JKA: AN EPITOME OF QUALITY LEADERSHIP!

In the words of John Calvin Maxwell, an American Author, Speaker, and Pastor, born on February 20, 1947, having over 60 books mainly focusing on leadership to his credit, "A leader is one who knows the way, goes the way, and shows the way".

According to Napoleon Bonaparte (August 15, 1769 - May 5, 1821), a French Military and Political Leader, who rose to prominence during the later stages of the French Revolution,"A Leader is a dealer in hope".

A Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), the former member of the House of Representatives representing Abeokuta North/Obafemi Owode/Odeda Federal Constituency and two term Governorship aspirant in Ogun State who also wears the cap as the Sobaloju of Egbaland; Hon(Chief) Jelili Kayode Amusan is popularly known as 'JKA' in the political spectrum of Ogun State. JKA has in all positions occupied over the years, proved to be an exceptional leader with a knack for producing better results.

Born into the humble family of Late Alhaji Abdul-lateef Akanbi Amusan of Gbagura, Abeokuta and Alhaja Amusan, an unalloyed democrat and politician of high repute, has never left any in doubt about his capability to lead courageously and effectively right from his days as a Student Union Leader.

The Ex-federal Lawmaker can be said to have lived a fulfilled life worthy of emulation. An exemplary leader and distinguished reformer of note, the two term House of Representatives member has unarguably contributed in no small measure to the growth and sustenance of democracy, societal advancement and service to humanity in Ogun State and Nigeria as a whole.

Not born with a silver spoon in his mouth, Hon. Amusan, a great man of valor worked hard with an unmitigated determination to believe what he is today. Speaking at an occasion in Abeokuta, Ogun State Capital recently, "I do not come from a privileged background. I grew up poor. I understand how it feels to go without some meals in the day. I know the pain of lack and the agony of want. I know what it means to see your parents toil just to keep a roof over your family head. I know what it is to scrimp, save and struggle."

Hear Chuku, a Professor of Biochemistry/Molecular Biology: "Amusan is a very honest and sincere leader, frank to fault. He says things the way they are. And he is a man who loves humanity. He hates seeing people suffer. He hates seeing people in poverty. In fact, he is a man who wishes that all should be well with every human being. Even when you are his enemy, he will wish you well. He does not like seeing anybody in agony. And he is a ruthless fighter of criminality. He does not tolerate ignorance. He does not tolerate indolence because he is a very hardworking man. He is the leader of the first order".

Hon(Chief) Jelili Kayode Amusan is a forthright person, focused, and willing to take risks for the common good. He has an uncommon courage to tackle any challenge, and is a sticker for excellence.

Furthermore, he believes in, and works towards an equitable society where all citizens have a common heritage in their common wealth. Scripture says by their fruits we shall know them and Amusan 's strides in pro-poor development programs as a former Federal Lawmaker and a Chieftain of APC in Ogun State are evidence of his disposition towards equity in society. JKA is a leader's leader.

JKA is a tireless person. We do not know where he drives his energy from. Maybe because he is a young man. He is indeed a good listener and performer.

JKA MOURNS - IPERU-REMO HAS LOST A DARLING MONARCH!

A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress(APC),the former member of the House of Representatives representing Abeokuta North/Obafemi Owode/Odeda Federal Constituency and two times Governorship aspirant in Ogun State and who also wears the cap as the Sobaloju of Egbaland, Hon(Chief) Jelili Kayode Amusan is popularly known as 'JKA',has commiserated with the people of Iperu-Remo, Ogun State over the demise of His Royal Majesty, Oba Adeleke Idowu Basibo.

JKA in a statement issued through his media office, has lost a darling monarch, praying God to repose the soul of the departed Kabiyesi.

“I joined other Nigerians to mourn the demise of the revered Oba Basibo, Alaperu of Iperu-Remo. Though he died at a ripe age of 67 at the Babcock Hospital.

“Though his reign was short, it was characterized by many developmental strides as he attracted many investors to the ancient town".

“I commiserate with the family, the people of Iperu-Remo and Ogun State Government over this unfortunate loss. May God give us the fortitude to bear the loss and grant the departed monarch eternal rest".

PRESS REJOINDER: CLARIFICATION OF INACCURATE HEADLINE.

Our attention has been drawn to recent false, malicious, misleading reports in the media and social media platforms with a headline --- "Ogun APC Stakeholder's Opt for Amusan 's Candidacy published on January 29, 2025 by the Independent Newspaper". This was just a wishful thinking of the writer who dropped this in a media parley in Abeokuta which does not emanate through the media office of Hon. Jelili Kayode Amusan. He does this at his own peril because he does not have the local-standi to speak for our political organization.

We categorically state that these claims are untrue and we urge the public to disregard them in their entirety.

Hon. Jelili Kayode Amusan is a law abiding citizen who strongly believes in the will of Almighty Allah and always works in tandem with the ethos and principles of All Progressives Congress (APC), and supremacy of the party's decisions is dearing to his heart. Therefore the media release was presented to suit a particular purpose best known to those that authored/sponsored it. It should, however, be noted that the obvious game plan is to discredit our principal.

Hon. Jelili Kayode Amusan, popularly known as 'JKA' in the political spectrum of Ogun State is unperturbed by this machination. For the avoidance of doubt, let it be noted that JKA is politically grounded and above these petty antics.
