WE APPRECIATE OUR FORMER PRESENTERS

It is no longer news that some notable staff presenters of Fresh FM Nigeria have taken their exits from the esteemed group of radio communication outfits. Indeed, they have left for other businesses and professional endeavours.

In this regard, Babatunde Saheed (Mr. Sport), Oyetayo Oladimeji (Mc Handsome), Adesina Jagunmade (Paj 1) and Akinwale Fasasi (Wiseman), have all left our platform.

The Board and Management consider this, a natural reality any organization could go through in the usually competitive corporate journey.

It is not in the character of Fresh FM Nigeria to hold down or hold back anyone who desires to leave the company, after all, no one is expected to work with a company forever, not even the Founder.

It is, however, heartwarming to note that none of the presenters who recently left Fresh FM Nigeria did so with any form of acrimony or chaos.

The Chairman/CEO, Dr. Yinka Ayefele (MON), views such exits as a necessary phenomenon and a natural cause of action for the peace and progress of a worker/professional, especially for those who left the company and for the Fresh FM Brand itself.

Even as it could be said that no one is indispensable, we can categorically say that those who just left the company would be missed in their areas of expertise and influence, because of their positive contributions to the meteoric rise of the Fresh FM brand since its inception in 2015. That is why the company is extending the best of wishes to them as they journey into new business and professional environments.

Dr. Ayefele, therefore, expresses his heartfelt appreciation to them for heartily believing and energetically keying into his vision of making Fresh FM, the King of the Southwest among the multitude of radio stations.

It is also Dr. Ayefele's wish that those who left would find peace, progress, good fortunes and contentment. He further urges them to maintain their core values of diligence, loyalty and focus.

Moving forward, Dr. Ayefele is pleased to inform esteemed lovers of the Fresh FM brand and the general public that their darling stations; Fresh FM Ibadan, Abeokuta, Ado Ekiti, Osogbo, Lagos and Akure, as well as Blast FM and Tiwa-n-tiwa FM in Ibadan, shall continue to wax stronger with irresistible contents from professionally - endowed producers and presenters, through pleasing programming. It's in our DNA to be the best among equals.

He adds that Fresh FM listeners should look forward to a 2024 that will usher in unequalled growth, enviable expansion, and all-around prosperity for Fresh FM Nigeria and Yinka Ayefele Limited.

Rebuttal to "WHY PRESENTERS ARE LEAVING AYEFELE'S FRESH FM, IBADAN?"

About an hour ago, I came across some concerns raised in a recent article regarding presenters leaving Fresh 105.9 FM, Ibadan, and would like to provide clarifications on the points raised. I would like to state that this is from my own personal experience as a staff of Fresh FM Nigeria and not an official rebuttal.

Competitive Remuneration:
Fresh FM Nigeria, under the leadership of Yinka Ayefele, is known for being one of the highest paying radio stations in Oyo State. The remuneration packages offered are competitive and reflect the station's commitment to recognizing and rewarding the talent and efforts of its presenters.

Technology for Remote Broadcasting:
Presenters anchoring programs in different states are not required to travel extensively. We utilize advanced broadcasting technology that allows presenters to transmit seamlessly from the Ibadan studio to various locations nationwide. This ensures efficient operations without placing an undue burden on presenters. Once in a while, the presenter can decide to travel to the stations in other states. This happens maybe just once in a quarter. I, for example present at Fresh FM Abeokuta and I have never stepped my feet on the Abeokuta Station ever. Therefore, the notion that presenters have to travel up and down the various states is an unsubstantiated ones.

Economic Challenges Nationwide:
The challenges mentioned, particularly related to transportation costs, are not unique to Fresh FM. The current inflation and the rise in the cost of living affect individuals across various industries. This is something felt by all, including the people reading this right now.

Support for Side Businesses:
Yinka Ayefele actively encourages and supports team members who choose to engage in separate business ventures alongside their employment at Fresh FM. I have seen this countless number of times and I have heard him boast of being the CEO of CEOs. This demonstrates a commitment to the personal and professional growth of his staff.

Normal Industry Movement:
It's important to note that movement of presenters within the radio industry is a common occurrence. Such transitions are often driven by personal reasons, career aspirations, and professional relationships rather than any perceived shortcomings of the former employer.

Stability of Fresh FM:
Despite the establishment of new radio stations, Fresh FM has maintained its standing and reputation. If presenters were facing insurmountable challenges, why have they not migrated to these newer stations over the years? This supports my previous point. Movement in the industry are more about personal aspirations and professional relationships.

Reality of Radio Industry Pay:
In the radio industry, the true worth of a presenter often extends beyond the salary provided by the station. Presenters have the opportunity to leverage their platform to secure additional income through various avenues, and Fresh FM actively encourages and facilitates such opportunities.

In conclusion, I personally see Fresh FM as a station that is committed to the well-being and professional growth of its team members. The challenges mentioned in the article are part of broader industry dynamics and should be understood in the context of the wider economic landscape.
