I was dating a guy, when I got pregnant his parents forced him to deny the pregnancy then they sent him to the United States leaving me with the pregnancy. 2 months later I met a guy who decided to be with me even though I was pregnant with someone else. He supported me right through birth. After giving birth, he enrolled me in a training center and paid for it all. It's been 5 years since we've been together. My whole family knows him, he plans to gift me in 3 months. But the problem is my baby daddy is back. He has apologized to me and is ready to take me back with his child. I confess I'm still in love with him, he might take me to the states with him, this is an opportunity for me. I want to go back with him but I'm afraid to hurt the other. How do you make him understand that he doesn't feel betrayed and hurt? It's true that he made a lot of sacrifices for me, but I must not be a hypocrite towards him, because in my heart he is not my kind. Advise me. +2348102312810

Film Review
Title: Jagun Jagun
Where: Netflix
Genre: Nollywood/Yorubahood. 🤣

Me: Oh my goodness!

Yorùbá Folks, rise up. Rise up and be proud of your tradition, culture and your actors.

Bàbá Bello! Your children are doing well. Femi Adebayo and Tijani Adebayo, well done.

This is amazing ❤️ ❤️ ❤️

I am not even going to attempt a rating. I am just impressed. I was entertained.

Actors: ALL of them. The main characters you love and know in the Yorùbá industry.

Pictures? As realistic as it should be! ❤️

Make up, brilliant! ❤️

Location, the beauty of Nigerian landscape! ❤️

Femi owned this. He has done well!

I can't wait for the sequel. The introduction of Ibrahim Chatta tells me there is more to come.

My friend "YoruEnglish" Lateef Adedimeji is the heroic "Spartacus" that's just so good to see as he evolves in the various form of characters thrown at him.

Ìjẹ̀bú (the actor) was introduced and cancelled in just 30 seconds without his uttering a word..🤣 😂 🤣 🤣

Yorùbá Magic on screen! Simply magical!!!

PROFESSOR PETER FATOMILOLA

Peter Fatomilola was born on 16th January, 1946 at Ifisin, Ido-Osi, a city in Ekiti state, South-western Nigeria to the family of Late Chief Abraham Ojo and Mrs Elizabeth Fatomilola, being the only child of his mother, though his father had several other children. He had his primary education at The Apostolic Primary School, Iwaro-Oke; he went to the modern school at Ilesa and then Ife City Commercial College in 1968 for his secondary education.

Acting, for him, began when he was in primary school. He used to write short plays and direct his friends who were co-actors with him. When he was at the City College, he collaborated with his house master and established a drama group named Ife City Dramatic Society, and he was further sponsored by the schools principal, Adeyera, who donated a bus to the group.

Peter Fatomilola and his group went about staging plays such as Oluwa LO Mejoo Da, Agbalowomerii: Baale Jontoro, etc. In the course of these tours, in 1970, Peter came in contact with late Professor Ola Rotimi during a festival at Oranmiyan Local Government where he had won the medal as best actor. Prof Ola Rotimi took interest in him, so Peter began to work with him. After his secondary education, Prof Ola Rotimi enrolled him in his own Theatre group University of Ife Theatre. Peter Fatomilola worked there for ten years before Ola Rotimi left for Port Harcourt. Peter thereafter worked for Wole Soyinka until his retirement.

He is the son of a Chief Ifa Priest, which was believed to influence his herbalist roles in Nigerian Yoruba Film. Peter Fatomilola is a retired academic staff of Obafemi Awolowo University where he obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Theatre Arts in 1978. He was the first person to act the role of Papa Ajasco, a lead role in a comedy opera produced by Wale Adenuga. He has featured in several notable Nigerian movies including Sango, an epic African movie scripted by Wale Ogunyemi and produced by Obafemi Lasode.

Peter Fatomilola is currently the Head of Ifa Priests in his town. Just recently, he was honoured with a chieftaincy title in Ile-Ife by the Ooni of Ife. Peter Fatomilola is a proud father of over two dozen children who he has successfully trained in their academics.

BRIEF HISTORY OF GBAGYI PEOPLE

Gbagyi or Gbari (plural - Agbagyi) is the name and the language of Gbagyi/Gbari ethnic group who are predominantly found in Central Nigeria with a population of about 15million people. Members of the ethnic group speak two dialects.

While speakers of the dialects were loosely called Gwari or Gwagi (an dulterated form of Gbagyi) by both the Hausa/Fulani and Europeans during pre-colonial Nigeria, they prefer to be known with their original name of Gbagyi.

They live in Niger, Kaduna, Kogi, Nasarawa states and the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.

Gbagyi is the most populated ethnic and indigenous group in the Federal Capital Territory of Nigeria, Abuja and their major occupation is farming.

Historically, the Gbagyi practice a patrilineal kinship system. The lowest tier of authority is found in the extended family compound led by the oldest male. The compound consists of small huts and rectangular buildings.

The Osu (king) is the highest tier of authority in a Gbagyi settlement and he is assisted by a group of kingmakers and elders.

The Gbagyi people are predominantly farmers but they are also hunters while some are involved in making traditional arts and craft products such as pottery and woodwork like mortar and pestle.

Gbagyi are good with mixing clay to produce decorative household products such as pots.

Significant Gbagyi towns include Minna, Kwakuti, Kwali, Wushapa (Ushafa), Bwaya (Bwari), Karu, Suleija, Abuja and Paiko.

There are some theories that posits the reasons for the scattered settlements and migration of the Gbagyi people. Some historians believe that the Gbagyi were displaced from their original settlements during the Fulani jihad, while some local historians link migration with the need for farmland by the Gbagyi.

Gbagyi settlements can be both large and small. In locations where farming is the dominant occupation, the settlements tend to be small so that enough land is available for farming.

PRESS STATEMENT

Osun SSG Replies ARAJ, Says Osogbo and My Office Fully Recognised under Governor Adeleke

My attention has been drawn to a baseless attack on the state government by Mr Kehinde Raji in which he alleged the marginalization of Osogbo and the relegation of the office of the Secretary to the State Government.

I want to strongly reject the allegation as lacking any basis in truth or reality. Governor Ademola Adeleke has since assuming office treated Osogbo as his second home by attending to the infrastructural upgrade of the capital city from roads to water and light among others. Osogbo is receiving full gubernatorial attention for which our people are openly appreciative.

It is equally false to posit that my office has been relegated by a cabal. There is no cabal in the state government and I wonder where Mr Raji got his false narration from. I remain an ever busy SSG who is handling many high profile state tasks and whose office is functioning fully in line with best practices.

I see the write up by Mr Araj as a failed attempt to create a wedge between the people of Osogbo and the state government. Within such a short period of time, Osogbo has benefited substantially from the present government and it is unfair to falsify reality for cheap political gains.

Rather than anybody embarking on political blackmail, Osogbo is instead grateful to State Governor, Senator Ademola Adeleke for rewarding the city so impressively. We apologize for the embarrassment this publication may have caused the state leadership.

Signed:
Hon Teslim Igbalaye
Secretary to the State Government
