Let's look at this together...
If the cupbearer had spoken to Pharaoh about Joseph immediately he was restored back to his position and Joseph was released, Joseph would have mostly likely gone back home to see his family again, right? Right!
Now if that had happened, who would have told Pharaoh the interpretation of his dream?
How would Joseph be elevated to the office of a prime minister?
How would have the world be able to survive the seven years of famine, since there would have been no adequate preparation?
God knew how things were likely to turn out if He allowed the cupbearer to remember Joseph immediately, that's why He made the cupbearer forget Joseph.
When things don't happen the way you expect or you think is the best way to go about a particular situation, getting angry and complaining is not you should do.
If it didn't work out the way you expected, that means God has something better in mind.
Don't you want God's will to be done in your life?
If you want His will to be done in your life, then rest in God, rely on Him and trust Him to bring you to the perfect end.
Also, if someone disappoints you, that is not the time to keep grudges, yes it might hurt, but just what if it is part of God's agenda?
Yes, we know that if the cupbearer had spoken earlier, it would have been seen as, it was the cupbearer that saved him and so God didn't want any man to share in His glory, but not just that, it was also for Joseph's good, if he was released then, he wouldn't have been a prime minister because there was no need for that as that time, he would have gone back to his home, famine would have hit Egypt unprepared and the world would have been starving including Joseph's family, so you know what, just stay with God, allow Him to do His thing, He knows what you don't know, don't use your limited sight to stop God's hand.
God knows what He is doing.
SEE YOU, SEE YOUR TESTIMONY.
Blessings!
