"THE BIRTH"
“On the 27th September 1993. Esther Ibanga), I was translated and I saw a vision of myself strolling with the Lord as in the cool of the evening together. We came to a point where the whole world was laid out before us. Then He pointed out to me certain points on the earth with spots of light, and all the while, He was talking as if instructing me on what to do. Then I woke up from the vision of the night but could not remember what the Lord was instructing me on. I prayed, waited on the Lord but received no understanding until two years later on the 6th June 1995. As we were praying with a man of God, a word of prophecy came from his lips and he said the Lord opened his eyes to see the world with spots of light on different parts and he heard the Lord say I will plant missionaries all over the world. Therefore, as in Acts 26:19, I have determined not to be disobedient to this heavenly vision. This has resulted in what you are now partakers of as Jos Christian Missions International with the mandate to go forth and make disciples of all nations! We had the first service on the 24th December 1995 at my residence”. On the 24th December 1995 the first ever service of Christian Missions International, was held at the residence of Dr and Pastor (Mrs) Ibanga.Christian Missions International was the initial name of the ministry but was later changed to Jos Christian Missions International. At that service, the large numbers of attendees were mainly guests. The following Sunday only eight people attended the service as foundational members. The founder’s living room was used as the worship auditorium with a room divider overlaid with a white bed sheet as the altar.
