If you're called into the ministry or you noticed that you're incited towards the things of God, please don't start a church first. Why?
The knowledge of God in relation to the knowledge of science and art is very paramount for every believer who wants to teach and grow God's people via the word of God.
The fact that you have a PhD in any other discipline does not make you a qualified teacher of God's word.
Theology is a discipline on it's own, and it is unlawful for anyone who has not been to a standard bible college/seminary or University for theology to teach Biblical Theology, Systematic Theology etc.
Don't assume you know anything about God yet, if you've not acquired a substantial knowledge of God's word.
Yes! I said that because there's more to theology than what we read and interpret from the bible.
If you've completed the reading of the Bible from cover to cover and it seems like you know and can interpret the bible very well, kudos to you๐ช.
However, I've got to tell you that you've only covered 20% of what you need to know. There's more ....
If you love yourself and the body of Christ, get yourself a standard bible college/institution, and kick start an intensive study of the "God" subject.
As my father would say, "Christian education may cost money but it's ignorance will cost life."
However, it may cost not only your live, but the lives of many believers that will be entrusted to you.
Be wise๐ฏ.
"Ire ooo", in other words "Shalom".
