The enemy isn’t trying to keep people from places of worship anymore.

He’s not worried about declarations of faith or crowded sanctuaries.

In fact, our worship centers are fuller than ever, with new branches and ministries springing up constantly.

Yet, there’s a concerning trend among believers.

Many who fill the pews every Sunday leave unchanged.

They carry the name of Christ but live in a way that denies His power.

Their lips speak His name, but their actions reflect the world.

Far too many supposed believers aren’t yielding to the Holy Spirit and, as a result, aren’t being refined by Him.

They manifest the works of the flesh daily.

On social media bios, you’ll find “Christian. Lover of God. Kingdom Youth.” But a scroll through their timelines reveals content that’s far from edifying.

The line between light and darkness is blurring.

Don’t fall into this trap.

If you’re committed to God, let your life be the evidence.

And if you’ve drifted away, make a clear decision to return wholeheartedly.

Don’t settle into the comfort of spiritual complacency—a state the enemy loves because it keeps you from the fullness of life in Christ.

Lukewarmness is advantageous to the devil.

Make spending time with God a priority.
The more you dwell in His presence, the more you will reflect His character.

Pray with purpose, study His Word with diligence, and seek His guidance in all things.

Obey Him, because obedience is the truest expression of love for God.

Your walk with Christ should be unmistakable. Stay rooted, stay committed, and let your light shine in a world desperate for the truth of God’s love.

Selah!

𝐘𝐨𝐮 𝐦𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐰𝐚𝐧𝐭 𝐭𝐨 𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬, 𝐛𝐮𝐭...

You need to.

Growth, in all its forms, demands separation.

To reach new heights in any area of your life, you have to let go of certain things.

• 𝙃𝙖𝙗𝙞𝙩𝙨.
• 𝙋𝙚𝙤𝙥𝙡𝙚.
• 𝘿𝙚𝙨𝙞𝙧𝙚𝙨.
• 𝙋𝙖𝙩𝙩𝙚𝙧𝙣𝙨.
• 𝙀𝙣𝙚𝙧𝙜𝙞𝙚𝙨.
• 𝘼𝙘𝙩𝙞𝙫𝙞𝙩𝙞𝙚𝙨.
• 𝙀𝙣𝙫𝙞𝙧𝙤𝙣𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙨.
• 𝙍𝙚𝙡𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙨𝙝𝙞𝙥𝙨.

Growth often nudges you to step back. To separate from the noise, from the familiar, from your comfort zone.

The 𝗹𝗮𝘄 𝗼𝗳 𝘀𝗲𝗽𝗮𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 teaches that to grow, you need to create distance.

It’s about stepping away from what’s holding you back.

Not about cutting ties harshly, but gently peeling away from the things that stunt your growth.

Recognize that in the space you create, there’s room for something new to flourish.

Imagine a plant, root-bound in a small pot. It needs more space to truly thrive.

We’re the same. We need room to stretch, to explore new soil, to breathe in fresh air.

And no, separation isn’t isolation. It’s about recalibrating.

Finding time to listen to your inner voice, without the constant chatter of the world.

In that silence, in that solitude, true growth happens.

It might feel lonely at first. That’s okay.
Growth often feels uncomfortable.

But as you fill this new space with what nurtures you, you’ll realize this separation was necessary.

It was a step toward something greater, something more aligned with who you are becoming.

Embrace separation. See it not as a loss, but as a gift.
A gift of space, clarity, and new beginnings.

In this space, you’ll find the strength to grow, the courage to evolve, and the wisdom to recognize what truly deserves your energy.

Trust that in this separation, you’re making room for a more authentic version of yourself to bloom.

Let me share the unwarranted, most-undeserved torture I put myself through last night.

I plugged in my phone to charge, but it just wouldn’t charge.

I kept unplugging and replugging the charger, and it became a tedious cycle.

Frustrated, I took a break and wondered, “Why isn’t my phone charging?”

Could it be that my phone’s charging port is bad? Unlikely!
My charger? I doubted it! Or... could it be the socket? No way! I used it a while ago.

So, what could be the reason? I glanced around thoughtfully and alas! the socket wasn’t turned on.

I’d never have guessed because I usually leave it on, but apparently, someone turned it off because the socket needed a break.😄

So far, I’ve had several experiences that point to the fact that a lot depends on realisation.

You’ve been doing everything in the ‘book’, but it’s not yielding the results you hoped for.

You pray, fast, study, and do not forsake the gathering of your brethren, yet God seems unreachable like the Nigerian police when you call them in times of trouble.🤐

Maybe there’s something you’re yet to realize, and your desire seems to be dependent on it.

A lot depends on realization.

It doesn’t just happen. Realization is a product of reflection—little wonder they have the same last name, ‘-tion’.😉

If you don’t spend time to think deeply, ask questions, seek answers, and gain understanding, the realization you need to forge ahead might never come to light.

I think a more metaphorical and visual way to describe realization is — “light bulb moment.”

I love the Yoruba proverb that is loosely translated: “When a person is REFLECTIVE, he/she will always be grateful.”

Enough said.

Anyway, I’m still unhappy about the 20 minutes of my life I wasted plugging and unplugging my charger while the socket was off.

And if my fingers could hurt so much from that, I can only imagine the pain my phone’s charging port felt!

Oh wait, it’s not a living thing—another realization!😄

Good morning❤️

Just a friendly reminder: God’s plan is way more epic than anything you could possibly imagine!

Now, take a moment and read these slowly👇🏾

🔸 God can use anyone. Never underestimate anyone.

🔸 Setbacks might be setups for your greatest story.

🔸 Trust God. He can amplify your tiniest effort.

🔸 Take risks. Your courage might change everything.

Happy Sunday😊

Let me sell this understanding to you, please pay with attention.

Do you know what it’s like to wait in a long line without knowing when you’ll reach the front?

It’s tough, right? Yes, waiting is tough!

Whether it’s waiting for answers to long-standing prayers, results from an endeavor, the materialization of a desire or need, or just for things to fall into place, the waiting period can feel like forever.

We pray, hope, and look for signs, but sometimes it feels like nothing’s happening.

Patience wears thin, doubts creep in, and we wonder if our prayers are even heard, let alone answered.

It’s frustrating, and it can make us feel lost or forgotten.

Here’s the secret: the waiting period isn’t just about killing time.

It’s a season for reflection and growth.

While you wait, do the following;

1️⃣ Strengthen your faith/ trust in God
2️⃣ Be genuinely happy for others
3️⃣ Improve old craft, learn new skills
4️⃣ Explore new opportunities outside your comfort zone

Finally, focus on what you can control—your mindset and actions.

Stay positive, stay proactive, and trust that every delay has a purpose.

Remember, God’s timing is perfect, even when it doesn’t match our own plans.

Happy Sunday, Fam❤️

I saw a video recently where a lady was telling her followers to “learn to thank God for the little things.”

I thought, “That’s right!”

But as I watched, she listed these little things: the air in your lungs, your kidneys, a loving family, the ability to move, a roof over your head…

Then I asked myself, what are the “big” things we should thank God for?

Cars?
Money?
Houses?

It’s disappointing how little appreciation people have for these “little things.”

Even in some churches, people rarely come forward to thank God for the air they breathe, their family’s love, or their health and peace of mind.

Instead, it’s all about their business, a new job, marriage, visa, or victory over witches and wizards.

We forget that these “little things” are the reasons we can achieve the supposed “big things.”

1 Thessalonians 5:18 says: “In everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.”

Categorizing what to thank God for is just silly, no apologies😐

Thank God for everything, in every situation, period!

Happy Sunday❤️

Let me share a personal story of “if you don’t use it, you lose it.”

Back in the day, after completing secondary school, I sat for my first JAMB exam.

It got me university admission but not the course I wanted.

I was set on Mass Communication, and eventually, I did study it.

During that time, I found myself at a crossroads.

Unhappy but determined, I decided to learn practical skills during my wait.

I learned how to make chemical products like bar soap, detergent, antiseptic, insecticides, shampoo, and paint. I even ventured into baking.

These skills kept me busy and productive while waiting to sit for the next JAMB exam.

Well, the next exam still didn’t produce the course I wanted. I stayed home for another year.

By the end of that year, I started learning to sew. I signed up for fashion design training.

It was challenging, but I had a very good boss. She was skilled and a great person.

The following year, the University of Calabar offered me admission to study Theatre Arts, which I accepted.

UNN also offered me Sociology in the same year but I didn’t take it.

Before heading off to UNICAL, I was already sewing for my siblings, my little cousin, and even my aunt.

I was grateful for the opportunity to be productive, using every scrap of fabric I could find.

However, once at university, I forgot all about my tailoring skills.

Fast forward a few years later, my ex-colleagues from the fashion design training are now experts.

Meanwhile, I can barely adjust an outfit on a sewing machine.😆

The little I had learned before university, evaporated because I didn’t engage it.

The moral of the story is simple…

Whatever talent, passion, or skill you have, engage it.

Engage them fully and continuously, because if you don’t, you risk losing them.

Use them boldly, nurture them, and watch them flourish.

Engaging your talents, gifts, and skills ensures you maximize your potential and continue to grow.

Someone recently asked me, “What’s your favorite thing about writing?”

I spent the entire day pondering the question and my response.

Writing is my happy place. It’s where I find peace and excitement.

Let me tell you why…

First, I love the freedom.
Writing lets me explore any idea.
No limits, just creativity.

Writing is a great way to express myself.
I can pour out my heart. It’s like therapy.

I enjoy the challenge of finding the right words. It feels like solving a puzzle.
When it fits, it’s magic.

I love research. Exploring new topics is fun.
I learn something new every time.

Writing connects me to others. My words can inspire someone, hopefully in a positive way.
It feels rewarding.

I love editing. Making a piece better is satisfying. It’s like polishing a gem.

I enjoy the solitude.
Writing is my time alone.
It’s peaceful and reflective.

I love the finished product. Seeing my thoughts on paper is amazing. It’s my creation.

Writing gives me purpose.
It’s a way to leave a mark.
My words can last forever.

These are my favorite things about writing. Each one makes it special.

Writing is a journey, and I love every step.🤭

P.S: I find it much more soothing to write on paper with a pen than to type on a computer. Maybe I’m just an old soul.🙊

I’ve been stuck on a particular module of a course I started for weeks now.

This module, unlike the previous ones, is quite complex, so what did I do?

I abandoned it and it’s been over six weeks now.

The sad thing is, I couldn’t continue with the other modules because I need to grasp this one before moving forward.

Yesterday, as I sat on the couch, feeling slightly overwhelmed, and resisting the urge to ingest more sugar into my system, I remembered the course.

I’ve been stress-eating in the last five days (sorry, I digressed).

I remembered how I promised myself that I would start and finish the course in a few months.

I remembered the goals I set and the strategies to achieve them.

I remembered the mental picture I had of me basking in the joy of completing that course.

I remembered how I imagined it would expand my wealth of knowledge, boost my confidence, my personality, my résumé, and potentially increase my earning capacity.

However, none of that has materialised because I’ve gave up on myself.

I gave up on my ability to cross that huddle.

I got stuck and that’s okay.

What’s ‘unokay’ is that I remained stuck.

The reality is, you cannot overcome a challenge by avoidance.

You can’t practice social distancing with your challenges.

If you avoid that challenge for 1000 years, it wouldn’t change a thing about it.

It wouldn’t make the challenge disappear or solve itself.

This applies to challenges across the different aspect of our lives.

If you don’t tackle it heads on, it’d be right there staring you in the face while you waste time.

The consequences of running away from challenges is not one you should give chance to.

Well, I’ve gone back to my course because it’s not insurmountable.

I’m determined to explore all available resources to overcome it.

I don’t care how long it’d take, I don’t care how much time, focus and determination I’ll have to invest, I just have to crack this one.

Not for any other reason, but for the fact that I have all it takes to do so.

And WHEN I succeed, I’ll have the last laugh.

Alright, time to get back to studying! Bye!

28/04/2024

Letting go is the art of releasing the weights that hold us back, the chains that bind us to the past, and the shackles that limit our potential.

It’s the courage to surrender, to release the grip on what’s no longer serving us, and to embrace the unknown.

Holding on is easy, it’s comfortable, it’s familiar.
But it’s also suffocating, it’s heavy, and it’s debilitating.

When we hold on to grudges, fears, and doubts, we become prisoners of our minds.
We become stuck in a cycle of pain, regret, and longing.

Letting go is liberating.

It’s the freedom to move forward, to explore new horizons, and to discover new possibilities.

It’s the power to create space for growth, for love, and for joy.

When we let go, we open ourselves up to new experiences, new relationships, and new opportunities.

But letting go is not easy. It takes courage, strength, and resilience.

It takes willingness to confront our fears, to face our doubts, and to challenge our limitations.

It takes trust in ourselves, in others, and in God.

So, let go of the past, let go of the pain, and let go of the fear.

Let go of the need to control, to manipulate, and to dominate.

Let go of the ego, the pride, and the arrogance.

Let go of the weights that hold you back, and embrace the freedom that awaits you.

Remember, letting go is not losing, it’s winning.

It’s the victory over our limitations, doubts, and fears.

It’s the triumph of the human spirit, the resilience of the heart, and the power of the soul.

So, let go, and let live.
Let go, and let love.
Let go, and let freedom ring.

Truly, some of our challenges as a nation are not from the “Nigerian politicians” because come to think of it…

These politicians didn't emerge out of thin air; they were born and raised in our communities, products of our Nigerian/African family upbringing.

Today, I remembered one experience I had in February, aboard a bus.

A passenger had give the conductor a ₦1000 note, expecting ₦700 in return.

She kept asking for him for her balance until she eventually kept quiet following an aggressive response.

At some point, the conductor charged at her, “Madam, wetin happen!? shey I dey run? I say I go give you your change!“

Calmly, she said, "oga no vex, na the only money with me be that and I no wan forget the change."

Well, after a while in Lagos traffic, we got to her stop since the conductor started calling bus stops and she said "owa".

Aunty got off the bus and did not remember to collect her balance but me that couldn't mind my business since I heard her say it was the only cash with her, called her attention to it.

"Sis, your change!"

Oh, she immediately faced the conductor and mind you, she had already gotten off the bus.

The driver was already about to move before she yelled; "give me my change nau!!!"

The conductor immediately threw her N700 balance at her and the driver zoomed off.

Then guess what!

He faced me.

In that moment, I became the target of his ire, hurling insults at me.

He accused me of being a busybody, asking if that act made me a good person.

I couldn't say a word.

I knew she had forgotten the balance, and I innocently thought the conductor had also forgotten to give it to her.

There was no way I'd have known it was deliberate.

He had the exact balance to give her, but he held back, hoping she’d forget like she predicted.

And for reminding her, I became the bad person.

I became the weapon fashioned against him.

Apparently, that N700 was like a lifeline for him, possibly a ticket out of poverty, but I had busy-bodily disrupted his chance at a better life.

I just thought to myself; some people in this country deserve the exact kind of leaders we have.

Dishonest, stone-hearted, personal-aggrandising people deserve the same as their leaders.

If Mr. Conductor were to venture into politics, do you think he'd automatically embrace honesty and integrity?

Stop playing!

Some individuals in our society are content with perpetuating dishonesty and exploitation, traits mirrored by certain leaders.

I say "some" because there are those of us who while we are not claiming to be saints, just "obidients" are trying our best possible to make life easier for ourselves, and those around us.

Meanwhile, the lady collected her balance and left me with that mean conductor😢

He even questioned why I called her “Sis”.

“Na your sister? You know am before?”

Interestingly, no one said a word to him on the bus.

Mean people everywhere😂

This was me by the time I got off the bus👇🏾

And yes, if I find myself in a similar situation again, I still won’t mind my business😉

Dear young person,

At some point, we all have to make tough decisions to change our lives and grow.

Some people make these decisions early, while others take more time, and some may never make them at all.

But what’s important is that whenever we make that decision, it’s a step forward.

So, no pressure but at some point;

You have to decide to make the hard choices.

You have to decide to embrace discomfort for the sake of progress.

You have to decide to prioritize your well-being over temporary comfort.

You have to decide to let go of what’s holding you back, even if it’s familiar.

You have to decide to take out “quitting” from your dictionary.

You have to decide to stand up for yourself and your dreams.

You have to decide to believe in your potential, even when doubt creeps in.

You have to decide to invest in your personal growth, even if it means sacrificing short-term pleasures.

You have to decide to surround yourself with positivity and support, letting go of toxic influences.

You have to decide to keep moving forward, even when the path seems uncertain.

You have to decide to be the architect of your destiny, shaping it with each deliberate choice.

You have to decide to bet on yourself, knowing that the journey of change is worth every challenge and sacrifice.

And you know what?

No one else can make that decision for you.

You simply have to decide for yourself, by yourself.

It’s all up to you!

Good morning!

Verbal abuse is just as damaging as physical abuse, if not more so.

Many stay in emotionally abusive relationships, making excuses because there are no visible bruises.

Sure, he doesn't hit you but he constantly diminishes you with his insults and belittling remarks.

He blames his anger, avoids taking responsibility, and never apologizes, but you convince yourself it's better than enduring physical harm.

She doesn't cheat, but she constantly invalidates you, finds fault, and compares you to others.

Imagine living in constant fear of your partner's judgement!

Your self-worth diminishes, your confidence crumbles, and your mental health deteriorates.

You desperately seek validation from someone who doesn't value you, becoming increasingly needy and paranoid.

Despite your desire to leave, your self-respect wanes, leaving you feeling trapped in a cycle of doubt.

Will anyone ever love you for who you truly are?

Will you ever find happiness anywhere else?

What if the future ends up being worse than what I'm going through right now?

I want to leave, but I don’t know how!

You long to break free, yet feel powerless to do so.

But with the last bit of courage within you, I urge you to walk away.

Sorry, run away from the toxicity.

No, don’t look back!
You’d turn to a pillar of regret and shame.

No, don’t look back. I don't want you to become a symbol of misery.

Do not even think about who is going to accept you and love you when you leave.

Focus on yourself, on accepting and loving who you are.

Prioritise self-care, self-love, and intentional living.

It's about you, not anyone else.

So, get you out of there.

Escape, heal, and evolve into the person you were meant to be.

And remember, when respect is no longer on the table, that’s your cue to get out of there.

Sending you ❤ & 💡

I’m officially tired! I’m done!

Well, that’s what happens when the focus is on the outcome not the process.

My experiences so far have taught me that life is about the steps you take, not just the finish line.

Here’s why:

🟠 Growth happens along the way: Every challenge, every setback is a chance to learn, to evolve, to become stronger.

🟠 Enjoy the present moment: Don’t rush through life chasing goals. Pause, breathe, soak in the beauty of the process.

🟠 Find fulfillment in progress: It’s not just about reaching the end goal, but about the progress you make each day. Are you improving as a person?

🟠 Build resilience: Loving the process teaches you to weather storms, to keep going even when the path gets tough.

And guess what!? It’ll get tough many times. So, what’s it gonna be for you?

🟠 Create lasting happiness: True fulfillment comes from finding joy in the journey, not just the outcome.

So, embrace your process with open arms like you would your lover😉

Focus on the journey not just the destination.

Happy Friday!

02/04/2024

Have you heard the saying “don’t chase, just attract” before?

Well, in the order of life, nothing happens automatically.

Everything of value goes through a process.

If it must stand the test of time, it has to be process-refined.

It’s a principle.

So, before you start attracting value, you must have chased after it.

Before you start attracting the right attention, you must have given yourself the right attention.

People with problems seek people with solutions.

Are you self-disciplined?

What problems can you solve?

Are you open-minded and adaptable?

Can you lead if put in a leadership position?

Have you improved your communication skills to a standard level?

I know you want to attract high-paying clients.

You want to increase your followership.

You desire more professional opportunities.

You want to build your network and net worth.

You want to get the attention of men and women of substance.

After all, the Bible said you shall stand before kings, but that’s if you’re diligent in your work.

“Seest thou a man diligent in his business? He shall stand before kings; he shall not stand before mean men” - Proverbs 22 : 29

Isaiah 60 : 3 also says “Nations will come to your light, And kings to the brightness of your rising.”

Nations will not come to your darkness!
Kings will not come to your fall!

They will come to your LIGHT and your RISING.

You see those things you desire? You can attract all and much more if you do the needful first.

Go work on your value magnet. Do the work.

You have all it takes!

Good morning❤️
