Umunnem Ndi Nkanu West,

My aim for contesting for the seat is solely based on improving the people’s welfare and bringing about social justice. I strongly believe the attainment of these aforementioned goals will bring about improvement in the standard of living and general wellbeing of our people.
We have done it in the past giving the availability of resources at our disposal, we can do it again and even better.

The records are there !

The mandate I seek is to
give Ndi Nkanu West a QUALITY, VIBRANT, ACCOUNTABLE AND EFFECTIVE REPRESENTATION and also to foster a cordial relationship between the constituents and their representative.

To achieve this, we will create people-oriented programs and policies that would bring about prosperity and self-reliance.

We will sponsor and co-sponsor relevant bills and motions that will impact positively on the great people of our Constituency, facilitate gainful employment and access to poverty reduction schemes of the federal and state governments.
We will attract investments and encourage the establishment of SMEs to utilize the abundant raw materials and manpower in Nkanu West.
We will champion literacy excellence at all levels of education through financial support for students, promote ICT capacity amongst the youths, etc

I have no doubt that this time around, Ndi Nkanu West will consider capacity, capability, antecedent and preparedness against any form of financial inducement as they elect their representatives.

To achieve a legacy of sustainable development across the constituency, we are going to use participatory approach to ensure that the constituents are carried along in the planning, design, implementation and evaluation of constituency project through organization of regular constituent bi-annual meetings.

If elected, we would use this office to facilitate collaboration with the executive arm of government to bring about infrastructural development and economic empowerment. The attainment of this plan would bring about far-reaching economic opportunities for Micro, Small and Medium enterprises. We would work tirelessly to formulate policies that engender welfarism, and bring prosperity to the great people of Nkanu West.

I admonish our people to desist from selling their votes in exchange of financial inducement ahead of the upcoming elections.
A voter who receives gratification of any kind to cast a vote has not only kept himself/herself below the poverty line but has made it impossible to hold his/her representative accountable.

"We need healing in our Polity"

Nigeria as a Nation has had a chequered political history with failed leaderships, resultant hardship and underdevelopment.

At the moment, the country is in a near collapsing situation if the citizens fail to rise to the occasion to install a patriotic and credible leadership in 2023.

The opportunity that 2023 general election offers Nigerians is a lifetime opportunity that must be utilized to save Nigeria from disintegration, maladministration, quandary, total collapse and homogeneous corruption.

In the race for the presidency of Nigeria is Mr. Peter Obi, a man acknowledged across ethnic and political divides as well prepared, most credible, patriotic and policy driven candidate with clear cut plan to save Nigeria from total collapse. Obi is the man Nigerians need.

As a true and patriotic citizen who envisioned a better Nigeria, I have formally joined Mr. Peter Obi, the incoming President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, in an effort to make Nigeria work again.

To answer the call of my people, I have also put myself forward for the House of Assembly race under the most acceptable and youth driven political platform, LABOUR PARTY, to represent Nkanu West State Constituency in the Enugu State House of Assembly come 2023.

It is my conviction that a good House of Assembly Member has a lot to offer to his people but it is unfortunate to note that for the past 12 years, Nkanu West has no touch of representation. Not even a single water tap was attracted to the credit of the person representing us, no bill sponsored, absolutely nothing.
And some people are still clapping and venerating someone who has impoverished them for the past 12 years and recked their future to his personal gains? Incredible !

That narrative of epileptic representation is what I have come to change. 12 years is enough for any lawmaker to effect a life changing legislation for his people, but in the case of Nkanu West, it has been "to your tent oh Israel"

As we join the movement for a better Nigeria, it is a duty call to all well meaning Nigerians to lend support and solidarity to rescue Nigeria and Enugu State.
It is a movement to free our communities from insecurity and wanton killings. It is a movement to prevent joblessness and ASUU strike. It is a movement to industrialize Nigeria.

Umunnem Ndi Nkanu West, Nigeria is in indeed lucky to have Mr. Peter Obi in the Presidential race in a time political merchants are jostling to lead the country.

Enugu State, the former pride of the Eastern Region and the capital of the Igbo land, should not be left out in the movement to rescue Nigeria.
His Excellency, Mr. Peter Obi is the facilitator and I have signed up as a mobilizer in my own constituency.

We must look beyond party affiliation, pettiness and sentiment to voting the best.
It's about our future and that of our children.
