🔴THIS IS ONE STORY THAT CHANGED MY LIFE
(A bit lengthy with plenty of lessons)

Once upon a time, there was a young man who worked at a factory. His mentor, an old technician taught him to talk less, do more, and never stop developing his skills in every aspect of the factory's operation.

Ten years later, the old man retired and the young man became a technician himself. He continued to do the same work with the same dedication and diligence as he was taught.

One day, he visited his mentor.

The old man saw that he seemed unhappy and asked what was troubling him. The young man sighed and poured his heart out.

He said “I have been following your exact instruction all these years, no matter what I work on I keep quiet and focus on my job. I know I have done a good job at the factory and learned all the skills that can be learned there, what I don't understand is why the guys that have less capabilities and experience like are do are promoted while I am still making as little as I did before when I was your apprentice".

The old man asked, Are you positive that you have become indispensable to the company?

The young man nodded, Yes!

The old man paced back and forth to think. After a while, he turned to the young and said “You must request a day off using whatever excuse of your choice”.

It is time for you to give yourself a break.

The young man was surprised by this advice, but the more he thought about it, the more it made sense. He thanked his teacher and left quickly to take a time-off request.

When he returned after his day off, the manager called him into his office to tell him that things did not go well in the factory on his day off. Others encountered many problems that normally would be handled by him and they had no idea how to solve them.

Realizing his importance, the manager decided to promote him to the position of senior technician to thank him and encourage him to keep up his good work.

TOPIC: SCRIPTURAL REVELATIONS THAT POWER DIVINE HEALTH

SCRIPTURE: And I went up by revelation, Gal 2:2

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: To know the reason why you should live and walk in divine health is to live and walk in divine health.

One of the greatest assets of a child of God is access to light, insight and revelation. Just as Satan keeps people down in bo***ge by ignorance, God lift people up by revelations (Galatians 2:2). And one of such revelations that lift people up in life is the revelation of the basis for divine health.

To know the reason why you should live and walk in divine health is to live and walk in divine health.
On the Other hand, to be ignorant of your scriptural basis for living or walking in divine health is to be perpetually sick. That will not be your portion in Jesus’ Name.

Now, let me give you four Scriptural insights why you must live perpetually in Divine Health.
i. Man’s Creation in God’s Image. (Gen. 1:26)
You are created in the Image of the sickless God, so you are not permitted to be sick.
ii. God’s Provision through the Abrahamic Covenant (Gal. 3:13-18).

God’s provision for us through the Abrahamic covenant guarantees divine health.
iii. Christ’s Sacrifice and Death at Calvary (Isaiah 53:4-5)
By His stripes, we have been healed, so we cannot sick.
iv. The Saint’s Membership (or Oneness) With the Body of Christ. (1 Corinthians 6:19-20, Ephesians 4:4-6)
You are a member of the Body of Christ; and if Christ cannot be sick, you, being a member of His Body cannot be sick.
This means, whenever the devil tells you that you are not expected to be in health, let him know that God created you in His Image, and God’s Image is characterised by sicklessness, wearilessness, wholeness and vitality.
Let that devil know also that you are a child or seed of Abraham who has the Arahamic covenant packaged with divine healt

We bless the Name of the Lord for the gift of you to the Body of Christ and the world at large. We appreciate God for the encounter you had with Him in the early hours of 12th May, 1986 which brought about the rededication of your life to Christ. What looked like a little step of saying “YES” to Jesus through the Ministry of Pastor W.F. Kumuyi has led to a great revival, healing and deliverances in homes and across the nations of the earth.

We appreciate your consistency in the pursuit of the interest of God and His people. Your life has revealed the Power of God in diverse areas, we appreciate your exploits in the Kingdom of God which are evident in the eyes of everyone.

Some social rules that may help you:

1. Don’t call someone more than twice continuously. If they don’t pick up your call, presume they have something important to attend to.

2. Return money that you have borrowed even before the person that borrowed you remember or ask for it. It shows your integrity and character. Same goes with umbrellas, pens and lunch boxes.

3. Never order the expensive dish on the menu when someone is giving you a lunch/dinner.

4. Don’t ask awkward questions like ‘Oh so you aren’t married yet?’ Or ‘Don’t you have kids’ or ‘Why didn’t you buy a house?’ Or why don't you buy a car? For God’s sake it isn’t your problem.

5. Always open the door for the person coming behind you. It doesn’t matter if it is a guy or a girl, senior or junior. You don’t grow small by treating someone well in public.

6. If you take a taxi with a friend and he/she pays now, try paying next time.

7. Respect different shades of opinions. Remember what's 6 to you will appear 9 to someone facing you. Besides, second opinion is good for an alternative.

8. Never interrupt people talking. Allow them to pour it out. As they say, hear them all and filter them all.

9. If you tease someone, and they don’t seem to enjoy it, stop it and never do it again. It encourages one to do more and it shows how appreciative you're.

10. Say “thank you” when someone is helping you.

11. Praise publicly. Criticize privately.

12. There’s almost never a reason to comment on someone’s weight. Just say, “You look fantastic.” If they want to talk about losing weight, they will.

13. When someone shows you a photo on their phone, don’t swipe left or right. You never know what’s next.

You see, when we say you should forgive people, we do not mean you should become their friend. This is because friendship is not by force; it is by choice.

To forgive means to cleanse your heart from the offences. But after you have cleansed your heart from offences, face your life, and if possible, stay far from the offender to avoid further offences. Stay far away from both the offender and his offences.

Many people don’t understand how to manage this. So, they think that when we say forgive, we mean becoming friends with the offenders. No!

Don’t let spiritual pride make you overate yourself.

Why resist when the Bible says flee?
Why stay when you should run?
Samson stayed and became staled.

Emotions can overpower knowledge in the face of intense sexual temptation.
