"Hello, Israel, how can I discover my purpose in life, I don't even know if I have a purpose?"
_
"Hello, thanks for asking. Firstly, I will like to state that, "no one is born without a purpose, irrespective of the situation associated with your birth. We are all born for a purpose." Finding your purpose may look challenging, but in the course of your getting to discover it, you must be intentional, disciplined, and committed. Below are some tips on how to get started in finding your purpose.
1. Go to God:
You must come to the realisation that - Purpose is spiritual. It is something that has to do with one's destiny and one's lifetime experience. It isn't just a physical manifestation, you must have a spiritual backup to live a purposeful life. Some parents or guardians seek diabolical means to know the purpose of their children's birth, they want to see what their children's future would be...
Some individuals have gotten frustrated over the long run because they fail to know the reason for their existence in life, therefore they go to seek fe**sh means to discover their purpose in life, but I present to you reading this that the best, most reliable, and secure place to discover your purpose in life is in Jesus.
Seek him in prayers and fasting. With my little spiritual knowledge, I've come to the understanding that, God may not necessarily reveal what your purpose is, through dreams, or visions, or tell you directly. He may reveal it through the slightest medium we can ever imagine. It can be revealed to you when you are reading a book, article, or any piece of information. He can use several people at different places to tell you the same thing, which is in alignment with what your purpose should be in life. He can also propel you to take action that will further lead you to know your purpose, but this can only be possible when you maintain the right relationship with God.
2. Explore your passion:
Your passions and interest are also good indicators of the area in which your life purpose may lie. To discover your passion, you need to ask yourself, "what am I good at?" After knowing what you're good at, or your area of interest, then you should have a growth mindset - Constantly seeking ways to evolve in that area of interest.
3. Associate yourself with like-minded people:
We all have people who inspire us in one way or the other. These are the set of people you should associate yourself with. Whether online or physically. They can be physical coaches or online mentors, you should seek ways to associate yourself with them, if you can't have a one-on-one discussion with them, you can purchase their online courses, and listen to their podcasts. By so doing, you'd unlearn, learn, and re-learn. They'd contribute to a greater sense of your purpose in life.
4. Read:
Reading expands your horizon of knowledge. When you read, you'd be more aware of what you don't know. Reading leads you to a higher sense of your purpose in life. Reading good books would take you from the position you're currently into a better position.
Show me a successful person, and I'd show you a person who took out time to clarify their purpose, and unless you discover your purpose, you'd continue to wander through life like a wanderer who has no destination. May that never be any of our portion in Jesus' name. Amen. I love you so much, cheers to a purposeful 2023 and beyond 🥂🍻❣ Happy New Year from me to you.
