They arrived at Sir Abubakar Tafawa Balewa International Airport, Bauchi, where they were warmly received by top Government officials and dignitaries.

The governor and the First Lady took the opportunity to thank Allah for the successful completion of their Hajj pilgrimage and prayed that their ibadat (worship) be accepted. They also sought Allah's blessings and grant them their heart's desires.

The governor expressed gratitude to the people of Bauchi State for their support and prayers, pledging to continue working for the state's betterment.

AL-MUHIBBA FOUNDATION FEEDS OVER 400 ALMAJIRI IN BAUCHI STATE.

In the spirit of kindness and generosity, Almuhibbah Foundation feeds over 400 Almajiri during the Sallah celebration of Eid-el-Kabir in Bauchi State. The foundation, founded by Her Excellency, the First Lady of Bauchi State, Hajiya Dr. Aisha Bala Mohammed (Sarauniyar Bauchi), distributed food and slippers to the Almajiri, bringing Joy and happiness to their faces .

The event saw the Almajiri enjoying a delicious meal of rice, meat, and other essential commodities. The foundation also distributed slippers to each of the beneficiaries, providing them with a sense of dignity and comfort.

The Almajiri, accompanied by their Imam, gathered to recite the Holy Quran and offer prayers, adding a deeper significance to the event.

GOVERNOR BALA AND FIRST LADY HAJIYA DR. AISHA BALA MOHAMMED SARAUNIYA BAUCHI VISIT YANKARI GAME RESERVE REHABILITATION

His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Bauchi State, Sen Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed CON Kauran Bauchi, accompanied by his wife, First Lady Hajiya Dr. Aisha Bala Mohammed Sarauniya Bauchi, visited the ongoing rehabilitation of Yankari Game Reserves, which are under the management of the Bauchi State Government.

Governor Bala expressed gratitude and optimism to his predecessors for their respective services and affirmed that developing human resources and infrastructure is part of his commitment to making Bauchi's cultural amenities more appealing. He specifically thanked Alh. Ahmed Adamu Muazu for his foresight and revitalizing efforts.

Governor Bala expressed deep concern about the level of dilapidation due to the negligence of the previous administrations and issued a stern warning to intruders and killers of the animals in the Yankari Game Reserves. He assured that his administration will enhance the security of the entire area and protect the rights of the species.

First Lady of Bauchi State, Her Excellency Hajiya Dr. Aisha Bala Mohammed (Sarauniya Bauchi), Supports Launch of Accelerated Senior Secondary School Education Programme (ASSEP)

Towards addressing the challenges affecting the education sector in the North East sub-region, Vice President, Senator Kashim Shettima, launched an Accelerated Senior Secondary School Education Programme (ASSEP) to facilitate entrepreneurship and empowerment in the sub-region.

The programme, an initiative of the North East Development Commission (NEDC) in partnership with the six state governors of the sub-region, seeks to focus on the development of science, mathematics, and technology to facilitate entrepreneurship development for the participants to enable them become self-reliant.

Vice President Kashim Shettima said the federal government remains committed to empowering the youths through results-oriented programs that will benefit the people. He noted that the North East sub-region of the country has suffered a lot and that this initiative would assist greatly in addressing the menace.

Chairman North East Governors Forum, Borno State Governor Prof. Babagana Umara Zulum, and Governor Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed of Bauchi State pledged their unalloyed loyalty and support to the success of the program.

The Managing Director North East Development Commission (NEDC), Dr. Mohammed Goni Alkali, said the initiative, if properly put into practice, would assist youth, particularly secondary school students, in acquiring practical skills for continuous development.

Vice President Kashim Shettima has commended Governor Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed for his many developmental projects, including giving the people of Bauchi State a new seat of power. He was speaking when he commissioned the completed reconstruction and upgrading of Bauchi Government House executed by Governor Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed.

The First Lady of Bauchi State, Hajia Dr. Aisha Bala Mohammed (Sarauniya Bauchi), was present at the ceremony, which marked a significant milestone in the state's infrastructure development.

Vice President Kashim Shettima said the newly remodeled Government House will facilitate effective service delivery to the people and charged leaders to prioritize developmental projects to block the infrastructural gaps in their respective states for continuous development.

Governor Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed, in his address, said the development has achieved his dream, vision, and mission of giving the people of Bauchi State a brand new seat of power, which is part of his blueprint tagged "My Bauchi Project" encapsulated since 2019.

Commissioner of Housing and Environment, Rt Hon Danlami Ahmad Kawule, and the contractor handling the project, Arch Ruben Okoya, itemized the differences between the former Bauchi Government House and the new one, saying the project can stand the taste of terms of quality project. They said the new Bauchi Government House is a complete departure from the past Government House and that it is the major intervention within the Government House since the state was created in 1976.
