THE LEADING DRAWING ARTIST IN NIGERIA

Aleshinloye Hakeem Olayinka also known as Alesh Akeem 23 years of age is Nigerian leading pencil artist. A virtuoso in the world of Art, whose remarkable efforts caught the world’s attention.
Born in Ajegunle- one of the most feared places in Lagos, Nigeria. Alesh Akeem came across art in Primary two as an elementary school pupil, even though they never had a fine art teacher in his ‘Ajegunle-based’ primary school.

The young lad introduced himself to art while borrowing comic books from friends and try to replicate their illustrations. No sooner did he save-up his pocket money as a kid and started buying his own comic books, drawing books and pencils. Little did he know that marked his beginning of investment into a career that would make him a global brand.
According to Alesh Akeem, He fell in love with art because of its possibilities to create his own world and express his imaginations.

The best hyperrealistic pencil drawing artist

Arinze Stanley Egbengwu (born 1993) a self-taught artist and lives in Lagos, is a Nigerian artist, activist, photographer, engineer, and entrepreneur. He is best known for creating hyperrealistic pencil drawings
He discovered that pencils work like magic as a little boy. He understood that it’s in his power to bring to life his imagination and his view, to put everything down to paper, and to speak in such a way that social consciousness can redefine itself.

Arinze uses his works as a medium for social and political activism. His work addresses matters including racism, modern slavery, and feminism both in his community and worldwide.

Stanley attended Imo State University and he’s got an Agricultural Engineering specialization, his university path has nothing to do with drawings or art at all. Still, he captured the audience’s attention in 2016 when he had a debut group show in Nigeria, at the Omenka Gallery from Lagos. Moreover, his talent was appreciated in the United Kingdom and the United States of America. He even had a remarkable appearance in different art fairs; Art Miami, Scope Art Fair, and 1-54 Contemporary African Art Fair are the most important ones to mention.

Arinze is an artist that managed to reproduce the social Nigerian reality just like it is and the consequence of that is a huge impact that he made.

He recalls youth in his artwork and displays it as being a chance for change into a positive, predictable future for society. And doing so, he transforms himself into an activist.

This young artist brings a positive change in the society he lives in and pleads for justice. He imitates human nature; he reproduces all human aspects he finds extremely remarkable and emphasizes new stages of human perception and soul consistency. He reproduces all that’s real by going higher and higher.

You can make an impart to the community you're in and also to the society at large just give it a trial the sky will be your limit.
