🟢Why is AFCON 2023 being played in 2024

CAF confirmed back in July 2022 that the 2023 edition will revert to the northern hemisphere winter due to summer weather conditions in the Ivory Coast. The 2023 edition will therefore, while (retaining the name AFCON 2023,) be played from 13 January to 11 February 2024

WHAT ON EARTH WILL MAKE THIS LADY TO TAKE HER LIFE? This generation is scaring me.

On 08/01/2024 at about 1pm, the marketing staff of Globus bank, Ikorodu, Lagos, a lady one Amarachi Ugochukwu aged 32yrs was found dead in the staff toilet.
It happened that she had left her phone on her table and the phone kept ringing which made her colleagues to start looking for her, after which the office toilet door was noticed to have been locked behind. However, the door was forcefully opened and her motionless body with an empty medium sized SNIPPER bottle and a diary where she wrote :-

"NOTHING IS WORKING IN MY LIFE"

"MY FIGURES ARE LOW"

"MY BRAIN IS CLOGGED UP"

"THE ECONOMY IS GETTING HARDER"

"MY DECISIONS ARE WRONG"

"MY MIND IS MESSED UP"

"THE FUTURE DOESN'T SEEN BRIGHT AT ALL, I SEE EXTREME HARDSHIP. I CAN'T BEAR THE PAIN ANYMORE"

A few seasons ago, the Rangers FC, a football club from Igboland, had the opportunity to showcase their skills in a thrilling home match played under the floodlights of Enugu international stadium. During that time, night matches were also quite popular in the Nigerian Football League, attracting a massive crowd to the stadium.

Unfortunately, the times have changed, and insecurity has plagued our land. People now live in fear of venturing out at night, leading to a noticeable decline in support for our local clubs. It is my hope that we can recapture the spirit of fervent support that we once showed for our local clubs.

If you are a supporter of a Nigerian football club, I invite you to proudly represent your club.

As for me, I am a staunch supporter of Rangers FC. Renowned as the most successful and biggest club in Nigeria, I firmly stand behind them with proud.

"I met my husband in Enugu, he was a youth corper then in Enugu. I was also posted to Enugu. So a friend of mine visited me and she came along with her boyfriend who also came along with my husband. That was how we met and it was love at first sight. I think people frown at love at first sight but it worked for us.
I fell in love with his broad shoulders. Then he was really looking very cute. I can still remember what he was wearing that day – a red shirt, long sleeves and jeans trousers. That was 37 years ago. He couldn’t even take me out because he didn’t have money as a youth corper. It was quite magnetic and that was it.
There is a 3-year age difference between us. I am older than him anyway. I was like 25 then while he was 22. It was love that really endured. I had graduated and in my place (Owerri) when a girl graduates from the University suitors come from left, right and centre. And your parents would expect you to go for a made man with everything, but I have always known that there was no way I could have married a self-made man. I will better build a home from the scratch with you because I want to have a say in my home"
