As I turn 40 today, I’m also stopping to reflect on and celebrate 19 years as a BroadcastJournalist. It’s been 19 years of a mixed bag of good bad and the very interesting, I’d never have it any other way. It’s the best job in the whole world, telling stories, curating conversations and putting out factual information, asking the right questions and keeping politicians and leaders on their toes. I would have never gotten here without some amazing people who have supported me, held my hand through the rough paths and even tutored me on what to do, how to do it and they have continued to have my back.

Thanks to my Mum, Dad and Brother who have been my No.1 fans forever and to Reginald Bassey my sounding board, to my first boss , my super boss, always on hand to correct or point me in the right direction, my MD for life for being not just a great boss but family, to all my amazing colleagues and friends, this star would not be shinning without you all.
