There was an argument about this some years ago on this app and while trying to educate someone, they called me a Facebook lawyer 😂. I am not a lawyer but a photographer (with partial retirement ). If you want to do anything with your photos or you don’t want the photographer posting your picture on his page, pay him for the copyright and take all your raw edits

Here is a tip on how to maintain details on your Images (using frequency separation)
1. Shoot on RAW; shooting on raw gives you a higher control over your image, it's very useful in retouching cause it gives overall control in your production
2. Clone stamp tool; most retoucher use tools that could remove the details on the skin making some part look less detailed and unprofessional, use smaller clone stamp size that allows you to focus on a particular area (you can zoom more to focus on a particular area)
3. Gaussian blur ; this helps to smoothen the image and it can also smoothen out some important details on an image
It's advisable to use a higher Gaussian blur radius to maintain details on an image
4. Sharpening; it helps to enhance the clarity of an image, after the process of frequency separation, it also helps to restore some details that may have been lost in frequency separation
This also gives overall posting quality
As most social media platforms reduces the quality of your image to fit in to their policy
5. Crop image (4:5); crop your image to fit in most social media platforms so you won't end up cutting most t of the image and loosing details.
