The 73-year-old actor, in his lifetime, was well known in the contemporary Yoruba theatre industry.
The news of his death was announced by fellow actor, Saidi Balogun, via his Instagram handle (), on Thursday night.
He posted Olofa Ina’s picture with a caption “Goodnight legend Chief Deji Akinremi (Olofa Ina) RIP.”

elder love season as famous Nigerian singer Salawa Abeni has decided to unveil her best-kept secret to the public.
The happy wife and grandma decided to reveal Rasheed Adahunse as the man behind her smile. She made the disclosure over the weekend in Lagos.

Yoruba Nollywood actor, Yomi Fabiyi has tendered a deep apology to Yul Edochie over his outburst on celebrities and Nigerians.
we reported that Yul Edochie had unleashed his fury at Nollywood celebrities and Nigerians over their hypocrisy.
In the wake of Mohbad’s death, the actor noted how many have been clout-chasing with the singer’s name, yet have been doing worse to him.
According to him, the same bullying that was done to Mohbad is the same bullying many of his colleagues and internet trolls have been doing to him, without hearing his side of the story.
Reacting to it, Yomi Fabiyi in a lengthy post on his Instagram page apologised to Yul as he revealed that his conscience has been pricking him.
He stated that he feels the pain in Yul’s words, and salutes him for his courage, as he advised him to seek wisdom from God to deal with his fans, family members, and the media.

Gen. Sani Abacha attended the Nigerian Military Training College and Mons Officer Cadet School before being commissioned as a 2nd lieutenant in 1963.
His military career is distinguished by a string of successful coups.
He is by some records the most successful coup plotter in the history of Nigeria's military.
Abacha, then a 2nd Lieutenant with the 3rd Battalion in Kaduna, took part in the July 1966 Nigerian counter-coup from the conceptual stage.
He may have been a participant in the Lagos or Abeokuta phases of the coup the previous Januaryas well.
He was also a prominent figure in the 1983 Nigerian coup d'état which brought General Muhammadu Buhari to power and the August 1985 coup which removed Buhari from power.
When General Ibrahim Babangida was named President and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the Federal Republic of Nigeria in 1985, Abacha was named Chief of Army Staff.
He was appointed Minister of Defence in 1990.

On getting to the state house on Monday morning, the Deputy Governor met the gate locked with chain and padlock.

The calls and comment on my page are aimed at forcing me to a negotiation table to become a victim of blackmail.
For the records, the said video is a video I made and sent to my doctor when I complained about XYZ in my private part. I couldn’t go to my doctor as at that time physically to I sent him a video so that he could prescribe medication for me.
The video which I made over a year now, was made via Snapchat because I hardly use it and it felt safer.
The man trying to blackmail me got access to an email I no longer use and use it to gain access into my Snapchat. He took hold of the video and has since shared it since I refused to deal.
I am putting this statement out for the records.
I will be visiting the police PRO to make a formal complain and give them the pictures of the blackmailer which I now have.

If Need Be, Mohbad's Body Can Be Exhumed For Autopsy - Lagos PPRO
The Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer, Benjamin Hundeyin, has stated that the body of late singer Oladimeji Aloba aka Mohbad can be exhumed for autopsy if the need arises.
He made this known in an Instagram live session with media personality Daddy Freeze on Thursday night.
The Force PRO, Muyiwa Adejobi, in a statement on Thursday noted that the police would probe the singer's death.
Shedding more light on the statement, Hundeyin said, "The Force PRO issued a statement this evening (Thursday) saying that investigation will commence and that's what we're going to do.
"If need be, the body will be exhumed. It's not too late. The body can be exhumed and autopsy can be performed.
"The statement also states that people should bring whatever information they have to the commissioner of police in Lagos State.
"That's because we don't want to do hierarchy anymore. Take it to Force CID, bring it to Lagos Command. It doesn't matter. We're going to harmonise it within ourselves and ensure that justice is done."
