PETER MBAH POST INAUGURAL CELEBRATION: UMU-UMU OWO PROGRESSIVE UNION, NIKE CHAPTER, CONGRATULATES DR. PETER MBAH, SAYS HIS GOVERNMENT MUST WORK FOR THE GOOD OF NDI-ENUGU.

Yesterday, at the post inaugural ceremony of Dr. Peter Ndubuisi Mbah held by the Enugu East L.G.A at Nike Lake Resort, a group known to be the great -grand children and descendants from Peter Mbah's lineage congratulates the brand-new Governor of Enugu State, says their prayers for him is to succeed in his government.

The chairman of Umu-Umu Owo Progressive Union, Nike chapter, Hon. Bernard Iloka, who spoke during an interview with Madus TV, said that they are great-grand children of Dr. Peter Mbah according to their lineage.

Hon. Iloka, thanked God who made it possible that their great-grand father is today, the Governor of Enugu State. Being so excited, he added that their union was going to fullfil the promise they made to God prior to the guber election, that if God should help Peter Mbah to become the Governor, they will go to the church and offer a thanksgiving.

While congratulating the Governor for his successful inauguration, Hon. Iloka, expressed confidence that Peter Mbah will do well as a governor because he has been a hardworking person from his childhood.

He further prayed for God to help him fullfil every promise he has made to Ndi-Enugu.

Ebonyi Youths In Enugu State Endorse Peter Mbah - Our Votes Are For Peter — Hon. Madus Mathias.

Addressing over one thousand Ebonyi Youths who lives in Enugu State at Dragon Event Center, 82 division in Enugu yesterday, Barr. Peter Mbah who was ably represented by Hon. Prince Paul Nnaji assured that Ebonyi people in Enugu State -young and old, male and female will feel the impact of good governance in his administration, urging them to vote for him and all other PDP candidates.

"He will create jobs and thriving opportunities for Ndi-Ebonyi who live Enugu State" he assured.

While briefing news men on Friday,
the Chairman, Ebonyi Youths For Better Enugu State, Hon. Madus Mathias says there is no negotiations with the votes of Ebonyi people living here in Enugu State, "Our Voters are for Peter Mbah" he affirms.

Hon. Madus went further to reassure Ebonyi Youths in Enugu that Barr. Peter Ndubuisi Mbah will favour the hardworking and industrious teeming youths from Ebonyi State who live and make a living here in Enugu State.

He cleared the people that there is no difference between Ebonyi and Enugu people. Hence, that Ebonyi people should see themselves as part of Ndi Enugu.

Hon. Madus reminded Ndi Ebonyi that a PDP major stakeholder and political stalwart, Hon. Prince Paul Nnaji, had emphasized during an important meeting with the group's officials, that there was no need traveling back home to vote when your PVC is registered here in Enugu State.

In his closing remarks, Hon. Prince Paul Nnaji, tells Ebonyi Youths in Enugu State...

Enugu Barbers and Hairdressers Vow to Vote Barr. Peter Mbah and all PDP Candidates - Hon. Madus Mathias

The Barbers and Hairdressers in Enugu State have vowed to vote for Barr. Peter Mbah and all PDP Candidates in the March 18th polls.

During a crucial meeting yesterday with a major stakeholder of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Hon. Prince Paul Nnaji, and the representatives of Enugu Barbers & Hairdressers Forum from the 17 LGAs of the State.

Hon. Prince Paul Nnaji, when addressing the barbers and hairdressers, emphasizes that: "Hairdressing is an important service to mankind and thus, people in that line of career deserves to be given great attention and support"

He further explained that "Barber and Hairdressing shops are strongholds for information dissemination. People from all works of life meet there to beautify themselves and their children, thus, making it a free market place"

Hon. Prince Paul took out the time to expand on the need to vote for Barr. Peter Mbah as the next Governor of Enugu State, siting verifiable track record of his excellent deeds, unequivocally requested that all barbers and hairdressers in Enugu State should take the good news about Peter Mbah to their various shops and canvas votes for him.

He assured that barbers and hairdressers will not be left out of the good agenda of Hon. Barr. Peter Mbah if elected Governor.

Responding, a notable women leader in the forum, coordinating Enugu North, Hon. Mrs. Chioma Udeh, passionately expressed her joy and satisfaction with the proactive major taken by Barr. Peter Mbah during the fatal accident that occurred along CBN quarters by Trans-Ekulu in Enugu. According to her, for Peter Mbah to even carry some of the accident victims in his car and rushed them to the hospital shows that he will govern well if given the opportunity. "I will vote for Peter Mbah" she finalized.

The forum Chairman, Hon. Madus Mathias in his remarks, stressed that one major way to attract democratic dividend is through political participation and voting the right candidates in to office. He therefore urged all the representatives of the forum to go back to their various LGAs and Senatorial Zones and take charge and convince everyone of their customers with facts and many good reason to vote Barr. Peter Mbah and all PDP candidates in the forthcoming elections.

Hon. Uche Kalu Chiowa, a councillor in Eleoha Ward 4 in Arochukwu L.G.A of Abia State has vowed to bring his home town, Okpo to the light of modern development.

Hon. Uche Kalu who is currently working on installing solar lights in Okpo, says he is doing it to show his sincere gratitude to his people for the opportunity given to him to serve them as councillor.

"Okpo people deserves the best. They have suffered enough. No light, very bad roads and no community development projects from the government. Okpo has great sons and daughters spread across the globe and the time is now to make Okpo be like the European countries ('Okpo Ga Di Ka Obodo Oyibo')" he said.

Hon. SUBWAY TUNNEL CLEAN-UP:

ENUGU STATE GOVERNMENT PARTNERS WITH ENUGU METROPOLITAN LION CLUB AND THE RAILWAY MANAGEMENT FOR THE APRIL 2022 EDITION OF TO THE SUBWAY TUNNEL VOLUNTORY CLEAN-UP EXERCISE.

After a long break, the Enugu Subway Tunnel will be re-visited again for another massive voluntory clean-up exercise on Saturday April 2nd 2022.

The Special Assistant to the Governor of Enugu State, Hon. Madus Mathias has vowed to ensure consistent cleanliness of the tunnel.

"The is very helpful to Ndi Enugu and her visitors alike and the condition of the tunnel is not good at all. We need to always keep it clean for our people to continue using it" He said. "The Subway Tunnel is economically and socially viable and we must work harder to harness those great resources" He added.

The exercise will take place during morning hours starting from 7am prompt.

Political Corruption Takes Roots at Campaign Rallies:

By Hon. Madus Mathias, Presidential Aspirant 2023.

I am writing this based on real life experience, not with any sentiment. I therefore call on all leaders to treat this issue with every sense of seriously.

My Observations:

1. At Political Campaigns and Rallies, there you will see all manner of eye services, almost the highest level of sycophancy will be technically displayed to catch the fancy of the prospective incoming candidates.

2. Looking united, yet so divided among self. Groups against groups. Friends against friends, resulting into unbelievable favouritism, racism, nepotism and discrimination against fellow party members.

3. High level of self-centeredness! This is where the practice of embesslement starts. One person is struggling to get all alone. One person is eating 3 plates of food whereas the people seating close to him/her has neither eaten nor taken water 💦 and who cares. I was so ashamed to see even people who where supposed to speak against such behaviour leading in the same act. The urchers will walk pass you to give more food and drinks to their friends who have had enough. You get only as much as you are able to fight. When I rose to contend with that, I stood awkward among others.

4. No orderliness. Very poor protocol arrangements. Everyone wants to be seen. People seating where there are not supposed to seat. Support group members seating on spaces meant for stakeholders while some stakeholders are standing without seats and nobody cares. (These are the four evil pillars that will never give way for a true and healthy democracy in Nigeria)

The Negative Impact of the above corrupt practices.

1. Generation of voter apathy and poor votes
2. People wouldn't take politics seriously
3. Sincere and truly committed followers and members will drop their efforts and be corrupted hence nobody cares.
4. It will encourage untold division, hatred and silent enemity and war amongst members...

My Suggested Possible Solutions

1. Show more of genuine love during political campaigns and rallies
2. Set up monitoring/supervisory committee to ensure drastic control of corrupt practices during political campaigns and rallies.
3. Leaders should learn to stop overlooking little wrongs during political campaigns and rallies as they have the capacity of rubbing and destroying the entire efforts and reputations of the leaders and the campaign.
4. Give strong orientation to members before embarking on political campaigns and rallies.
