil? The end is near, the Bible says people will be lovers of themselves and all of this is happening already.

REFLECTION:
What record is written in heaven concerning you?

TOPIC: HOW DO YOU PRAY?

MEMORY VERSE:
Matthew 6:6 But when you pray, go to your room, close the door, and pray to your Father, who is unseen. And your Father, who sees what you do in private, will reward you.

BIBLE TEXT:
Matthew 6:5 “When you pray, do not be like the hypocrites! They love to stand up and pray in the houses of worship and on the street corners, so that everyone will see them. I assure you, they have already been paid in full.
Matthew 6:6 But when you pray, go to your room, close the door, and pray to your Father, who is unseen. And your Father, who sees what you do in private, will reward you.
Matthew 6:7 “When you pray, do not use a lot of meaningless words, as the pagans do, who think that their gods will hear them because their prayers are long.

MESSAGE:
Some Christians don’t know how to pray, when they are praying they shout as if Our Lord Jesus is far from them. Our Lord Jesus Christ taught us how to pray, He said when you want to pray, go into your room, lock the door and pray to your Father who is in secret, and your Father who sees what you do in secret will reward you openly.

When Jesus was on earth, I never read in the Bible that He was shouting while praying, I know we have prayer of authority, but that prayer of authority should be done once in a while. Prayer is a way of communicating with our Father in heaven. When you are talking with your boss in the office that is close to you, will you shout while discussing with him? I guess your answer is NO. Jesus is close to you, stop shouting while praying, you can’t get your answers by shouting, May God help us all to pray just as our Lord Jesus Christ taught us.

KEY POINT:
Prayer is a way of communicating with God, let us follow the teachings of our Lord and Master Jesus.

PRAYER POINT:

MESSAGE:
Some people have been serving in the wrong place for so many years without results, some have been serving in a wrong church for years without any impact. Can I speak to you today? If you have been in a church for so many years without any change in your life, then something is wrong somewhere, it’s either you are not serving well or you are serving in a wrong place. So many people in the house of God today are looking up to God for one thing or the other, either breakthrough, children, husband and so on.
If you are truly serving God with all of your heart in a particular church, you can’t see any result in your life because you are in the wrong gathering, that’s why our bible text for today says come out from among them and be separate, and touch not the unclean thing, and I will receive. The first step you need to take is to leave them, and ask God what is required of you to do next.

I remembered when I was as in a particular church for years, always praying, always fasting, always cleaning the church, also making sure there are no lapses in the house of God, but I never knew I was serving in a wrong place, I was only seeing little of His light and blessings compared to what is ahead of me, even when God told me to come out from them, I was so scared to do so, so I took courage and I came out from them, that was when I saw the light clearly, and everything I ever prayed for that was delayed when I was serving in the wrong church started coming quickly without delay.
My beloved, God is waiting for you to leave that gathering so you can see His light clearly and receive the full package of His blessings He has promised you, until you leave them, nothing will happen in your life.

REFLECTION:
Until you leave them, nothing will happen in your life.

PRAYER POINT:
I pray for you today, May the Lord Almighty separate you from every wrong gathering hindering His full blessings in your life in Jesus Name Amen.

TOPIC: BE CLOTHED WITH HUMILITY.

MEMORY VERSE:
Ephesians 4:2 Be always humble, gentle, and patient. Show your love by being tolerant with one another.

BIBLE TEXT:
1 Peter 5:5 In the same way you younger people must submit to your elders. And all of you must put on the apron of humility, to serve one another; for the scripture says, “God resists the proud, but shows favour to the humble.”
1 Peter 5:6 Humble yourselves, then, under God's mighty hand, so that he will lift you up in his own good time.

BIBLE IN ONE YEAR; DEUTERONOMY 19-20, ACTS 19-20

MESSAGE:
The word humility is for everyone, if you are following Christ you must be humble. Our Lord Jesus Christ humbled Himself even to the cross, even when He was being despised and rejected, He remained humbled. Humility is not for the poor only, we have so many proud leaders everywhere, when one of the sheep God gave to them goes astray, they can’t look for that sheep because of pride, they will say it is the sheep that is to look for them and not the shepherd looking for the sheep.

Pride has also taken over the church, and this ought not to be so. Our bible text for today says; humble yourself before the mighty hands of God, so that He will lift you up in His own good time.
My beloved, pride will never take you anywhere, instead it will bring you down, God resist the proud and only gives grace to the humble. As a pastor, prophet, teacher, preacher, evangelist or whatever title you have, humble yourself before God and the sheep’s He has placed in your care, because on the last day you’ll give an account on how you treated the people God put in your care.

KEY POINT:
Do not always think in your heart that you are better than anyone, humble yourself and God will lift you.

PRAYER POINT:
Lord Jesus, please give me the heart of humility wherever I find myself in Jesus Name Amen.

TOPIC: THE TEN LEPERS

MEMORY VERSE:
Luke 17:19 And Jesus said to him, “Get up and go; your faith has made you well.”

BIBLE TEXT:
Luke 17:11 As Jesus made his way to Jerusalem, he went along the border between Samaria and Galilee.
Luke 17:12 He was going into a village when he was met by ten men suffering from a dreaded skin disease. They stood at a distance
Luke 17:13 and shouted, “Jesus! Master! Take pity on us!”
Luke 17:14 Jesus saw them and said to them, “Go and let the priests examine you.”On the way they were made clean.
Luke 17:15 When one of them saw that he was healed, he came back, praising God in a loud voice.
Luke 17:16 He threw himself to the ground at Jesus' feet and thanked him. The man was a Samaritan.
Luke 17:17 Jesus said, “There were ten men who were healed; where are the other nine?

MESSAGE:
Why will Jesus cleanse ten lepers, and it is only one that came back to say thank you to Him, why didn’t the other nine come back to say thank you for the healing, because they don’t know how to say thank you Jesus. Our Lord Jesus Christ taught us on how to be grateful with the example of the lepers He gave to us, the one who came back to say thank you Jesus was the one who received complete healing after appreciating Jesus, which means anytime we thank God for the one He did for us, we receive more from Him, are you grateful for what God is doing in your life?

Some people complain and murmur too much especially the so called Christians that their faith should even bring unbelievers to Christ. Do you not know that a heart that is grateful and joyful all the time, that heart attracts people, especially those who don’t believe in Jesus Christ and they are in the church, they will want to know how it is working for you, they also want to know the secret of your joy and happiness everyday.

It is not everything you must be told to do, maybe the nine lepers were expecting Jesus to tell them to come back and say thank you, you shouldn’t be told or forced to thank your God who has protected you and kept you alive, you should always be thankful to God, do not be like the nine lepers who were ungrateful to God, be grateful.

ACTION POINT:
Just say thank you Jesus for everything He has done for you.

PRAYER POINT:
Thank you Jesus for your love and care in my life, thank you for everything you’ve done for me in Jesus Name Amen.

TOPIC: FEAR

MEMORY VERSE:

2 Timothy 1:7; For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.

Romans 8:15; For ye have not received the spirit of bo***ge again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father.

MESSAGE:
Many are being tormented by the spirit of fear that’s why their lives is caged. If you are thinking that people you grew among for many years especially your family members, and you tag them witches and wizards just because of fear, then your mindset is wrong. what am I trying to say, fear can make someone to be negative about the other person, people you should love, because of fear of what you heard about them, you run away from them and start to hate them for no reason.

There are so many people God has sent to us, because of fear we are hating them for no reason, so many pastors and ministers do tribalism just because of fear of what they have heard about one particular tribe, some will even be selecting the tribe they will talk to and the ones they will not talk to. Fear has brought so many unwanted friends close to some people while running away from the right people that should surround them.

Fear will make you hate the right people and love the wrong ones, they will disguise as holy people but they are evil, that’s why we were ask not to have the spirit of fear, anyone with this spirit can’t please God, such people are also an enemy of God, God said he has given us the spirit of boldness, but some choose fear. My brethren fear is a destroyer of destiny, there is no good thing you can get from fear.

TOPIC: HEART PROBLEMS.

MESSAGE:
So many Christians are dying very quick and easy, because devil is easily carrying out his work in their lives without stress, because he makes use of the heart of man, once the heart is filled up it becomes a problem for the carrier. What some people are carrying in their heart alone is enough to send them to their early grave, the heart is where the problem is, so many Christians are hurt, than for them to let go they keep it in their heart.

People despitefully use you, you kept it in your heart, your neighbor always talks about you negatively you put it inside your heart, you were walking on the road someone match your legs and you register the person in your heart, you have been praying God has not answered you, and you hold God in your heart too. When you keep on holding people in your heart it means you are dying gradually, and there’s nothing you can do about it unless you free your heart from all those garbage.

If you want to live long on earth, don’t carry people in your heart. I always tell people that, anyone that offends you is not your enemy, you can only be your own enemy the moment you start looking at the way people are behaving to you, or what they did or what they are doing to you. If your focus is on human being then theirs nothing you can achieve here on earth, the only records you will be gathering are negative things and also the wrongs people do to you. I have come to tell you to let go and clear yourself of that garbage so that devil will not make mess of you.

Carrying things in the heart has caused a lot of sickness in the lives of so many Christians today, free your heart so that your peace can return.
