Olè Olè Thief!! One man was shouting as he clung to another man.. in a split second, dozens of eyes darted in their direction.. another man picked up a tyre and had almost given the “thief” a dirty slap when he realized they were only making jokes!

I laughed and went back to my shoot.. Bros no dey joke like that for streets of Lagos oo!..suddenly the man that picked up the tyre showed up in my frame, appearing to return it back.

During the Nigerian Colonial Era,
the Oba Of Lagos persuaded the Governor Of Lagos to evacuate The Royal West African Frontier Force (RWAFF) who were then camped where KINGS COLLEGE Lagos is situated.

They moved to a virgin land sold by the Oba (king) to the British Colonial Government and named the land “IBI TI OBA LÉ WÀ DÉ” Yoruba for (where the king chased us to).. Since then, it’s been infamously knows as OBA-LEN-DE! 🌹📷🇳🇬
