I saw people making a mockery post about how water didn't get enemy but still kill people.

Before you make mockery of something or display your ignorance, try and understand why a word was said or used.

From my own little understanding of water not having enemy , it means that you cannot harm a person using water as it is a general believe that water neutralize charms and poison.

You cannot poison water and give someone to drink expecting the person to die. It won't work.

There are some cases You will encounter, you will be asked to get a clean water in a transparent or white cup, speak over it and use it to your own advantage.

But because water no get enemy, you enter a big ocean without preventive measures and expect magic.

Well something must kill a human not even man this time but let that thing that will kill you not come from you due to carelessness.

NAIRA ABUSE: Court Grants Cubana Chief Priest N10m Bail

The Federal High Court in Lagos has granted businessman and socialite, Pascal Okechukwu, aka Cubana Chief Priest, N10m bail with two sureties in like sum.

Cubana Chief Priest, who pleaded not guilty to charges of tampering and abusing the naira during his trial, was arraigned before Justice Kehinde Ogundare on three counts related to the alleged spraying and tampering with the nation’s currency at a social event.

Kwara State Governor received the delegation from the ER-KANG Mining Nigeria Company LTD

Today, I received a delegation from the ER-KANG Mining Nigeria Company Limited led by the Managing Director, Sun Qing Rong, at Government House Ilorin.

During our meeting, I mentioned to them that our administration is always open for partnerships and engagements that attract investments and pave the way for local processing of solid minerals in our state.

We will continue to promote a business friendly environment and make sure that our ease of doing business is next to none, such that Kwara becomes a destination and center for solid minerals and mining in Nigeria.

The Federal Government is looking into a policy of ensuring solid minerals are processed before export. What the ER-KANG Mining Nigeria Company Limited is doing shows that direction of processing the minerals before exporting or before further processing into other uses within Nigeria.

The location of the company near the state's Industrial Park, which is under construction, is apt and will serve mutual benefits. Our Industrial Park will soon become an export processing zone. What this then means is that if the mining company is within that zone, all their equipment will have been imported duty-free into Nigeria.

I assured the delegation of the safety of their company, its workers, and everyone in our state. Our administration looks forward to good engagements with the ER-KANG Mining Nigeria Company Limited. We also want them to be an ambassador of Kwara in China, encouraging other Chinese companies to come and invest in Kwara.

AbdulRazaq: Lagos-Calabar Coastal Highway a huge project with significant impact

Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq has expressed support for the 700km Lagos-Calabar Coastal Highway, describing it as a huge project that will have a significant impact on the nation when completed.

AbdulRazaq spoke today in Lagos during a visit by governors and the leadership of the National Assembly to President Tinubu, in commemoration of Eid-el- Fitri.

Led by Vice-President Kashim Shettima, the delegation included Senate President Godswill Akpabio; the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Tajudeen Abbas. AbdulRazaq, Governor of Kwara State is the Chairman of the Nigeria Governors Forum.

He commended the President's efforts in stabilizing the economy and improving living conditions, highlighting the positive developments in the country, which include the stabilization of the exchange rate and decreasing food prices.

He attributed these improvements to the President's initiatives and also lauded the Federal Ministry of Health and Social Welfare's funding for 8,800 primary healthcare centres.

"We commend your efforts because the ship is gradually turning. We have seen how the exchange rate of the naira against the dollar is coming down. The cost of food is coming down. The dry season harvest is commencing soon. Things are getting better, and there is light at the end of the tunnel," the Governor said.

He urged President Tinubu to persevere in his efforts towards achieving economic stability.

The Governor also expressed gratitude for the support provided by the Federal Government to states, particularly in distributing grains to alleviate food shortages.

''We are here to support you, and we also thank you for the support that you are giving to the sub-nationals. Trucks are wheeling up across the nation, distributing grains. I have received, and most of the states have.

''Because of what you are doing, those who are hoarding food items are releasing them, and that is why the prices of food are coming down,'' he said.

Governor AbdulRazaq reiterated the governors' commitment to supporting the President's initiatives and pledged to continue complementing the efforts of the federal government in driving progress and prosperity across the nation.

Kwara Water Corporation shuts Eastern line for repairs till April 18

Kwara State Water Corporation on Saturday said it will shut down the Eastern line (in Ilorin) for some repairs from next Monday, April 15.

"This is to inform all consumers that we shall be shutting down Eastern line for repair job on the leakage pipe of High Lift pump no. 5 from Monday 15th of April, hoping to finish on or before Thursday 18th of April, 2024," according to a statement by Assistant General Manager (Mechanical & Electrical).

The statement said the Corporation regrets the inconveniences this temporary shutdown may cause its customers.
