SUBSCRIPTION RESUMES!!!

We are pleased to announce that, from Thursday, February 1, 2024, all new and existing subscribers and the general public can now subscribe to the Pipul TV service via the Subscription menu on the Pipul TV website (www.pipul.tv) or via the direct link of https://pipul.tv/register/monthly/. All existing complimentary logins will terminate on said date.

Please kindly note, however, that the dedicated SIM card (DSC) service has not yet been restored. The reactivation will be announced once completed.

SERVICE RESTORATION UPDATES

The few updates available are:

1. VoDs (Movies and Series) are being fully reloaded and will be available from Wednesday, March 22, 2023.

2. The live matches on match days are already available and streams all games for the major leagues and competitions.

3. Most of the premium channels are being restored and will be fully available from Wednesday, March 22, 2023.

4. All free login credentials access will cease from March 30, 2023. You may wish to subscribe afterwards with your personal credentials. Guidelines on how to restore these will be published on or before then.

5. The DSC (Dedicated SIM Card) is not available at this time. This is expected to be reactivated by the third quarter of this year, pending regulatory approvals. The nèw DSC will be network independent. More on this will be revealed in the coming months.

The Nigeria National Football League (NNL) has rescheduled the draw for the new season, which was postponed earlier, to Tuesday 28th February, 2023. The draw will be conducted virtually at 11:00 AM from the league's secretariat located at the Glass House on Olusegun Obasanjo way, Wuse Zone 7, Abuja. To participate, teams must have completed the registration formalities and will be provided with a Zoom link.

The groups and format for the 2022/2023 new season have already been decided for the Northern and Southern conferences. The upcoming draw will determine the home and away basis for teams throughout the season. The NNL fresh season is set to commence on Friday, 3rd of March, 2023, at designated centers.

Key takeaways from NNL Annual General Meeting (AGM) held on February 3, 2020 as observed by Aspire FC delegation

1. Chief Operating Officer (COO) of NNL Mr Emmanuel Adesanya admonished everyone present to adhere to the tenets of professional football and rules guiding the league.

2. Friday, 3rd March, 2023 was unanimously agreed as kick off date for the 2022/2023 league season.

3. A super abridged league format of 8 groups was adopted. Proximity will guide the placement of teams within groups.

4. Total of 40 teams will take part in the league and at the end of the season, 8 teams who top each of their groups will slug it out at a super 8 competition. The top 4 winners will be promoted to the NPFL.

5. 12 teams will be relegated at the end of the season. The last 8 teams of each group will be joined by 4 losers of relegation playoffs. They all will be relegated to NLO 1.

6. The Assembly, agreed that all clubs must allow the streaming of matches, home and away, without hindrance to enhance awareness and visibility of the league.

7. The congress agreed that only clubs who fulfill their registration obligations before the two weeks deadline shall be drawn on the fixtures to play in the 2022/2023 league.

8. The Assembly adopted the amended rules and regulations for the 2022/2023 season as a legal document binding on all clubs.

9. The assembly also agreed on stringent rules and fines for different offences committed ranging from falsification of data, double registration, assault and breach of rule.
