During a free beginner class where I taught parts of the sewing machine and how to thread and so on....I noticed some students felt disheartened. Some even messaged me, expecting I would teach with a more modern machine. They doubted that certain styles could be achieved with an old-school Blackhead machine.These are what I made with my blackhead machine and the evidence on this page...But remember, fashion is not about having the trendiest tools. It’s about what you can create with what you have. Don’t let limited tools hold you back—create magic with whatever you have. You might even find that you don’t need all those extra tools you thought you did.Designers, share your advice for beginner sewists in the comments. Someone might really need your encouragement!
Fashion sketch is a must for all fashion designers because if you can’t sketch out your designs how will you visualize the loop holes. I just started my learning journey last week and this is my current stage.

Sometimes, I feel frustrated and exhausted, on the brink of giving up. Despite this, my love for fashion design draws me back time and time again. I’ve come to accept that this passion is an integral part of me, something that can never be taken away.
