We're inviting talented young artists to showcase their skills and celebrate the beauty of our state.

Categories & Themes:

Ages 4-8: Paint any Plateau tree of economic importance on the map of plateau. 🌳
Ages 9-12: Paint an animal facing extinction on the map of Plateau. 🐾
Prizes:

Winner ₦100,000 💰
2nd Place: ₦50,000 💰
3rd Place: ₦30,000 💰

Submission Details:

Collection of Entries: February 17th - March 21st

QUEEN JEMIMAH VISITS CHAIRMAN,JOS NORTH LOCAL GOVERNMENT COUNCIL.

The little miss Tourism- Queen Jemimah Dawasin and her team led by Mr. Sibin Benjamin today February 6th 2025, paid a courtesy visit to the Executive chairman of Jos North local Government council Bar. JK Chris in his office.

The leader of the team stated that the aim of the visit is to present the Queen to the Chairman as the winner of the contest and to establish a relationship that fosters tourism in the Local Government

In her speech, the Little miss Tourism- Queen Jemimah congratulated the chairman and sought for collaboration with the the Local Government council for the success of her project and tenure.

Mr. JD Luka, a member of the team in his presentation told the council chairman that the Queen is embarking on a wildlife conservation project and a competition tagged " kids paint plateau" open to primary school pupils across the state.

The Executive chairman, Bar. JK Chris represented by the Secretary of the council Hon. Pharm. Samuel Gyang congratulated the Queen on her victory stating that competitions like this allows the younger generations to have an understanding of how life was for our forefathers. He commended the little Queen for taking on such project with direct impact on human existence. He stated the chairman's willingness to collaborate with her office to see that she achieves commendable success.

QUEEN JEMIMAH HOSTS MEET AND GREET

In continuation of her office's activities, Little Miss Tourism - Queen Jemimah hosted a meet and greet event with proposed partners, stakeholders, and influencers at the Sarau Event Center on Saturday, February 1st, 2025.

At the meeting, Queen Jemimah expressed her desire to focus on wildlife conservation, highlighting its importance to human lives and the future. She also announced plans to engage kids on the Plateau in a tourism competition, "Kids Paint Plateau," open to children aged 4-12 years across the state.

Several personalities at the event pledged their support and readiness to collaborate with the Queen to ensure the project's success. Notably:

- Mr. Oghenekevwe of Girlfriend Pad
- Timbyen Daser of Zujiret Enterprise
- Daye Bala of MA Couture

Each offered the Queen ambassadorial positions, demonstrating their commitment to her initiatives.

Decipher presented the Queen with an autographed copy of his soon-to-be-released book, "Letters and Healing."

Other distinguished guests in attendance included:

QUEEN JEMIMAH, THE LITTLE MISS TOURISM, PLATEAU STATE, PLAY HOST TO THE EXECUTIVES OF THE TUDUN WADA YOUTH FORUM. The winner of Little Miss Tourism, Plateau State—Queen Jemimah Dawasin—today, Saturday, 11th January 2025, played host to the executives of the Tudun Wada Youth Forum at her residence at Tudun Wada. The executives were led by the assistant secretary general, Mr. Nanbal Baya, who stated that they were in her home to identify with her, saying that her victory is a victory for the entire Tudun Wada community. In his speech, the leader of the Youth Forum, Mr. Maxwell Gosh*t, started by thanking the parents for seeing the potentials in her and allowing it to shine so that the community, state, and entire nation can benefit from it. He promised that the executives would support her reign and also urged her to focus on God and her academics. In her response, Queen Jemimah thanked the executives for coming and promised to make them and every Tudun Wads child proud. She also requested their prayers for her to have a successful tenure. While appreciating the team of executives, the father of the Little Miss Tourism, Mr. J.D. Luka, thanked the team for coming to associate with the family and encouraged them to look into ways to expose the potentials the Tudun Wada child to the world.
