TODAY'S MORNING SERVICE..............Matthew 9:21 (KJV) For she said within herself, If I may but touch his garment, I shall be whole.

INSPIRATION.......Having heard of the many others who were healed by Jesus of Nazareth, this woman with an issue of blood who had spent all her living on doctors and was none the better, had great faith in Jesus. She knew that but a touch of the hem of his garment, if it be a touch of faith, would instantly heal her. And she acted on this faith and found it well founded.

PRAYER.......Increase our faith, O Father. Let us have confidence in your power, wisdom, and mercy. You see our sufferings and know how long we have endured them. You feel for our infirmities and understand our every need. Let our faith rise up even in the midst of troublous times and grow the stronger when put to the test. Amen.

TODAY'S MORNING SERVICE......Mark 8:31 (KJV) And he began to teach them, that the Son of man must suffer many things, and be rejected of the elders, and of the chief priests, and scribes, and be killed, and after three days rise again.

INSPIRATION.........The Jews of Jesus' time understood about the glory of the Messianic Kingdom, but they seldom understood that the Messiah would also suffer and die for the sins of the world. When Jesus openly declared this, Peter began to rebuke him and say these things must not occur. But Jesus rebuked Peter. Jesus came into the world to be God's suffering Servant and to lay down his life as a ransom for many.

PRAYER.......O Father, you have called us to be servants and often called us to suffer. You do not allure the world with promises of health and wealth but offer us a cross. If suffering for you offends us, we are not of the right spirit of mind. Humble us, Lord, for why should we be "too good" to suffer when even your Son suffered so much? Amen.

TODAY'S MORNING SERVICE...........Isaiah 8:19 (KJV) And when they shall say unto you, Seek unto them that have familiar spirits, and unto wizards that peep, and that mutter: should not a people seek unto their God? for the living to the dead?

INSPIRATION.......Many wish to go to a multitude of other sources to find direction in life, especially in times of trouble. In Isaiah's day, many turned to wizards and those involved in the occult, and many still do today. But God's people should reject these methods and turn "to the Law and to the testimony. " (verse 20)

PRAYER.......We dare not trust the world of darkness, but we put our trust in you alone, O Lord, as our source of wisdom for life. We know that Satan himself appears like an angel of light to better deceive many, and that false religions are full of doctrines of devils and sacrifices to devils, though the participants mostly are unaware of it. Only in your Word do we find the true light that will guide us through even the most trying of times. Amen.

MORNING SERVICE.........1 Corinthians 8:8-9 (KJV) But meat commendeth us not to God: for neither, if we eat, are we the better; neither, if we eat not, are we the worse.
9 But take heed lest by any means this liberty of your's become a stumblingblock to them that are weak.

INSPIRATION........Paul addressing eating meat offered to idols. He says that the meat itself is just meat and not good or evil and that if we eat it as just meat, it is not wrong. But yet, if we do so, we will hurt the conscience of other believers and become a stumblingblock to their faith. And that is to use our liberty selfishly instead of to walk in love towards others.

PRAYER.......Today, Lord, we will not likely encounter meats offered to idols, but we know all Scripture is profitable for our instruction. If there are issues where it would not be sinful in itself to do a thing but doing it would hurt other believers or be a bad witness to the world, let us refrain from those things out of love. Amen.

TODAY'S MORNING SERVICE.........Matthew 7:28-29 (KJV) And it came to pass, when Jesus had ended these sayings, the people were astonished at his doctrine:
29,For he taught them as one having authority, and not as the scribes.

INSPIRATION.....The scribes could only teach in the synagogue saying, "the Scripture says this or that" or "the rabbis say such and such, " but Jesus taught as one having personal authority. He was not a mere scribe, nor even only a prophet, but the very Son of God.

PRAYER......Lord Jesus, you are the authoritative Son of God, and your Word is Law. You bring us the Words of the Father and you are the Word of the Father. We know that you have the Words of Life, and that salvation is to be found in no other. Help us to pay careful attention to your Words and teachings, knowing from whom they come. Amen.

TODAY'S MORNING PRAYER.........Isaiah 42:8 (KJV) I am the LORD: that is my name: and my glory will I not give to another, neither my praise to graven images.
Isaiah 42:9 (KJV) Behold, the former things are come to pass, and new things do I declare: before they spring forth I tell you of them.

INSPIRATION.......God is a jealous god. He does not want to us to give our affection to anything of the world. As the creator of the universe, He knows all things as He created all things. Therefore, he deserves all our praise. He knows what has passed and what is yet to come.

PRAYER........Dear God, forgive for the times when I have turned away from you and idolized the things of this world. You are the only one who deserves my worship. Forgive me. Thank you for extending your mercy. Thank you for continuing to do new things, O Lord. I place my trust in you. In Jesus' name, amen.

MORNING PRAYER..................Hebrews 2:18 (KJV) For in that he himself hath suffered being tempted, he is able to succour them that are tempted.

INSPIRATION.........Because we live in a fallen world and the power of darkness is real, we will be tempted. Do not be fooled into thinking that because you were saved that you will not be tempted. This is false! Even Jesus suffered temptation while he was here on earth. Yet, he overcame Satan's temptations. Since Jesus was tempted himself, he is able to help us when we are tempted. Call on the name of Jesus when you are tempted!

PRAYER......Dear God, this world is full of sin and temptation. Please, Lord, help me to overcome my temptations. Give me wisdom to know what situations and which people to avoid that will tempt me. When I am tempted, help me to remember that even Jesus was tempted but he called on you, O Lord, and used the your Word in his defense. When I am tempted, I will call on the name of Jesus and remember your Holy Word. In Jesus' name, amen.

MORNING PRAYER.

Matthew 5:14 (KJV) Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid.

INSPIRATION.......Are you living your life in a way that shines light into the darkness of this world? When we love God with all our heart, soul, and mind, we will become a light to the world. Like a city that is sitting on a hill, everyone will be able to see your light shine. People looking for hope will go towards the light. God will use you to draw others to him.

PRAYER......Dear God, forgive me for the times when I have hidden my light. I know believing and trusting in you sets me apart in this world of darkness. You have made me to stand out as a light to guide others to you. Help me to have the courage to embrace this calling and be your hands and feet. May I live a life that shines and brings you glory. In Jesus' name, amen.

Psalms 71:8 (KJV) Let my mouth be filled with thy praise and with thy honour all the day.

INSPIRATION....Our mouths may be filled with all sorts; idle chatter, gossip, news, profanities or slander. Yet it would be best of all to fill it with praise and love. God gave us our voices to not only communicate, but to choose our words wisely. Don't use it to injure or babble, but to spread his gospel and praise.

PRAYER....Lord Almighty I exalt your name on earth as in Heaven. Grant me the wisdom and the will to spread your name and deeds, to use my voice for beauty and truth rather than lies and disparagement. Grant me this Lord, in your holy name I pray, Amen.

Colossians 1:16 (KJV) For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him:.

INSPIRATION.....Take a good look around, all, everything, have sprung from God's hand and creation. His original intent was for good, for all things to be shared in common and equally as in Eden. But ugliness crept into creation the day he allowed true freedom to man. Instead of adoration and thanks, many men have parceled up these goods, divided up lands and resources, and ruined many parts of the earth. To squander God's gift is also as a sin, for everything he did was intended to be loved, enjoyed and shared.

PRAYER....God the Almighty, wicked are we to have squandered your gifts and hoarded it selfishly. Have mercy on those who follow your name, and wish to preserve what is still good and pure in all you have created. Help me preserve your Creation, and safeguard what is righteous, pure, and good. Amen.

O sing unto the LORD a new song; for he hath done marvellous things: his right hand, and his holy arm, hath gotten him the victory.... Psalm 98:1 (KJV)

INSPIRATION.....There are many ways one may think of prayer and worship, and one should feel encouraged in revamping them a little if it means one may serve better ones daily practices or routines. Singing God's praises isn't just for in Church time, it is wherever, whenever. It can be your own song or one you've committed to heart, it doesn't particularly matter; God doesn't think of it as a singing competition. What is important is ones intent, ones heart, ones willingness to rejoice! If singing is really not your thing, the definition could be widened; write a poem of praise or do a dance, whatever it is, it's the joy in celebrating our Lord that counts.

PRAYER.....Heavenly Father, I wish to sing your praises, to rejoice in the name of the Lord and his only begotten Son. For you are the object of our affection, the source of all our light, and the giver of truth. Heavenly Father I pray that you may hear my psalms reverberate up in the highest reaches of heaven, for I love to rejoice with you Lord, as I love you. Amen.

Nearly all of us have questions about life,, suffering, dead, and the future. We're also concerned about day-to-day matters, such as making a living or having a happy family. Many people find that the Bible not only helps them answer life's big questions but also give them practical advice for daily living. Do you think that the Bible can help anyone you know?
1 WHAT ARE SOME QUESTIONS THAT THE BIBLE ANSWERS?
The Bible answer important questions: How did life begin? Why are we here? Why do innocent people suffer? What happens when a person dies? If everyone wants peace, why are there so much war? What will happen to the Earth in the future?
The Bible encourage us to seek answers to such questions, and millions have found its answers very satisfying.
2 HOW CAN THE BIBLE HELP US TO ENJOY OUR DAILY LIFE?
The Bible gives us good advice. For example, it teaches families how to be truly happy. It offers advice on how to deal with stress and how to enjoy our work. You will learn that the Bible teaches about these topics and much more as we discuss this material together. You may come to agree that ALL SCRIPTURES [everything in the Bible]is ... BENEFICIAL. ...2 Timothy 3:16 (Consider how the Bible has helped people, how you can enjoy reading it. And why it is good to get help to understand it.)

Let love be without dissimulation. Abhor that which is evil; cleave to that which is good. (Romans 12:9)

INSPIRATION....We cannot be picky when it comes to who or what we love with the Lord. If it is made with his grace, if it is filled with goodness, we ought to reserve any space we can within our heart for it. For to love delights God, for these are his creations, his gifts to us. There is already so much sin and evil in the world, lets not sully it more with following after our temptations or weaknesses, but cling rather to all that is pure and good, for these are the precious and treasured things that make our spirits endure.

PRAYER....God my shepherd and Father, my savior and provider, help me see the beauty and good in all you do. Help me seek out your works and all that nourishes the spirit. Let me not neglect any part of your wondrous works, but in loving them, see them all as a path which brings me closer to understanding your grace and glory. In the name of the Father I pray, Amen.
