A friend went for a job interview; 32 of them out of 34 failed at screening because they could not follow simple instructions!
The directors of the company addressed them and told them that they would be employing anyone who scored 100% in the short test they were to take. Anything less than 100% meant instant failure! They were served the question papers and told them that they had only 1 minute to answer 10 questions in all. After 1 minute, their scripts were collected and marked within 3 minutes! When the HR Manager collected their scripts, he went through all in a jiffy and announced the results. And he separated only 2 scripts and he went through them. Only those 2 passed. And while they were wondering how fast their 34 scripts were marked and the result announced within 3 minutes, the Manager shocked them announcing that there was an instruction at the top of the question that said- "Answer only number 8." Question 8 was: "WHAT IS YOUR MOTHER'S MAIDEN NAME?" So simple but they did not see it !
The two people were congratulated .

Moral lesson: Always follow instructions.
