Yesterday Tuesday 11th July 2023 at plenary, the Bill for the amendment of the 2022 Electoral Act sponsored by Rt. Hon. Francis Ejiroghene Waive, passed first reading.

The sponsored amendments to the extant Act include the following-

1. A new subsection is added to section 10 of the Act with the aim of providing for a re-registration exercise every 10yrs in preparation for the next general elections. This exercise should not rely on existing Voters Register but aimed at creating a completely new Register

2. Under section 28 a new paragraph c was added to provide for general elections to take place on same day instead of the current practice of having the elections into the Federal offices separate from that of the State offices.

3. Section 47 was amended by inserting a new subsection 3 which makes it impossible for anyone not captured by the accreditation device to vote at the polls. That is no accreditation no voting.

4. Section 60 (5) was amended to specifically provide for electronic transmission of election results.

5. Section 130 sub section 2 was replaced with a new subsection 2 which provides for huge fines to be imposed on any petitioner who presents a frivolous petition before the Election Tribunals after elections are concluded.

It was an honor and privilege to commission the multi-million naira building complex of United Multi-purpose Cooperative Society Ltd 14th February 2023.
Situated along the road leading to the Train Station in Ujevwu the facility has a huge Event Hall, Conference Centre, Hotel accommodation, stores for farm inputs etc

He congratulate and celebrate with Rt Rev fr Anihony Ovayero Ewherido, professor of biblical theology and language and also the Rector of Ss peter and Paul Seminary Bodija,Ibadan. On his appointment as new Bishop of Catholic Diocese of warri. With this development He can't but recall the last mass he served at Sacred Heart Cathedral which was the last for the late Bishop Lucas Nwanzepu and the events that followed. Today indeed is historic. He wished Bishop Elect, Monsignor Ewherido Gods Divine blessing's in this new and high ecclesiastical responsibility.

Hon Ambrose Germany represented Rt Hon.Revd Francis E Waive in an Occasion.

Yesterday Hon Ambrose Germany had the privilege again for the second time to represent our exceptional Rt. Hon. Revd Francis E Waive at the 9th edition of Ewu Prayer and Thanksgiving Day.

He was well received by the people and all the Ministers, the chairman planning committee of the prayer conference openly thanked Hon Francis Ejiroghene Waive for his continuous support of the program in the past four years.

Hon Ambrose Germany spoke on behalf of Hon Waive, He appreciated the people for their continuous prayers for him and their votes in 2019. He highlighted some of the projects of Hon Waive to which the people attested and He unashamedly asked for their votes in 2023.
