Dearly beloved the word of wisdom for this weekend says

MAN WHO IS BORN OF A WOMAN IS OF FEW DAYS AND FULL OF TROUBLE.

JOB 14 VS 1.

Brethren the above bible passage gives us an insight into how life tends to treat us.

Whether we believe it or not, everyone of us must go through one life challenges or the other. Nobody is immune to life challenges.

Even as a Christian the Bible did not tell us that as soon as you become a born again child of GOD you will be free from life's problems and challenges.

It was Jesus that said In this world you will have trouble. John 16 Vs 33 (NIV).

Meaning that Christians are not immune to having troubles.

So as Christians, we shouldn't see trouble as a sign that GOD has abandoned us.

The Psalmist also gave us his own findings as touching this matter.

He said many are the afflictions of the righteous. Psalm 34 Vs 19.

It means that afflictions can come to the righteous it is very possible as stated by the Psalmist.

So having known this as a fact, how are we supposed to live our life?

(1) Despite life troubles we should always remember that Jesus has given us his peace.

So when situations of trouble arises, let's call upon the peace of Jesus to swallow up the trouble. John 14 Vs 27.

(2) The Psalmist discovered that GOD is able to deliver those who trust in him.

When life troubles and problems arises, it is a call to trust GOD with all your heart.

It is a call not to lean on your own understanding and it is a call to acknowledge him in all your ways. Psalm 125 Vs 1 & Proverbs 3 Vs 5 & 6.

(3) When troubles and problems come, it is a call to guard your heart with all diligence.

Proverbs 4 Vs 23 NLT bible version says Guard your heart above all, for it determines the course of your life.

Brethren my singular prayer for everyone of us is that every of life's challenges, problems and troubles facing us at this time will not swallow us in Jesus mighty name Amen.

DON'T BE DISMAYED GOD IS WITH YOU AS A MIGHTY TERRIBLE ONE.

Dearly beloved the word of wisdom for this weekend says HE THAT IS WITHOUT SIN, CAST THE FIRST STONE. JOHN 8 VS 1-11.

Brethren in the above passage we can see how the people gathered to put a woman who committed the sin of adultery to death.

The crowd that gathered against this woman didn't want to hear her own side of the story.

Probably every time she attempted to explain what happened they shut her up and called her all sorts of evil names.

They had already concluded to put her to death by stoning her to death.

The Bible said they set her in the midst of the people so that everyone can get a clear view of who she is.

The embarrassment was so heavy.

People kept spreading the news throughout the whole town like wildfire.

When the matter was brought to Jesus, the entire people who had gathered to crucify this woman were all amazed at Jesus's position on the matter.

One would have thought that Jesus would have condemned the woman immediately.

One would have thought that Jesus would have given the penalty of death but he being meek and merciful turned to the people and said IF YOU ARE WITHOUT SIN CAST THE FIRST STONE.

It was on the strength of this words that the people realised that they themselves had even committed worst things or even similar.

The entire crowd left the scene knowing fully well that they themselves are without sin.

Brethren this word of wisdom for this weekend is not an attempt to encourage sin, iniquity or transgression but to paint a picture of how we should treat a fellow brethren who has been overtaken by a fault.

Jesus was more of restoring this woman making her understand that despite her wrong doings she can be given a fresh start, a new life and a new beginning.

Brethren the bedrock of our Christian faith remains our ability to forgive the unforgivable, love the unlovable and accept the unacceptable.

When I say the unforgivable, I mean those that have offended us to a point that we have concluded that we can't forgive.

When I say the unlovable, I mean those who as a result of their mistakes and error against us we have turned our back against them vowing never to receive such people into our bossom.

When I say the unacceptable, I mean those who like the prodigal son had messed up and embarrassed the whole family but upon his return was still accepted back.

Brethren how long are we going to keep casting the first stone at our fellow brethren?

How long are we going to keep stoning our fellow brethren with our words, character and behaviour all in the name of he or she offended me.

The question is where is the place of love? Where is the place of forgiveness?

Where is the place of accurate Christian living as demonstrated by Jesus in the above bible passage?

I don't know the area where I have in time past casted the first stone at my fellow brethren I ask that GOD through his son JESUS CHRIST forgives me and shows me his mercy.

I also pray the same for you my dear readers in anyway you have in time past knowingly or unknowingly cast the first stone against your fellow brethren may GOD through his son JESUS CHRIST forgive and show you his mercy.

Brethren it is indeed a time for sober reflection.

A time to look around us and find out where we have casted the Frist stone at our fellow brethren and make amends.

When we take love, forgiveness and mercy out of Christianity, brethrens will keep casting the first stones at one another.

Don't cast that first stone take the position of Jesus.

Dearly beloved the word of wisdom for this weekend says

FOR FLESH AND BLOOD HATH NOT REVEALED IT BUT MY FATHER IN HEAVEN. MATTHEW 16 VS 17.

Brethren one of the greatest weapon GOD has given us as Christians is the gift of revelational knowledge.

That is the gift that gives you an insight, understanding and information into the secret of a matter which initially wasn't known to you.

Brethren in this bible passage we see JESUS CHRIST drawing our attention to two possibilities.

Possibility 1 The flesh and blood revelation.

Possibility 2 The Father in heaven revelation.

Brethren The flesh and blood revelation is a type of revelation anchored on the wisdom and traditions of men.

This type of revelation only reveals what eyes can see, what the ear can hear and what the mouth has said. It is completely based on the calculations and permutations of men.

Many times when we are faced with a lot of challenging situations we often tend to center our strategy on what we can physically see around us and the human wisdom of people around us.

Brethren the danger of this type of revelation is that it keeps you within the realm of the natural where impossibilities are not believed to be possible.

This is why the Bible teaches that the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.

1st Corinthians 2 Vs 14.

It is highly dangerous to anchor your destiny on this type of revelational knowledge.

Whenever you are faced with life challenges, don't go looking for flesh and blood revelations it will only increase your confusion and frustration.

The key note of this word of wisdom is to open our understanding on what JESUS meant when he said MY FATHER IN HEAVEN REVEALED IT UNTO YOU.

Brethren the world is indeed full of mysteries that is circumstances and situations that are beyond human wisdom and comprehension.

So JESUS knew we will come to a point where destiny and life situations will throw challenges at us just like he asked his disciples who he was?

Brethren just like it took the revelational knowledge of the father in heaven to reveal who JESUS was so also it will take the same revelational knowledge of the father in heaven for us to be able to navigate life hurdles and provide solutions to challenging situations around our life.

Brethren one thing the revelational knowledge of the father in heaven does is that it settles every argument, confusion, misconceptions and misunderstanding because when the father speaks, he speaks with so much clarity, direction and understanding.

Brethren your destiny is too precious don't anchor it on flesh and blood revelation but on the father in heaven revelation.

Dearly beloved the word of wisdom for this weekend says

AM A MAN UNDER AUTHORITY. MATTHEW 8 VS 9.

Brethren in the above scripture we can see the centurion soldier explaining to JESUS CHRIST the power of being under authority.

Brethren the centurions explanation reveals that anyone who wants to fulfill purpose and destiny must set around his or her life systems and structures that ensure that his or her life is under watchful eyes of men and women who have through faith & patience inherited the promises.

Brethren being under authority brings a form of sanity and discipline to your everyday life activity.

You can't just take any step without proper counsel and admonition from the men and women whom GOD have placed as authorities over your life.

Timothy was always under the watchful eyes of Apostle Paul.

Elisha was also under the watchful eyes of Prophet Elijah.

Isaac was under the watchful eyes of his father Abraham.

Ruth was under the watchful eyes of her mother-in-law Naomi.

Esther was under the watchful eyes of her uncle mordecai. Peter and the other disciples were under the watchful eyes of Jesus.

Brethren checking through the life of these men and women whose life were under authority, you will see significant fulfillment of purpose and destiny.

Brethren every junction of life requires that our life be under watchful eyes of men and women who have through faith and patience obtained the promises of GOD.

My singular counsel for everyone reading this word of wisdom is that don't ever despise faithful men and women whom GOD have set watch over your life because it is through their watchful eyes that you will navigate lifes hurdles and avoid life threatening mistakes.

My singular prayer for us is that were you ought to pray may you not be busy tendering money and were you ought to tender money may you not be busy rendering prayers.

Dearly beloved the word of wisdom for this weekend says OPEN MY EYES OH LORD. PSALM 119 VS 18.

As a bible student, bible passages like this always gets me curious as to what the character in the passage is communicating.

In this bible passage we see the psalmist asking GOD to open his eyes.
Straight away the questions that comes to mind would be was the psalmist blind? What kind of blindness was the psalmist suffering from? Why was he making this kind of prayer?

In the passage of the scripture we can confidently conclude that the psalmist wasn't physically blind because his challenge wasn't that he couldn't see the writings in GOD'S word.

His challenge was that he couldn't understand the deep truth and power hidden in GOD'S word.
Probably the psalmist had read about the wonder working power of GOD how he brought out the Israelites from the house of bo***ge with an outstretched arm and on eagles wings.

All this and many powerful things have the psalmist read and heard about GOD but unfortunately for him his life was not a reflection of all the wonderful and powerful things he heard about serving GOD.

So this drove him into serious prayers of asking GOD to open his eyes. What eyes? His eyes of understanding.

This was what happened to the Ethiopian eu**ch in Acts 8 Vs 26-40.

The Ethiopian eu**ch was a victim of not being able to grasp the truth and power that is embedded in GOD'S word.

It took the teaching ministry of Philip for the Ethiopian eu**ch to understand the truth and power of GOD'S word.

So the psalmist was a victim of always going to church but remained non transformed.

There was no tangible manifestations of GOD'S word in his life.

Meaning that a person can actually be going to church day in day out without any tangible manifestations of GOD'S power of transformation in his or her life.

Reason being that the person is what I call bible proof.

The person hears GOD'S word but remains unchanged, unresponsive and unyielded to GOD'S word.

This was the state of the psalmist until he took an intentional decision to pray GOD'S word into his spirit.

Brethren many of us in church today are Bible proof.

We remain unchanged, unresponsive and unyielding to GOD'S word.

GOD wants us to take the posture of the psalmist and prayerfully align ourselves with his word.

Brethren this is a clarion call for us all to behold ourselves in the glass of GOD'S word so that we can be yielded men and women to the government and precepts of GOD.

Dearly beloved the word of wisdom for this weekend says WATER OUT OF THE ROCK. EXODUS 17 VS 5-6.

Brethren we are indeed in tough and hard times. A season characterised by hunger, scarcity, famine, poverty, lack, frustration, and disappointment.

Due to these situation many homes, families and individuals are beginning to question if GOD still anwers prayers and if truly he does answer prayers, why has he allowed so much hardship upon us?

Brethren this was the same question and complain the people of Israel made when they encountered a difficult situation in the wilderness.

They questioned GOD day and night wondering if GOD still answers prayers.

They went as far as questioning the priesthood of moses.

This continued for a while until GOD decided to remind them that his still the ALPHA & OMEGA.

Brethren it took GOD nothing and the pain, frustration and crys of the people of Israel was solved in seconds.

Brethren we are at that time again just like the people of Israel.

We are pained, frustration is setting in, doubt and uncertainty clouds our mind.

The harsh economic situation is bitting hard on everyone and we are asking where are thou oh GOD wouldn't you come to our rescue?

Brethren I bring you a message of hope and a message of glad tidings.

It is indeed a rocky situation considering what is happening at the moment in the country and the world at large but GOD is saying keep hitting at the situation as you go out to do your daily business.

Your business or income might not be enough at this time but GOD is saying nonetheless keep at it don't stop because the more you keep at it, the closer you are to getting a breakthrough.

Brethren GOD is saying that this rocky situation contains water keep hitting at it your own water will gush out and your dry season shall come to an end.

Don't despise what GOD has put in your hands as your staff of bread because it's about to break the rocky situation so that water can come.

IT WILL HAPPEN NOT MANY DAYS FROM NOW KEEP HITTING DON'T STOP.

Dearly beloved the word of wisdom for this weekend says CAN THERE ANYTHING GOOD COME OUT OF NAZARETH? JOHN 1 VS 46.

Brethren according to this statement of Nathaniel, Nazareth was a place that people had written off.

Nazareth was a place that had no importance whatsoever.

Nazareth according to Nathaniel was a dry and unfruitful place.

Nazareth was a place were good things do not exist.

To say you are from Nazareth was shameful and disgusting because people do not recognise those from that area.

Nazareth was indeed in a terrible state of ruin.

People from Nazareth were seen as those that will never amount to anything in life.

Infact to say you are getting married to a man or a woman from Nazareth was a taboo and a sacrilege because people believed that they were under a serious curse and bo***ge.

So dearly beloved, Nazareth was such a terrible and shameful place to come from.

This was why Nathaniel reminded Philip of the terrible and shameful nature of Nazareth when Philip told him that JESUS CHRIST is from Nazareth.

Nathaniel never believed until he saw JESUS CHRIST demonstrating the power of the Holy Ghost.

Brethren just like Nathaniel, have people written you off?

Have people said you will never amount to anything good in life?

May be you are from a particular region and because of that, people have concluded that you are good for nothing because people from that region are always known to be so.

Have people decided to separate themselves from you because of your place of birth or origin?

May be when you tell people you are a native of this place or that place they look at you with disdain and make you look less human.

If this is your condition, I want you to know that Jesus Christ who is the saviour of the world, was a native of a very terrible place called Nazareth but his destiny was so mighty that the demons and wicked traditions of Nazareth couldn't tie him down.

Brethren just like Jesus Christ, you might be a native of a place that people despise and disapprove and because of it you feel less human and you are contemplating sucide.
I want you to know that despite the terrible nativity of Jesus Christ he still went ahead to become the KING OF KINGS AND THE LORD OF LORDS.

Brethren don't allow men kill you with their words, don't allow environment, society and culture condemn you to a life of solitude.
Brethren, don't allow how people describe you push you into contemplating sucide.

The Bible describes you as one who is fearfully and wonderfully made. The Bible describes you as GOD'S heritage. The Bible calls you GOD'S holy nation. The Bible calls you the seed of Abraham. The Bible says you are not cursed but blessed. The Bible calls you perculiar and a royal priesthood. The Bible calls you the apple of GOD'S eye.

Brethren always see your self in the light of GOD'S word not in the light of men's word.

I am persuaded strongly in my spirit that just like Jesus Christ, your life will be a mysterious wonder. Your life will surprise your friends and will dazzle your enemies. Your life will be a divine spectacle and divine phenomenon despite your Nativity in Jesus mighty name Amen.

The bulk of the prayers was channeled to Enugu state.

Brethren let's stand in the gap and lift up our eastern brothers especially Enugu state to GOD in prayers that every agenda of wickedness projected against this region shall not stand neither shall it come to pass in JESUS MIGHTY NAME AMEN.

Dearly beloved the word of wisdom for this weekend says

A BROTHER OFFENDED IS HARDER TO BE WON THAN A STRONG CITY. PROVERBS 18 Vs 19.

Brethren, the Bible is indeed lifes manual. It contains deep truth as deep as the depth of the ocean.

In the above Bible verse, the Bible reveals how difficult and almost impossible it is to recover a brother who feels offended.

When the Bible says brother, in this context it also refers to male and female not just male.

Brethren what the bible is trying to communicate to us as touching the above Bible passage is that feeling or being offended can turn a once wonderful relationship or friendship upside down making them enemies of eachother.

Brethren the Bible doesn't support offence but agrees that offence is very much possible meaning that the Bible agrees that we can get offended.

But yet again the Bible is saying as much as offence is possible don't stay offended.

Don't hold unto offence. Let go of offence as quickly as possible and avoid nursing it.

This is because when we nurse offence or hold unto offence, it becomes very difficult and almost impossible to reconcile.

Brethren the danger of this kind of situation is that it can degenerate into evil works such as envy, unforgiveness, bitterness, painful grudges and unresolvable quarreling.

This is why the Bible said in Ephesians 4 Vs 26 And “don’t sin by letting anger control you.” Don’t let the sun go down while you are still angry. (NLT).

Meaning when offended or when offence comes don't carry it over to the next day make sure you let go any offence before the breaking of a new day.

This is to avoid getting to the point were it becomes difficult or almost impossible to let go an offence.

Brethren GOD is saying it is time to let go of that offence.

He understands you were offended but he still wants you to let go.

As you do so, all that you have prayed for will surely be answered in JESUS MIGHTY NAME AMEN.

Dearly beloved the word of wisdom for this weekend says THE WOMAN ABIGAIL. 1ST SAMUEL 25 VS 1-40.

Brethren in this bible passage, we can see how Abigail demonstrated the virtue of a godly woman.

We can see how she was able to defend her house hold from being destroyed by david.

Unknown to her David and his men protected her husband's shepherds and flocks from being attacked and destroyed while in the wilderness and it was only fair that Nabal grants the request that David made as a way to appreciate him for protecting his property from enemies attack but Nabal being ungrateful refused acknowledging David's request instead he despised David and his men.

This singular act got David and his men angry and they decided to destroy Nabal and his property.

When Abigail got to know about what happened between her husband and David, she knew there was trouble and she took it upon herself to quench David's anger.

Brethren the story of Abigail teaches a lot of lessons below are just a few of them.

(1) A wise woman will always rise up to protect her home.

(2) A wise woman will never trivialise matters concerning her home.

(3) A wise woman sees her home as her number one priority.

(4) A wise woman is never afraid or selfish to take positive risks for her home.

(5) A wise woman knows she is meant to compliment her husband in areas of his weakness.

(6) A wise woman never supports her husband's wrong doings but rebukes him in love.

(7) A wise woman understands her place as an helpmate to her husband and she plays this role without reservation.

(8) A wise woman is an expert when it comes to home crisis management. She ensures that her home crisis is properly managed.

(9) A wise woman is an expert when it comes to peace and conflict resolution between her home and the outside world.

(10) A wise woman doesn't see anything wrong with using her resources when emergency and non emergency situations arises in the home.

To all women who have sacrificed so much for their home I say GOD bless you in JESUS MIGHTY NAME AMEN. and to those women who haven't come into this revelation may your eye of understanding be open in JESUS MIGHTY NAME AMEN.

I have this strong burden to strongly advise us as a family to be mindful of the information we share on social media.

Avoid posting any kind of sensitive information on social media avoid answering sensitive phone calls in a crowded place or in the bus because you don't know who is listening.

Avoid sharing sensitive information to friends because you don't know who is who.

Be very sensitive and vigilant. Make your movements very difficult for people to understand.

Don't be predictable, don't be too open, avoid talking too much and listen more.

Most importantly let's be as wise as the serpent and harmless as a dove. Matthew 10 Vs 16.

Dearly beloved, the word of wisdom for this weekend says LOVE COVERS ALL. 1ST PETER 4 VS 8.

Brethren as powerful as faith, grace and mercy is, GOD didn't choose any of them to midwife the coming of the Messiah (JESUS CHRIST).

The Bible recorded that it was on the strength of LOVE, that GOD was compelled to send his only begotten son JESUS CHRIST to come to this world and pay the ultimate price of death on the cross in exchange that humanity will be saved from the bo***ge of sin and satan.

Brethren LOVE is so powerful and deep. It's quite unfortunate when we say i love you but our actions speaks the opposite.

When GOD said he loves humanity, what he did to prove his love was to give his only begotten son as a ransom for the redemption of humanity.

Brethren we must know and understand that love goes beyond saying but also transcends into action.

Meaning that when you say I love, there must be positive intentional actions to back up your confession.

Just like in the story of the good Samaritan in Luke 10 Vs 25-37.

The good Samaritan backed up his confession of love with a positive intentional actions but the Levite and the priest only confessed love but didn't back it up with any positive intentional actions.

Brethren LOVE is indeed the greatest of all GOD has given humanity. LOVE is the womb that conceived and birthed salvation.

LOVE the Bible says covers multitude of sin.

Meaning that as long as we love one another, there is no offence too big for us to overlook, forgive and forget.

Brethren I know the world is full of hateful people, ungrateful people and insensitive people, but remember the world was filled with hateful, ungrateful and insensitive people when GOD showed us love and gave us his only begotten son for our redemption.

Brethren we are all guilty of not loving enough and on this wise GOD is saying go all out and LOVE FOR LOVE COVERS ALL.
