Minnesota -Four Minnesota police officers involved in the death of a back man has been fired. George Floyd was taken into custody and pinned down by his neck by a police officer. According to the statement released by the police department, the officers were responding to a "forgery in progress." In continuation of Operation LAFIYA DOLE subsidiary Operation KANTANA JIMLAN, troops of Army Super Camp 6 and 7 conducted a long range fighting patrol on 11 May 2020 and cleared Adzunge and adjoining villages. Also, troops of Special Response Area Pulka with the Civilian Joint Task Force and hunters ambushed the terrorists on 13 May 2020 along Pulka-Boko- Kirawa road. A Pakistan Airbus A320, crashed in a residential area near Karachi Airport with at least 91 aboard on Friday. The Airbus A320, flight 8303 was en route from Lahore to Karachi crashed at 2:37 p.m Information about the causalities is yet to be released, reports has said the plane skidded off the rooftops of several houses before crashing. Military officials are combing the area searching for survivors.

In continuation of the sustained onslaught against Boko Haram Terrorist (BHT) targets in the North East of the Country, the Air Task Force (ATF) of Operation LAFIYA DOLE has destroyed some compounds in Njimia on the fringes of the Sambisa Forest, where the Boko Haram terrorists keep their logistic items. This was achieved through air strikes executed yesterday, 19 May 2020, following credible intelligence reports as well as series of Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) missions that led to the identification of the nondescript cluster of structures within the settlement that were being used by the BHTs to house their fuel and other logistics.
