The Man Famously Known For World Longest Nose

Thomas Wedders, an 18th-century English circus performer, was known for having the world's longest nose, measuring 7.5 inches.

According to the Guinness World Records, Wedders was a member of a travelling circus in the 1770s. A wax reproduction of his head is currently displayed at Ripley's Believe It or Not museum.

In 2010 she was listed among the authors of The New Yorker's "20 Under 40" Fiction Issue. In April 2017, it was announced that Adichie had been elected, as one of 228 new members to ube inducted on 7 October 2017,into the 237th class of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences; this was one of the highest honours for intellectuals in the United States.

Adichie holds 16 honorary doctorate degrees from universities including Yale University, the University of Pennsylvania, the University of Edinburgh, Duke University, Georgetown University, Johns Hopkins University, and the Catholic University of Louvain. In 2016, she was conferred with an honorary degree, Doctor of Humane letters, honoris causa, by Johns Hopkins University.In 2017, she was conferred an honorary degree, Doctor of Humane letters, honoris causa, by Haverford College and The University of Edinburgh.In 2018, she received an honorary degree, Doctor of Humane Letters, from Amherst College.She received an honorary degree, doctor honoris causa, from the Université de Fribourg, Switzerland, in 2019. On 30 December 2022, Adichie was made the Odeluwa of Abba, a Nigerian chief, by the kingdom of Abba in her native Anambra State. She was the first woman to receive such an honour from the kingdom.

Church Gives Certificate of Virginity to Ladies after Test

A church in South Africa has issued out certificate of virginity to female church members who had undergone virginity test.

The church identified as Nazareth Baptist Church is located at Ebuhleni, northern part of Durban in South Africa.

The move is in a bid to encourage chastity among the ladies in the society and it’s from 18 years an above.

The test is usually conducted in the middle of every year so the certificate issued becomes invalid by the middle of next year when the next virginity test is conducted by the church.

Prophet Chukwuemeka Ohanaemere popularly known as ‘Odumeje’ has had a fair share of sad day in Onitsha today, Thursday, July 7 It was a sad one for the popular man of God whom while trying to prevent the Anambra government officials from demolishing his church was dealt with in the process According to reports, the demolition exercise was in line with the Onitsha urban renewal plan spearheaded by Governor Charles Soludo

A case of one being caught off guard is the experience Prophet Chukwuemeka Ohanaemere had on Thursday afternoon, Anambra State government demolished the Mountain of Holy Ghost Intervention and Deliverance Ministry owned by Prophet Chukwuemeka Ohanaemere popularly known as ‘Odumeje’ in the commercial city of Onitsha. In fact, there have been a series of videos making rounds on the internet of how the prominent cleric is roughly handled by the Armed Taskforce officials.

BREAKING: FG declares Monday, Tuesday public holidays for Sallah celebrations

To mark this year’s Eid-el-Kabir celebration, the Federal Government has declared Monday 11th and Tuesday 12th July 2022, as public holidays.

The Minister of Interior, Rauf Aregbesola, announced this in a statement by the ministry’s Permanent Secretary, Dr Shuaib Belgore.

Aregbesola, who congratulated all Muslims and Nigerians both at home and in the Diaspora on the occasion, urged them to use the period to pray for peace and prosperity for the country.

The minister urged Nigerians to take responsibility by reporting any suspicious individuals and criminal activities they observed around them to law enforcement agencies.

“We must all take responsibility for the security of lives and property as we celebrate this year’s festival,” he said.

He also assured Nigerians of the government’s protection of all under the law, maintenance of law and order, and keeping the peace in all situations.

On-Air Personality, Zainab Fakunel who got laid off from her job because of "R" factor in her pronunciation has landed a new job Zainab announced May, 2022 that she was sacked due to her inability to control the factor which is common among non-native speakers of English The new job she got is with Fresh FM, Lagos and she has taken to social media to celebrate the new job with her fans

Social media is currently agog in celebration as a Nigerian lady who was sacked from her radio job has landed another one. Zainab Fakunle lost her OAP job due "R" factor in her speech which her former employers were not comfortable with. Zainab has landed a new job.

An "R" factor in speech is the inability to pronounce the letter "R" properly. Some non-native speakers of English Language who have the disorder tend to swap "R" for "L" or vice versa.

Fans react as Rita Dominic laments about her height It was for this reason which was no fault of hers that Zainab got axed by her former employers one month after she was hired.

But luck has smiled on her as she has landed a new job with Fresh FM, Lagos. Sharing the good news, Zainab wrote:
"I was crushed, I stood up for myself, yet I got knocked by many people, but I was undeterred and finally God in his mercies have vindicated me!"
