Please note that not everyone falls into the category I'm about to discuss. This message is specifically for those who don't strictly adhere to their allocated performance time and end up encroaching on other artistes' slots. Stop stealing other people's time. It's regrettable, but I'd like to have an open conversation about an important topic: time management.

When we're invited to grace the stage and bless the crowd with our melodies, it's more than just an opportunity; it's a responsibility. And part of that responsibility involves respecting the time allocated to us for our performance or ministration.

Here are a few tips I've learned along the way:

1️⃣ Be the Pro that You Are: As true professionals, we understand the value of time. So, let's show up with our A-game and honour the time set aside for our us.

2️⃣ Let's Talk Time: Before the big event, reach out to the organizers and have a friendly chat about the time they've allocated for our performance. Open communication ensures we're all on the same beat and can keep things flowing smoothly.

3️⃣ Time is Precious: It's better to leave the audience wanting more than to overstay our welcome. Quality over quantity, my friends!

4️⃣ Craft a Setlist and allocate your time evenly.

By cherishing the time given to us, we not only enhance our own artistry but also contribute to the overall success of the event.
Use your time or less, but never more! This way, nobody would have to cut short your performance time or put off your microphone (do the still do that? 😆 🤣).
