Atiku, others for book presentation on security and economy in Abuja

A Book on Human Entrepreneurship and Economic Security, is billed for Public Presentation in Abuja, on Tuesday.

Former Head of State, General Abdulsalami Abubakar (Rtd) as Chairman of the Occasion, Reverend Mother Esther Abimbola-Ajayi, African most generous philanthropist, as Mother of the Day, Emir of Kaura Namoda, Major Sanusi Muhammad Ahmad (Rtd); billionaire global Brand Leader and Entrepreneur, Ramesh Shantilal Kasangra, billionaire and philanthropist, Arthur Eze, and Chief Obi Cubana, Chief Launcher and co-launchers respectively, as other prominent captains of industry in the oil and gas sector, are set to grace the momentous occasion.

The launch which x-ray’s the ‘Chief Dr. Best man Paul Anekwe model’ is billed for January 17, 2023, in Abuja.
Dr Bestman Anekwe is the chairman and founder NIPCO PLC and former National President IPMAN and National leader IPMAN. The book presentation will also pull distinguished dignitaries like all past Heads of State of Nigeria; the Oba of Lagos amongst others.

Also expected are the leading candidates for the 2023 presidential elections. The top-running presidential candidates at the forthcoming 2023 general elections People’s Democratic Party’s Atiku Abubakar, All Progressive’s Congress Asiwaju Ahmed Tinubu and Labour Party’s Peter Obi, Hamza Al-Mustapha, as well as other Presidential candidates.

His Imperial Majesty, Oba Frederick Obateru, Chairman and Founder, OBAT OIL; the Etsu Nupe, Ona Of Abaji; and the Group Executive Director corporate services, NIPCO PLC, Alhaji Aminu Abdulkadir (Wali Adamawa), and all past heads of state.

The book will be reviewed by Prof Mercy Ada Anyiwe, of the University of Benin.

1. No manual accreditation.

2. No use of incident forms.

3. All accreditation is electronic.

4. Accreditation is Bimodal meaning facial recognition and finger printing.

5. No pre-election cases after conclusion of Elections..

6. No election cases after swearing into office of the winner.

7. All results must be uploaded to INEC official website at the polling units before taking it to ward, constituency, LGA or state collation centers.

8. If the number of votes cast is more than the accredited voters the polling unit result is cancelled.

9. No more agreement between parties to share the remaining ballot papers that were not used.

10. No more massive thump printing and stuffing of ballot boxes. If you like go and steal ballot boxes you are wasting your time. You cannot change the result.

The people's votes are counting now. If you didn't serve the people well when in public office or you are not popular in your political locality, it is advisable to save your money because they will collect your money and vote against you.

End of ballots snatching has come to stay in Nigeria. With the amendment of Nigeria Electoral Act, our votes now counts.

BUHARI AND PEACE ACCORD.
I read President Muhammadu Buhari commended the Peace Committee headed by the former Head of State Gen Abdulsalam Abubakar and said the Peace accord he signed with former President Goodluck Jonathan in 2015 led to peaceful election. I don't think the President is aware of the security situation in the country. That peace accord only postponed the evil days. Since he became President Nigeria has not known peace.

MEDICAL OUTREACH TO NAZE COMMUNITY IN OWEERI NORTH LGA, IMO STATE

The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) established in 1973 has played a pivotal role in national cohesion and progress of Nigeria through diligent service of the corps to humanity. To enable corp members get the best out of their service year, they have to worked diligently and meticulously through the four cardinal programmes of the scheme namely; the orientation course, primary assignment, community development service and winding up exercise.
In the bid to contribute his quota to the growth of his host community, Dr. Victor Embugushiki from Nasaraawa State decided to initiate and execute, through the help of his donors, host community, members and staff of his place of primary assignment, a free medical outreach in Naze community of Owerri North LGA, Imo State. He sourced all donations from aforementioned groups of people with none from personal funds.
The corp member who is part of 2021 batch C stream 2 with state code IM/21C/2555 stated that the motivation for this project came from the observations he made. There are health inequalities particularly among women and children and a high demand for healthcare services among under-five children, pregnant women and nursing mothers. In addition, chronic illnesses like hypertension and diabetes are poorly managed. However, this huge demand is not catered for adequately because of a deficit in health manpower and material resources, resulting in a high disease burden, mismanagement of patients by unskilled personnel, and reduction in the quality of life.
The project which held on the 22nd of September, 2022 educated, diagnosed and treated people with medical illnesses, catered for pregnant women and promoted general healthy living. In addition, patients with chronic illnesses and surgical conditions were referred appropriately for follow-up and advanced medical care.

-Free antenatal care
