"If Adelita left with someone else"...
Adela worked in a famous circus in Mexico at the time of the Revolution, she, along with her boyfriend, were the biggest attraction of that show. The girl was standing against a wall with her limbs open and her boyfriend, who was blind, was throwing knives around her, sticking close to her body, but never hurting the beautiful model. Over time the fame was so much that jealousy appeared.
They should pay me more.
said the young knife thrower
—. I am the main attraction of the circus. I have superhuman qualities. I also demand greater comforts.
"He understands that the country's situation is not ready to pay more," the circus owner refuted. We are in the middle of a conflict.
"If you don't grant what I ask, I'm leaving." A Chinese circus had their eye on me a while back.
-Well. But we will make adjustments. Maybe we could cut your girlfriend's salary to pay you more.
“Okay, plus she doesn't do anything.
She simply puts her body and I do the magic with my knives.
Having said the above, the circus owner informed Adela of the new salary adjustments. She did not agree.
"It can't be," she said. I risk my life for him because I love him. I need the money.
—He agreed, Adela.
"It can't be," she said.
-You accept. It will be easy to find another girl to put on her pretty figure… I think even for less money.
-No, thanks.
Adela took the first train and left. The following week, they found another woman. The young man threw the first dagger against the girl, which embedded itself in her heart. The model died instantly.
-Killer! the girl's father yelled. You said you had special Powers and nothing would happen.
The townspeople lynched the knife thrower along with the circus owner. What nobody knew was that Adela had special powers, with which she could deflect metallic objects. She was the creator of the fame of her ex-boyfriend. Adela joined the Mexican Revolution. She was in charge of diverting the bullets whose objective was to reach a certain Pancho Villa, stories that are told out there.
