© Hello! Yes! You.I am referring to you.
Time is not on your side I know
So I will just have a word with you
Maybe I know something you need to know
Life as I see it, is a series of events to be experienced
And not horror scenes to be feared.

© Wait a second! What is that I see in your eyes
So you too could live in fear?
The same fear you created
Don't tell me your eyes could still drop a tear
So with all your gains, you still writh in pains?
Oh! How are the mighty humbled!
Wrongly so I thought

© I don't envy your affluence
Even as my kinds celebrate your downfall
You control your fall with influence
Well, I don't even know what it means to stand at all.
Oh no ooo! I can't seem to control my emotions
I'm betrayed by my own tears
which flows into each other like confluence

© You have to run along,
to the comfort of your magnificent edifice
Your family needs you now more than ever before,
to slip into the warmth of their affectionate embrace
You enjoy the security of family ties
I remain here in frightening solitude
The street is no longer safe
This same street that boomed with life
Now left for dead
I must confess my Joy,
as I watch you go about your daily routines but not anymore.

© At night you sleep and snore
In my own case it's a No
Each time I try to catch some sleep
It slips through my eyes due to the terrors of the night
Beings of the dark have become my companion
They sing me sorrowful lullaby,
that lulls me instead to stay wide awake
So much pains, my whole body aches.

© I'm constantly surrounded by fear and fright
Should I remain here or maybe I should take flight
My entire life has been a total blight
Pardon me, I do not wish to bother you with my plight
Don't be moved with pity for me
I only want to send a message
A message of doom, danger looms
But do not worry about me
I am completely fine
Atleast, that is what I say
to avoid having to explain why I am not
You sleep with your two eyes closed and your windows open
I sleep with my heart shut, I numbered my days short
I live a vulnerable life
Vulnerable to the hazards of nature's cruelty
Joy they say comes in the morning
Little did I know I must first survive the night
Unfortunately, I don't have a morning
I have lived all my life in mourning
I live day and night in total darkness
I don't even know what it means to be shown kindness
So I ask after life, what next?

© A lifeless body they say feels no pain
Let death be my bodies guest
to accompany it to the great beyond
Mother earth was never my home
I starve daily from lack of food
I can't even remember my own childhood
I became old the very moment I was born
My soul left this body a long time ago
I'm just a wandering carcass.

© Mother, why did you bring me to this hell you call a home
I'm better off above the sky
You deceived me, Why?
Why did you choose to conceive me?
Have you forgotten whence above you came
And to my spirit adopt
You saw for yourself
How we sing with one voice to the throne being
What do I hear down here
Cacophonous and discordant tunes. Shhh!!!
"BE STILL AND KNOW THAT I AM GOD"
Ohh! Who can still the turbulence inside of me?
My mind is too active for my body to be still
But I still smile to get so many tears concealed

I have been locked in this nature imposed bo***ge since birth
You will regain your freedom after 7 days
I will remain here even after 70×7 years
I am just a harmless child growing fast into a violent youth
Then into a wretched adult
Will you come to my aid or watch me go through this process?
I doubt, as I have nothing to offer
You completely denied me the hope you could offer
You want to claim all the titles the world could confer
Your titles mean nothing to me
After all, after life, we do not difer

© I have lost faith in everything
I used to be fat from birth
See how fast I have grown thin
I cried so much as an infant
Why am I crying still?
When they say time will heal everything
No one to wipe my tears
Even the whole world weeps

© When Corona seized the crown
And assume the throne of humanity
We almost lost our sanity
Although we died of many other diseases and viruses
Only Covid'19 stole the spot light due to its market value
The government gave us reasons to fear
Religion and Science seemed to fail us
But I know of a being above who never fails
Let his home be my home
For death is a proven therapy to the pains of life
May My Gentle Soul find Rest in its maker.
