They pack their belongings, secure their homes, and bid farewell to their friends and colleagues, eagerly anticipating the joyous reunion with their loved ones.

As the Igbo people depart from Lagos, the atmosphere in the city changes. The streets, usually teeming with activity, become eerily quiet. Shops and businesses that rely on the patronage of the Igbo community suffer a significant drop in sales.
