The spiritual father of the Cherubim and Seraphim Movement Church Prophet Adefila Abidoye has advised people to be realistic and truthful in their dealings.

The clergyman made this known while delivering the official opening speech at the opening ceremony of this year's edition of the International Choir convention of the church currently being held at the International headquarters of the church, Galilee land Orile Igbon Oyo State.

"If you tell the truth, you don't have to remember what you said before and if you want to be trusted,be honest. Being honest may not get you a lot of friends but it will get you the right once" he said.

He also pointed out the fact that honest attracts resentment but he urged the believers to be ready.

"Be ready to be hated for what you are than to be loved for what you are not"
The centenarian also urged members of the church to endeavour to leave a legacy.
" Please endeavour to leave a good legacy that must positively impact the lives of others".

He used the opportunity to single out the chairman of the choir board for commendation for his contribution towards the growth of the choir.

I enjoyed their trumpet and drums Sha.

I shared same space with one of them, he wakes us up with noise when the sleep is sweetest.

At the mega camp I dedicated a large part of my time to taking documentary pictures of everyone and everything unfiltered.

I found this lady and her sister (or so I assume) making puff-puf!

Actually they gave us some after taking pictures and making videos.

The other one gave me her phone to make videos which she happily posted on Snapchat.

I love it when people own their hustlers with full chest!

President Bola Tinubu has approved the redeployment of Engr. Abubakar Momoh from the Federal Ministry of Youth to the Federal Ministry of Niger Delta Development.

The Federal Ministry of Youth is to be re-assigned to a Minister-Designate soon.

The Ministers-Designate allocated to the Federal Ministries of Transportation, Interior, and Marine & Blue Economy have been reshuffled as follows:

(A) H.E. Adegboyega Oyetola is redeployed as the Honourable Minister of Marine & Blue Economy

(B) Hon. Bunmi Tunji-Ojo is redeployed as the Honourable Minister of Interior

(C) Hon. Sa'idu Alkali is redeployed as the Honourable Minister of Transportation

Furthermore, both Ministers of State in the Oil & Gas sector are now domiciled in the Federal Ministry of Petroleum Resources with the following designations:

(i) Sen. Heineken Lokpobiri is the Hon. Minister of State (Oil), Petroleum Resources

(ii) Hon. Ekperipe Ekpo is the Hon. Minister of State (Gas), Petroleum Resources

The President approves the renaming of the Federal Ministry of Environment and Ecological Management as the Federal Ministry of Environment.

All aforementioned changes take immediate effect by these directives of the President.

Russia is rumoured to be planning to "declare war" on Ukraine. It would have been funny it it weren't so meaningless. Russia is about to make a bad thing worse for itself and really cut itself to junk for decades to come by continuing on this futile path.
Let me start with the local currency, the Rouble. It was about 82 to the dollar before the war ('special operation in Ukraine'), and as of today, it is 65. That is, it has firmed by over 20% in 68 days. On the surface, that looks wonderful, if not superhuman and has formed a propaganda delicacy for Putin's deception machine the world over.
Of course in appearance, it looks like genius to extract such monetary performance in wartime. But wait a minute, let them expose that currency to the perturbations of economic realities. Let them float it for an hour and see what happens. It is nothing keeping the value of a globally insulated and sterilized currency that is awash with petrodollars for months whole the country is buying practically nothing due to sanctions. If that economy cannot buy, the currency becomes worthless even if it was neck on neck in paper to the dollar. You cannot balance the gain the rouble has made with the dramatic inflation that is chewing at Russia since a few weeks into the war.
Next, Europe is feverishly working on a ban on Russian oil and that could happen within hours from now with Slovakia and Hungary exempted. (Don't worry about the Hungarians, Europe will come back to them). Germany has said it is ready to drop Russia energy and shut Nord Stream 1 "before Summer". That is an earth shaking one for Moscow, Rouble and all. That's the centre of gravity for the Russian economy.
Now to the field.
What is the population of Russia?
The country has been so overrated because of its geographical optics. I remember as a child, it used to give me goose pimples just looking at the vast spread of the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics on the world map, that rolling country spreading on and on from the west to the ends of the earth.
But Russia is just about 130 million people. Ukraine is 45 million.
You can say there are 3 Russians for each Ukrainian.
Now let us assume the age group demographics are similar for the sake of argument, let's go ahead and place the population against military theories.
In war, if you are outnumbered 3:1, it is never considered a very precarious situation because there are all sorts of factors the smaller guy can use to reset the balance. If the situation is dire, you can even out your hope in the weather or engage psychological means and it could work.
In the strategy literature, the psychology of 'Home' and 'Away' is stronger than in football. The advantage conferred by defending he homeland is so telling that the army that is projecting power on a foreign nation is at a stark disadvantage.
An attacker who is leaving his soil to take war to somebody in his own house is expected to have the following combat ratio of men given a balance in the quality of equipment and morale.
1. Urban warfare (that is. The forces are clashing in the city): Ratio 7:1
2. Suburbs and villages: Ration 5:1.
3. Open plains: Ration 3:1.
(I think jungle warfare is the most dangerous to the invader and it should require something like 12:1 because the foliage affords all manners of concealment and deception better than wars on other terrain. That is why tropical wars are a nightmare anytime and it explains something about America's red nose in Vietnam).
After Russia failed to beat Ukraine I'm a nationwide campaign.launched on February 24, it reduced the scope of the war to about ¹/15 of its original objective. It now wants to capture the crescent of the southeast from the Donbass westwards across the coasts all the way to Crimea. On paper, that shouldn't be too hard since Russia's domination at sea is about 95%. But the Ukrainians are dug into strong positions in the east. Experts assessors believe Russia needs to work with a ration 5:1 personnel for its offensive to be effective.
From basic demographics, Russia does not have those numbers. Those of you supporting Russia, come and take a closer look. See, strategy issues are altogether or at least 99% common sense. Russia does not outnumber Ukraine by 5:1 and that is critical in conflicts.
The only way to offset this deficit is the way of the following:
a. Weapon systems and supporting equipment
b. Morale and discipline
c. Command
d. Superior logistics
e. Allies and diplomacy.
Tell me where Russia scores more than 4 from a - e on the scale of 10.
Nowhere!
Russian troops are so discouraged that they are expressing it on open comms. A regiment abandoned an entire air defence system and ran away. Another left sophisticated electronic warfare system in the field as they retreated. Many fled on foot in the earlier western front in sheer terror or for lack of fuel. Ukraine seized so many tanks that it actually has more tanks than Russia as we speak. Russians learnt a terrible lesson at the beginning of the war as Ukraine pounded their overstretched supply lines. What they have resorted to these days is to keep the fight closer to the supply base. As a result, they are unable to advance on ground. A they do is saturate am area with artillery fire, advance a little and then withdraw once Ukraine counterattacks. They don't have enough men to keep whatever they manage to win.
The Pentagon assesses that Russia has roughly 90,000 men deployed to the fronts. Ukraine is suspected to be 30,000 strong in the east. That gives a ratio of 3:1, which precisely mirrors the general demographics of the two nations. However, all other critical factors of the war are weighing against Russia.
While Russian troops go AWOL, Ukrainians are fighting tooth and nail to defend their motherland and they are willing to lay down their lives in so doing. Their morale is not only sky high, but is daily boosted by their battery of allies who prop them with diplomacy and weapons.
On weapons and equipment, the Ukrainians simply have the those of weapons that is suited to the ear they are fighting. They have changed military history from the way they deployed portable weapons that kill tanks and shoot down low flying aircraft and their anti-aircraft capabilities gained global acclaim when they shot down a Russian Su-64s, the cutting edge interceptor of superpower status in March.
Yet the West has not even sent them superlative weapons. The Americans are sending heavy armour like howitzers and some of those arrived the battlefields in Donbass just a few days ago. Howitzers are guns that fire bombs in a more precise manner. The most modern ones are almost as efficient as guided missiles because they receive location information from soy drones and then fire their rounds to land accurately on the target. Ukraine has about 70 of such weapons right now and are asking for more. They are asking for what is called counter-artillery radars. These can fix the location of enemy artillery by using radars to calculate it's ground position using the trajectory of its round. It will then immediately launch accurate attacks on that derived location which can be as far as 200km away. There are also the latest 'handheld' drones that loiter and do untold harm. Those are just arriving the battlefield on Ukraine's side right now.
Russia is thinking of declaring a full scale war with the implications that it will call the draft. All men within an age group will be recruited into the armed services by force and civilian infrastructures will be converted for military purposes. They will likely suspend the constitution and out the country on a full war footing and then dig in to start burning money - money they are barely making.
The real implication of all this is that Russia is dangerously desperate and to save face, it might resort to using weapons of mass destruction. It stands no chance of winning this ear at all by conventional means.
Russia has found out that it is not a military superpower by any means and it is a great sadness and a type of death for the nation and its leaders.
Russia should try to exert influence instead of employing force to solve problems. It should actually go out to make friends and sell itself to the world instead of showing muscles or threatening it's neighbors and propping dictators everywhere. There is a reason it's worldview is not selling and it should acknowledge that.
As for Ukraine, it has been bruised and it will revive even more desperate blows over the next three weeks after which the war will peter out or be escalated with sinister, unconventional weapons. However, Ukraine has fought well and will go on to become a great nation that could rival France in Europe oner the next 15 years or Germany in 25, especially given Germany's weak demography. The nation has witnessed its rebirth and it will go on to consolidate it's identity as a nation in its own right, having with blood broken all fetters to its Bolshevik and undemocratic past.
Ukraine will be one of the five strongest nations on the earth within the next 20 years and African policy makers may wish to take note.
