PRECONCEPTION PLANNING TIPS
As a rule of thumb, you do not have to wait for that long. Not that you are going in for fertility treatment or so. You are only intentional parents planning for the future of your family. This is called PLANNED PARENTHOOD.
As a couple planning for either their first, third or even sixth baby, you have an important need for you to get your body and mind ready for that little bundle of joy that will occupy your world in no distant time. So, take these very important steps to help you get ready for the healthiest pregnancy and baby possible.
STEP #1: PLAN, PLAN AND TAKE ACTION
As adults, whether as a married couple or domestic partners, you have sat down one day to think about your pregnancy and child bearing needs and goals. You may have desired only one child for the first few years of your relationship. Before now, you may not have had a desire for a biological baby. So, you might have opted for suitable birth controls methods. Now,that you have finally decided to grow a little one inside you, it is time to make those plans on what you desire, clearly mapping out ways to achieve such goals.
Although pregnancy decisions should be made by both partners, the bulk decision rests on the woman that will carry the baby since it's her body that gets affected most. However, you should allow your partner feel present by taking his hand of love as you navigate this long nine months journey.
These plans could mean making some lifestyle changes some months before conception, sorting out your finances and putting some checks on your health and weight.

PRECONCEPTION PLANNING TIPS
Hello, I trust you had a great day. Today, we shall be looking at this rarely talked about issue among couples planning to achieve a healthy pregnancy.
To get the facts straight, getting pregnant may appear easy for a lot of people but know that it can lead to a whole lot of stress with couples who are having some challenges. Many couples do not actually conceive at their first try. For some, it may take an average of 6 months to get that positive on a HPT or blood work at the doctor's office. For a lot of people like us, it may take up to 1 year or even more to get that red mark talk more of carrying a healthy baby to term.
Medically, provided there is no pre-existing health or medical condition with you or your partner, every healthy couple has a 25% chances of getting pregnant in a month. Remember that optimum conception is only possible, all things being equal,within your fertile window.
Every woman has a unique cycle and a fertile window that may not be textbook.This fertile window is the 5 days before and after ovulation (more on this).
So with the above assertions, if you are trying for a baby or just thinking about it, especially when you have a history of secondary infertility with no underlying cause, it is never too late to start prepping your body for pregnancy.
Preconception planning is hardly discussed especially in Nigeria little wonder there are lots of unplanned pregnancies, avoidable pregnancy and delivery complications.
Pre-pregnancy planning bothers on your health and health care. It focuses on what you can do before or between pregnancies to increase your chances of having a healthy baby.
For many couples,it can take only a few months to prep their bodies. For others, you may need to adopt lifestyle changes over a period of years for a positive result.
This time discrepancies does not necessarily mean that there is something wrong with you and your partner. The medical advice is that you should seek help if you have been trying for 6 months to 1 year (more on this) without success.
