I tried hard to find the right adjectives to describe your extraordinary traits as a human being, but my repertoire of vocabularies has failed me or I have to say: I need to learn more vocabularies to give a perfect eulogy to you Miss Nigeria 2019, Nyekachi Douglas.
Your extraordinary show of genuine heart and irresistible love for the other; Miss Jamaica, crowned as Miss World 2019 entrapped the attention of the world with many asking, do we still have human beings who are selfless with unadulterated love for others? Some asked, but you were in the competition to win, why would you show so much ecstasy for the other, who has won the crown, you were contesting for? Some out of their bigotry said you were over joyous because at list a black lady has won the competition. However, I would say it is only the visually impaired and prejudiced mind will not see the love you showed to Miss Brazil, Elis Coelho in the midst of your excitement for Miss Jamaica; by embracing both or is Miss Brazil also black? Whether white or black a “genuine heart in action knows no color pigment, they demonstrate it naturally."
Miss Nyekachi Douglas, your free heart of love has gone to the competition and has to not disappoint you. You showed that you are in the competition not only to win a crown but to showcase how a genuine heart behaves in the midst of competition, and if it is sports I would say you are the fair play player of the competition and beyond. I may not know your actual reasons for the exceptional joy for Miss Jamaica with victory dance; nonetheless, if it is for friendship, you have shown that true friends still exist, even if it is for affiliation, then it’s not bad at all. You have thought us that, even if others stereotype us, we must stand for each other. Your joy and happiness on the stage can never be artificial at all; it was real and natural.
