Sometimes, people leave us because we never made them understand their significance in our lives, we left them wondering if we ever acknowledged their efforts. Let them know that they aren't watering dead plants by being there for you. Tell them how happy and warm they make you feel, how much you appreciate them and why you never want to lose them. This will allow them a comfortable space to become more loving, without insecurities and doubt. Be openly vocal with your gratitude.
