He served as President for 8 years without record of visiting any European country for medical reasons - Shehu Sani eulogises Obasanjo at 87

Former Kaduna Senator, Shehu Sani, has felicitated ex-Nigerian leader, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo for marking his 87th birthday on Tuesday.

The ex-senator said Obasanjo survived the Civil War that lasted between 1967 and 1970, and came out from imprisonment from 1995 to 1998 under former military ruler, Gen Sani Abacha.

The former federal lawmaker showered praises on Obasanjo for returning the country to the democratically elected government of the Second Republic in 1979.

Sani who made these known via his X account on Tuesday added that the former president is endowed with special strength even as he governed for eight years without seeking any medical tourism.

He wrote, “Obasanjo midwifed the second republic in 1979 where Shagari, Awo, Zik, Aminu Kano, Waziri Ibrahim and later Braithwaite strongly led that season. The great men all died and Obasanjo is still alive.

“With the exception of Jim Nwobodo and Awwal Ibrahim now an Emir, all the Governors of the Second Republic have died, Obasanjo is still alive.

“He was Nigeria’s President 17 years ago and he can still play soccer, dance and send missiles he calls letters. He survived the Civil War, survived the prison and survived the Presidency.”

“He served as President for 8 years without record of visiting any European country for medical reasons,” he stated.

Speaking about the octogenarian’s physical and mental stability, Sani said though he was a senior to Obasanjo when they were in the KiriKiri prison, he remained strong and resilient as an old soldier man.

Sani said, “I was his senior in Kiri Kiri maximum security prison in 1995, when we were all charged for treason and sentenced to life imprisonment and later reduced to 15 years by the Abacha military tribunal. In prison, he remained strong as an old soldier.”

“What could be the secret behind the resilience, enduri

SACRED LEGITIMATION OF A KING

The First Coronation of Baale of Sabo Kingdom

Kingship, especially the sacred aspects of the office of a king, has for a long time fascinated scholars in a variety of fields such as history, religious studies, or area studies. Kingship (or any kind of absolutist power) and its close relationship to and use of religion for the purpose of legitimizing power seem an almost universal concept in human history

The coronation or ascent to the throne by a king is an official act that most clearly shows the sacral character of the kingdom.

Until the 2023 two characteristics in the coronations of king and emperor in Sabo, Yaba, Lagos remained: complete ascent to the throne, Kareem Ayinde OSOBA, the First Baale; is placed higher than other men, and the act of accession is connected with divine powers; with this action a new era begins for the People of Sabo, Yaba, Lagos.

New materials have come to light since then that make a reconsideration of the topic essential not only to scholars of the ancient Sabo, (the Hausa settlers) but also for scholars of other disciplines.

Understanding of the origins of Sabo kingship is a key element for understanding the divinization of the king.

SABO - THE SILICON VALLEY OF LAGOS
The word “Sabo” is derived from Hausa language and it means “new”. Early Hausa migrants settled in the area, hence the Hausa origin of the name.

Sabo, Yaba is popularly regarded as the Silicon Valley of Lagos (Yabacon Valley), it is a commercial area and the home of many technology startups in Lagos like Go My Way, Andela, Techpoint, Crusaders, Jumia Travel, all located within the proximity of Sabo environs.

Overtime, Sabo has experienced steady and tremendous growth owing to the existence of a number of companies, financial organisations and other tech-driven businesses in the neighbourhood. Sabo is characterized by the presence of business owners, business leaders, top tech entrepreneurs, investors, among other's ...

CAN INEC EVER GET P***C TRUST AGAIN.
To refuse to admit that they betrayed the trust Nigerian's had on them buildup to the February 25th Presidential Election is a very serious setback to future election in Nigeria, worse of all is the judiciary affirming that INEC can deliberately without any regards to the political parties who's mandate they represent change their initial agreement to transmit results electronically on election day has gone down history and has become legally binding that INEC cannot be relayed on.

It's going to take another court to affirm that INEC was wrong, if not INEC will never get p***c trust again. If INEC break it's own promise and principle, and judiciary affirm that the have right to break their promise of transmitting results electronically on election day, they will the judiciary to compel the p***c to listen to them again, trust them on their words, they will need the judiciary to tell Nigerian's what to believe concerning INEC and future election's.

It's Indeed frustrating to do hiphop in Nigeria,

this PHYNO FINO artist Superboycheque has been blessing our ears with good music but he isn't getting the due credit of his efforts.

His last album still slaps hard,.. the album was expected to immensely get recognition by some music heads because of it replay value but sadly, Nigerians just want to dance.
truly Nigerians don't deserve some of their artist as some persons said.

The lyrical content of his songs,
Sonic cohesion,Rhymes and his unapologetic guts when flowing are just insĂĽne bruh
