*AbdulRaheem urges Muslim to use spiritual lessons learnt during the 30-day Ramadan fast*

The former vice chancelloof university of Ilorin, Prof. Shuaib Oba AbdulRaheem has called on Muslims faithful to use the Eid-el-Fitri period to pray for the peace and unity of Nigeria, stressing that the Muslim Ummah must reflect on the significance of the religious obligations by putting to use spiritual lessons learnt during the 30-day Ramadan fast.

The statement was contain in a message to commemorate this year’s Eid-el-fitr Sallah celebration issued and signed by one of his media team member Cmr. Hameed Sholagberu, also enjoined Muslims to use the opportunity of the end of Ramadan to offer prayers to God for peaceful co-existence among different ethno-religious groups.

AbdulRaheem said, “We must continue to live up to the tenets of our faith through acts of charity, peaceful coexistence, obedience to the injunctions of the Holy Qur’an and sacrifice.

He called on all Nigeria people to be optimistic as the on-going economic meltdown would soon become history.

“For us to effectively weather the storm now, we as a people must be ready to make some sacrifices for a reward of better tomorrow,” he stated.

ABDULRAHEEM CONGRATULATES NEW OLUPO OF AJASE-IPO

The former vice-chancellor university of Ilorin, Prof. Oba Abdulraheem has congratulated Barr. Ismail Bolaji Yahaya, the new olupo of Ajase-IPO.

Prof. Oba Abdulraheem made this known in his goodwill message through his Public relations officer of his media team Comr. Abdulwahab Alafara described the Appointment of new olupo as well- deserved considering the wealth of experience.

Barr. Ismail Bolaji Yahaya ascends the throne with a solid pedigree; sound education,rich public and private service experience. His diplomatic skills will also come handy in steering affairs of the Community.

While commending state government and the king makers further said the success of the His Royal Highness must be collective hence, both the traditional institution and stakeholders must work together to achieve a common goals.

Finally, Talba of Ilorin urge Ajase-ipo princes and people to embrace the new Olupo and fully support him. it is only joining hands heights. I pray to Almighty Allah to guide and protect his Royal Highness as he starts his reign which promise to be glorious.

Let me seize this opportunity to expose the real LEGEND to you.
Both AGF and the late Saraki had really contributed their own quota to the development of Kwara state. Through politics and personal wealth. But from criticism and praise from the pro and anti of the duo, I came to discover their weaknesses.
And this is not an avenue to rate one above another.
WHO IS THE REAL LEGEND?
It's that gentleman, who had through self discipline, determination, dedication and prayer reached the apogee of his career four Decades ago.
Not on a platter of gold or inheritance.

It's the man who was not around but his name was already established in the home because of his contribution from Afar.
He singlehandedly exposed us to education throughout his tenure as vice Chancellor of the university of Ilorin in 1997 to 2002.
The slot of vice Chancellor was with the mercy of Allah.
It's generally Believe that the level of the education of every society will determine it's development.
So when you talk of development in KWARA state, the pioneer is not far fetched.
Education is all we need to build a healthy and egalitarian society, OBA ABU has produced many educationists, who are doing fine in their field and also contributing their own quota to the society.

This man later Believe that to do more to society, one need to join politics. Like what ComradeAhmed Qudus, Mustapha Nuhu Olohunkun, Otukoko Olayinka Ibrahim, Kayode Ogunlowo are contributing in their little capacity to their immediate environment.
In April 2008, professor was appointed as excutive chairman of federal character commission by the then president, president Umar Musa Yaradua. It was as if the commission was just established for the first time as he administered the organization to the best interest of every Nigerians.
Kwarans were the most luckiest people during the time because the raining of slots were falling on every households.
Today, there is no any organization, sector, ministry, military and para-millitary that a kwaran is not there. Is OBA ABU that Almighty Allah used for this great developments.

The fact remains that Saraki's name has been reigning in Ilorin more than four Decades but almost four Decades, OBA ABU's name has been established and still reigning.
Professor Oba's name has been reigning without any STAIN so shall it be, inshaAllah.
