Our House Gate Fell off as a result of Heavy Rain and Breeze

Boltos, This morning Landlord came with a Bill of 30 k to each tenant for the repair and Fixing of the Gate

Pls, Boltos what am i supposed to do

My Reply;

Don't pay

It's basically the Landlord's Full responsibility to fix external Repairs in the apartment.

You can only pay if the Landlord Agrees to to pay back or signs a written or recorded verbal agreement that you should deduct the money from your next rent.

Anything apart from this

Don't pay

Ignorance of the law is not an excuse
