Breaking**Two Pastors Apprehended in Rivers State with Caskets, Skulls, and Ritual Items
In a shocking development, the Rivers State Police Command has arrested two pastors, Prophet Bassey Umoren (60) and Prophet Elijah Anietie (50), after they were found with items suspected to be used for fe**sh practices. The discovery, made by vigilant youths in the Rumunduru community of Obio/Akpor Local Government Area, included small caskets, monkey skulls, carved skeletons, photographs (some of children), spiritual books, and other ritual objects.
The two pastors are the founders of God’s Deliverance Apostolic Church and Power House of Glory International Gospel Church, both located along Eneka Road in Rumunduru. They were apprehended and handed over to the police by community members concerned about the spiritual and social impact of their alleged activities.
Speaking at the Rivers State Police Command Headquarters in Port Harcourt, the State Police Public Relations Officer, Grace Iringe-Koko, confirmed the arrests and the recovery of the strange items. She assured the public that investigations are ongoing to uncover the full extent of the pastors’ actions and identify any potential victims.
Community leaders have praised the youths of Rumunduru for their courage and vigilance in exposing the situation, urging other communities to remain alert to protect their neighborhoods.
The police have called on residents to report suspicious activities, emphasizing that such actions play a critical role in maintaining peace and safety in society.
