THE MAN CALLED LAPIDOTH

In the place of prayer, my eyes were opened and I saw a dove carrying a torch with its legs and within the twinkle of an eye, the torch became a scroll and the name came ringing, ‘Lapidoth.’

The voice resonated, "Rejoice woman, for in this season a new breed of Lapidoths shall arise."

Before many men scream, "Blasphemy", the question is, who is Lapidoth?

Lapidoth in Hebrew means 'torches' as opposed to the general belief of many Christian men who chose to interpret the name as ‘a small man.’ They regard him as inferior because they believe that the role his wife (Deborah) played in Israel should have been played by him simply because he was the head.

They are oblivious of the fact that Robert Semple, the first husband of that great female Evangelist, Aimee Semple played a similar role.

Aimee Semple McPherson, in her public declaration, referred to Robert as her 'seminary school'. In her words, “He taught me all I ever knew.” She got saved, baptized in the Holy Ghost, and exposed to missions through this same man.

In her lifetime, she was the founder of The Foursquare Church, which today has more than eighteen hundred churches in the United States and nearly thirty thousand churches worldwide.

Sister Aimee's 1993 whirlwind tour of the United States took place over a period of one hundred and fifty (150) days. She held revivals in 46 cities in 21 states and broadcast 336 sermons on 45 radio stations. An estimated one million people heard or saw her live.

What other life of impact could a man live? 🤷

“It would seem as if all married men and women are doomed to live to please each other. It would seem that marriage is a mistake for women who are ready to serve and obey the call of God to ministry. But it was not so in the case of Deborah because of the man called Lapidoth.” Baba Gbile Akanni said.

Deborah was solely functioning as a prophetess, a warrior and a judge over millions of people without distraction. This tells so much about the moral and religious values, yieldedness to the lordship of God, inner victory and brokenness of the man called Lapidoth.

Today, many men are devoid of such testimonies. Brokenness is far away; and all around, we have many shallow brothers who cannot lead themselves not to talk of leading their wives on the path of righteousness.

Like Robert Semple, Lapidoth spoke few words, but he remained ever speaking through a life he had so much influenced.

👉Lapidoth, a man who never sought any selfish love and attention.

👉Lapidoth, a man who released his wife to God’s service without drama, unnecessary attention from the press, neighbours and family members, and in summary, without distraction.

👉Lapidoth, a man who allowed the treasures in the earthen vessel of his wife to flow ceaselessly to the city and to generations yet unborn, rather than squandering it in his little 3 bedroom flat, rendering a gift of God to nations a mere cook, s*x object or baby making factory as some do today.

👉Lapidoth, a man with truly loving arms; a gardener, a husband and not an horse-band man.

Many will arise in this order and shall correctly interprete and give direction to the destinies of their wives in the religious, education, political, business, art and entertainment world says the Spirit of God. They will be true leaders, lamps to the feet of their wives and lights to their paths.

Marriage is a catalyst that speeds up the rate of the purpose of your existence...

There is a miracle of God that takes place in marriage especially a marriage orchestrated by God,It ushers your life into a better dimension..

No wonder the Bible said that One shall chase a thousand and two shall chase ten thousands so that is to say that you are supposed to produce more results in any area you called into when you are married both male and female...
If one chase a thousand on his own and another chase a thousand on her own,the result will be 2000 and that is minimal but if they combine their efforts together,the result will be 10,000 as the Bible said....It is mind blowing right?...

The Bible also went ahead to say that Two are better than one,So it is expected for you to be better when you are married than when you are single because when you fall,the other person will raise you up...
So it is an error for you to enter marriage and begin to slack in your God-given assignment..

It is an error for you to feed your focus only on marriage and starve your focus on your Ministry..

It is an error for you to marry someone who has no clue on your Assignment..
So if you are in a marriage and you are not doing better(both male and female),You got to step up your game oo...
And if you are in a relationship that is draining you from doing better,Please FLEE🏃🏃🏃
MARRIAGE is created to BETTER our lives not to DRAIN us!!!
In all thy getting marriage,biko don't let desperation be your drive-force...

Wahala for who marry drainage system in form of Spouse ooo...

For me, this is the kind of love that Jesus had and still has for us... The kind that made him die for people who crucified him and people who still reject him. Matter of fact , He loves us all equally.
