The above name mentioned unity cup competition 2023 will kick starts On Sunday 17th December, 2023 at independence High school ukana, Essien udim LGA Akwa ibom state.
We all know that,Round leather always bring togetherness, it Foster unity, it bring identification, exposure, popularity and many more.
This year tournament will disclose the hidden talents of our young youths and also take them to the zenith.

Akpabio Preaches Message of Hope at Christmas Carol
President of the Senate, Senator Godswill Akpabio says in spite of the challenges and uncertainty surrounding the world today, Nigerians should not despair saying Jesus Christ remains the beacon of hope.
He also admonished the Christian faithful to embrace Jesus’s teachings in order to discover strength, redemption and the promise of eternal life.
Akpabio made this known in his speech as the Chief Host to the 20th Anniversary edition of the Service of Nine Lessons tagged 'the National Carols 2023" jointly organised by the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA), Radio Nigeria and Voice of Nigeria (VON) at the National Ecumenical Centre, Abuja.
He noted that the power of hope resonates deeply within Nigeria urging Nigerians to show compassion and forgiveness towards one another.
“As we gather here today, united in celebration and joy, we are reminded of the true essence of Christmas – the birth of Jesus Christ, our eternal hope. Let us, therefore, reflect upon this profound theme of "Jesus Our Hope," and embrace His love and grace.
“In Nigeria, the power of hope resonates deeply within us. We have faced our fair share of trials and tribulations, but our faith and the hope found in the message of Jesus have kept us resilient. Today, as we celebrate Christmas in unity and love, let us rekindle that hope within our hearts, inspiring change, forgiveness, and compassion towards one another”.
The Senate President who read the Eight Lesson from Matthew 2: 3-6, said “This Christmas carol event, graciously organised and jointly by the Nigeria Television Authority, Voice of Nigeria and Radio Nigeria serves as a reminder for us all that our hope in Jesus shall never fail because God’s word shall never pass away. His love, which was made manifest in Christmas, shall never cease and it brings good will and peace to all of mankind.

The Senate President, Godswill Akpabio, has described as malicious and untrue reports that there are plans to unseat him as a presiding officer of the 10th Senate.
He further noted that the Senate under his leadership is stable and harmonious and cannot be distracted by “the innuendo of the merchants of political tar brush by what appears to be a syndicated media attack from outside the precincts of the National Assembly.”
There were media reports on Saturday stating that plans were underway to unseat Akpabio as the president of the 10th Senate when the Senate reconvenes on September 26, 2023.
The report also noted that two prominent senators from the North West and other senators across the national assembly are already meeting and mapping out plans to carry out the daring move.

PRESIDENT TINUBU NOMINATES NEW CBN GOVERNOR AND MANAGEMENT TEAM FOR SENATE SCREENING AND CONFIRMATION
President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has approved the nomination of Dr. Olayemi Michael Cardoso to serve as the new Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), for a term of five (5) years at the first instance, pending his confirmation by the Nigerian Senate.
This directive is in conformity with Section 8 (1) of the Central Bank of Nigeria Act, 2007, which vests in the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, the authority to appoint the Governor and Four (4) Deputy Governors for the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), subject to confirmation by the Senate of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
Furthermore, President Bola Tinubu has approved the nomination of four new Deputy Governors of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), for a term of five (5) years at the first instance, pending their confirmation by the Nigerian Senate, as listed below:
(1) Mrs. Emem Nnana Usoro
(2) Mr. Muhammad Sani Abdullahi Dattijo
(3) Mr. Philip Ikeazor
(4) Dr. Bala M. Bello
In line with President Bola Tinubu's Renewed Hope agenda, the President expects the above listed nominees to successfully implement critical reforms at the Central Bank of Nigeria, which will enhance the confidence of Nigerians and international partners in the restructuring of the Nigerian economy toward sustainable growth and prosperity for all.

God Will Help Me Fulfil The Dreams Of Nigerians - Tinubu
The President-elect, Bola Tinubu, on Friday, said that God would help him fulfil the dreams and aspirations of Nigerians during his administration.
Tinubu said this when the President, Major General Muhammadu Buhari (retd.), took him on a familiarisation tour of the Presidential Villa, in Abuja ahead of inauguration.
He added that God would keep him in good health and help him carry the burden to be able to fulfil the dreams of Nigerians.
He said, “Help me God, to carry the burden, to face the challenges, and keep me in good health, to be able to fulfill the dreams and aspirations of millions of our people.”
