I spent my Sunday afternoon surrounded by my community, feeling grateful and happy to be among them.

Today marked the opening meeting of our Town's gathering, where I, along with fellow newly elected women's wing officers, had the opportunity to introduce ourselves to our husbands and the community.

The event took an exciting turn with the arrival of a distinguished visitor from the federal level - we were thrilled and honored! Following the opening speech, we officers took the stage to introduce ourselves and share our roles.

The celebration continued with a delightful spread of traditional Ofe Nsala, semo, and refreshing cold bottled water.

And, as a lovely surprise, we received a generous cash gift! After the festivities, the women's wing bid farewell, allowing the men to proceed with their meeting.
