Only a dad,with a tired face,
Coming home from the daily race,
Bringing little of gold or fame,
To show how much he has played the game,
But glad in his heart that his heart rejoice,
To see him come, and to hear his voice.

Only a dad with a brood of four,
One of ten million men or more,
Plodding along in the daily strife,
Bearing the whips and the scorns of life,
With never a whimper of pain or hate,
For the sake of those who at home await.

Only a dad, neither rich nor proud,
Merely one of the surging crowd,
Toiling, striving from day to day,
Facing whatever may come his way,
Silent, whatever the harsh condemn,
And bearing it all for the love of them.

Only a dad, but he gives his all,
To smooth the way for his children,
Doing with courage, sterm and grim,
The deeds that his father did for him,
This is the line for him i pen,
Only a dad, but the best of men.

You are the glue that holds everything together, we hope you know that.
Your very presence is power, when you speak it resonates and yet your silence is deafening.
In all you go through you fight for not only who you are but who you are striving to be, we see you.

5TH ANNIVERSARY: LEAVING NO ONE BEHIND, AND NOTHING UNTOUCHED ~ Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri

Marking the 5th anniversary of Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri’s FreshAir administration, the people of Adamawa State, Nigeria, celebrate a leader who has truly surpassed expectations.

Dubbed “Mr. Project,” “The ATM,” and “The FreshAir Governor,” Fintiri has become a beacon of progress for the peace-loving citizens of Adamawa. Since taking office in 2019, he has consistently turned his words into actions, living up to his mantra of “Leaving No One Behind, And Nothing Untouched.” This dedication even inspired former President Olusegun Obasanjo to remark, “If we had half the governors doing one-quarter of what Gov. Fintiri is doing, Nigeria would be better.”

Governor Fintiri measures his success against his own past achievements, driving improvements across all sectors: health, security, education, agriculture, women and youth empowerment, sports, and more. Notably, his urban renewal and infrastructural projects have captured the nation’s attention, including the ambitious flag-off of five flyovers in the capital city. With two completed, one 80% done, and two more underway, his impact is undeniable.
