Behind every great design, there are sometimes, those projects that just don't make it to the finish line. Here's a design that didn't quite work out as planned.

The brief was to create an ad that would stand out in a competitive space. I did some abracadabra and came up with a design that I was really excited about. Unfortunately, the client said to do a retake and come up with something more befitting for his brand image.

Although the project didn't end up being used, I learned a lot from the experience and wanted to share it with you all. Let me know what you think in the comments!

The McVinci Brand really is designing the future, one logo at a time 🔥

This is a logo design project I worked on and it's my first in this niche. Setko Integrated Services is a company that deals in the import and export of agro-based and fast moving products.

This color palette gives a solid and firm feel to this brand while the company's initials are also represented in the icon mark.

No, on a serious note, I LOVE BRANDING PROJECTS!😩

I was opportuned to create a very delicious brand identity for Good Morning Breakfasts- a food brand who's goal is to make feeding easy and qualitative for it's customers.

The cool thing about designing a brand identity is that it pushes you to your absolute limit everytime. Every single time.

A warm color palette properly portrays the friendliness and youthful vibe of this brand.

When designing a flyer, I try as much as possible to make sure the theme of the flyer resonates well with the target audience and means of use. This was a major consideration for this project; yo make sure the information on it was conveyed effectively.

The thing is; AI Art is here to stay.

As you probably know, the tech world hardly takes a step backwards. AI has proven to be a helpful tool to alot of industries as well as art creators. Designers and Artists alike can now create beautiful imagery with a couple of commands and prompts.
I, in no way think AI is going to fully replace human artistry and relevance. No. More like, become a very helpful tool to said artists.

made A.I. Art and I don`t know how to feel.

A.I. Art is the newest addition in the art world and it`s giving artists mixed feelings. While I want to be part of the people that appreciate A.I. Art and see it as a tool to help artists make better pieces, I can`t help but also consider the harmful effects to the art world, especially as concerning the artists.
I sha, enjoyed making these pieces using the platform.

I got to work on a Logo Revamp project two days ago and I think the result is absolutely fabulous. The client needed something that'd do better in print than their original logo (shown in the last slide) and we achieved that using more minimal shapes and fills. I like the freshness of this new logo mark and I'm glad my client did too🤩👑

The final thing I want Graphic Designers (especially noobs) to know is that they need to be good team players. You need to be able to contribute to the growth of whatever team you work with.

It`s a new month and I`m working on a brand guideline document to educate clients on how their brand identity can be used and maintained consistently through out their brand ecosystem.
"Taste & See" is an imaginary brand that provides African dishes in the African way to locals away from home. Their main objective is to satisfy the nostalgia and local cravings of Africans in diaspora.

Another thing designers need to have in their bags is Marketing. I have to say, this is one of the hardest things to master and arguably the most important.
You have to be able to sell your skill as a designer and that`s where marketing comes in.
