# Night prayer before going to bed.

Heavenly Father,

As I lay down to rest under the blanket of Your creation, I recall the words of Psalm 4, finding peace and solace in Your eternal presence. "In peace I will lie down and sleep, for you alone, Lord, make me dwell in safety." (Psalm 4:8)

Lord, as the night enfolds the world, I entrust my spirit, my worries, and my hopes into Your loving hands. You are my refuge and my strength, a very present help in trouble. In the stillness of this night, I ask for Your peace to surround me, Your love to shield me, and Your wisdom to guide me.

Forgive the mistakes I've made today, and help me to forgive those who have wronged me. Let me rest in the assurance of Your forgiveness and grace. Renew my spirit while I sleep, that I may wake with a renewed heart, eager to fulfill Your will and to walk in Your ways.

Protect those I love, and those who have no one to pray for them. May Your angels guard us all through the night, keeping us safe from harm and fear. I pray for those who are working, those who are hurting, and those who are searching for You. May Your presence be a comfort to them as well.

Thank You for the blessings of this day, and for the promise of Your unending love. In the quiet of this night, I rest in You, O Lord.
