Janet, am a Keke man. Yesterday I carried a lady and she paid for charter. I took her to many places and told her the price she agreed on it , 6500. She didn't argue because she went to far distance too. Getting to where she said it's her final location, she came down and give me a hug. Romance me and my thing stand very hard because for some time I have not been with my wife because we quarrel always. She turned me on and said we should do a quick one. It was dark already so I covered my Keke and we did it inside my Keke. She said she won't pay me anything again since I have done it with her. That was what we agreed. So after everything she told me to drop her on another location, which I did and I didn't carry anyone else.

I dropped her and she refused to give me her number, when she left, I packed somewhere to count how much I have made for the day, I didn't see any money, even the 27 thousand naira I kept in my pocket, the one in the Keke box all gone. Almost a total of 38 thousand. Is this a new trick?

I went back to the locations I took her to , no one knows her. And she didn't give me her number. Is this a new trick? All my money gone just on one ride. Had it been I went out with my Android it would have been gone too.

I had to start all over again at 10pm and made just 2k at 12:15am. So I could give my wife money for feeding the next day. I don't even know her name.

NOT ALL DEAD PEOPLE ARE SPIRITS, SOME ARE HUMANS LIVING WITH US
Ordinarily, when someone dies, he or she becomes a spirit. And no one can see them again except of rare occasion on a mission to warn their closer person like son or friends. They can also be seen in dreams. In Igala tradition, it is believed that late family members especially the parents are always coming home to eat and drink but can't be seen. They also come in human form as a child or new baby. It is refered to as "Adawa", in Igala (reincarnated). But aside this, dead person can live in the world and continue his life or even start and do better than in his first place. Some people after death will go to somewhere and settle down. Some will marry a wife, and have children. In the same way, a woman after death will go to another place, marry and have children for the man. In some instances, the man will go one town, get employed, and will always be there to help anyone from his former family when in need. One was a lecturer in a particular school, and was helping a particular student who was the son of his brother in many ways until the boy asked him of his details which he told the boy. The boy said they family is his family but he told the boy to home and ask the family members if they know him. And, that was the first thing the boy discussed with the family members as he came from school. The father told him that he was dreaming, and that that their brother died many years ago. He was even showed the burial spot. He insisted that they are not understanding him. He asked them to send some people with him while going back to school because he knows the house of the man. After much persuasion, two persons followed him to the home of the man who has been helping him. Unfortunately, the people there told them that they man packed from the room yesterday, and that don't know his whereabout. What! Yes. He went to stay somewhere again and will marry and have children and even work like teaching students again. The dead are living with us humans not always as spirits. This is our story. Believe it or not!

My wife took my phone and deleted my girlfriend's number, Rose's number, and saved her own number as Rose.
I didn't know that someone had told my wife about Rose., I then got an SMS From Rose asking for money 200 dollars. I rushed to my wife and lied to her that I needed 200 dollars for an emergency.
I told her that my brother was sick and he needed the money urgently.
My wife gave me the money and I rushed to send it to the account number written in the message. When I was relaxing at home after work, I kept wondering if Rose had received the money.
I sent her an SMS to find out if she had received the money. Her response was, "Call me now."
I went outside behind the house to make a call.eeeh
You can imagine my horror face when i heard my wife's voice instead of Rose's,
It's been three days am still standing outside.
I don't know how to get back into my own house!!!
Any advice plz...

KOGI LADY STABBED TO DEATH BY AN IGBO NEIGHBOUR IN KUBWA

Salma Yunusa, a native of Ajagwumu in Dekina Local Government was stabbed to death by a single mother of two, Immaculate Chukwudi who lives in the same compound with Salma and her elder sister Bilikisu Yunusa on Tuesday 12th March, 2024 in Biaji Kubwa area of Abuja.

Argument ensued from spreading clothes on a rope fixed by the deceased's elder sister which degenerated into Immaculate Chukwudi taking a knife, she stabbed the deceased in the presence of many neighbours.
She gave up the ghost on the way to the Kubwa General Hospital.
The culprit Immaculate confessed to the police with the stained knife, she's currently in police custody in Kubwa while the co**se was buried yesterday in Ajagwumu Dekina Local Government.

The elder sister of the deceased is calling on the public and human rights organisations to help her sister get justice.

EFCC Files N84bn Money Laundering Charges against Yahaya Bello, Others

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, on Thursday, March 14, 2024 dragged former Kogi State governor, Yahaya Adoza Bello before Justice James Omotosho of the Federal High Court, Maitama, Abuja for alleged N84billion money laundering offences, alongside his nephew Ali Bello, Dauda Sulaiman and Abdulsalam Hudu.

The EFCC is prosecuting the quartet on an amended 17-count charge of money laundering, breach of trust and misappropriation of fund to tune of N84, 062,406,089.88 (Eighty-four Billion, Sixty-two Million, Four Hundred and Six Thousand, Eighty-nine Naira, Eighty-eight Kobo).

To make way for Yahaya Bello’s inclusion in the trial, prosecution counsel Rotimi Oyedepo, SAN, informed the court of an application before it for the amendment of the charges against the defendants, dated February 5, 2024, and filed the same day. He then prayed that the amended charges be read to the defendants for them to take their pleas. The judge granted the prayer, overruling objections from A.M Aliyu SAN, and Olusegun Joolawo SAN, counsels to Ali Bello and Suleiman, first and second defendants.

Count one of the charges reads: “That you, Ali Bello, Dauda Suleiman, Yahaya Adoza Bello (still at large) and Abdulsalam Hudu (still at large), sometime in September, 2015 in Abuja, within the jurisdiction of this Honourable Court, conspired amongst yourselves to convert the total sum of N80,246,470,089.88 (Eighty Billion, Two Hundred and Forty-six Million, Four Hundred and Seventy Thousand, Eighty-nine Naira, Eighty-eight Kobo), which sum you reasonably ought to have known forms part of the proceeds of your unlawful activity to wit: criminal breach of trust and you thereby committed an offence contrary to Section 18(b) and punishable under Section 15(3) of the Money Laundering (Prohibition) Act, 2011 as amended.”

While ex-Governor Yahaya Bello and Hudu are still at large, Ali Bello and Suleiman, first and second defendants respectively, who were present in court “pleaded not guilty” to all the charges when they were read to them.

In continuation of the trial, Oyedepo invited fourth Prosecution Witness, PW4, Yakubu Gana, counsel to the property owner and seller of a property located in Danube Street, Maitama, Abuja which Ali Bello and Suleiman allegedly bought at the cost of N950million on behalf of ex-governor Yahaya Bello through their lawyer, Ramalan Jibril Abdullahi.

Gana said that, “we negotiated and agreed on the sum of N950million. Their lawyer, Ramalan Abdullahi, said his clients would prefer to pay in cash and in dollars. I had to call my client to inform him because he was not in the country at that time. My client cautioned me whether I knew the buyers, and I answered I knew their lawyer way back in secondary school.

“The lawyer and the clients invited me into their office, a bureau de change office at Zone 4, adjacent to Sheraton, now Abuja Continental Hotel. They then showed me dollars in ‘Ghana must go,’ but the dollars in ‘Ghana must go’ was not up to that N950million. They said they would make it up by bringing some dollars to make it to N950million. The transaction took us almost two weeks, and the lawyer invited me to the same BDC office for confirmation, then the money was completed in dollar equivalent,” he said.

In his testimony as fifth prosecution witness, Abdullahi told the court that though he acted as a go-between in the purchase of the property, his major assignment was to carry out due diligence on the said property which paved the way for its purchase by Ali Bello and Suleiman, his clients.

Oyedepo requested for the property’s title documents to enable him to tender them in evidence. However, Justice Omotosho ordered him to formally apply to the defendants and thereafter adjourned the matter to March 28, 2024 for continuation of trial.
