THE 3 TYPES OF PEOPLE IN YOUR LIFE.. โœ๏ธ๐Ÿ˜ƒ

1. The Leaf people
2. The Branch people
3. The Root people

LEAF PEOPLE:
These are people who come into your life just for a season. You can't depend on them because they are weak. They only come to take what they want, but if the wind comes they will leave.
You need to be careful of these people because they love you when things are okay, but when the wind comes they will leave you ๐Ÿฅบ

BRANCH PEOPLE:
They are strong, but you need to be careful with them too. They break away when life becomes tough and they can't handle too much weight. They may stay with you in some seasons, but they will go when it becomes harder ๐Ÿ˜ข

ROOT PEOPLE: These people are very important because they don't do things to be seen. They are supportive even if you go through a difficult time they will water you and they are not moved by your position they just love you like that ...

It's not all people you meet or are your friends, that will stay with you.
Only the root type of people will stay no matter the season ๐Ÿ‘โ˜บ๏ธ

DID YOU KNOW?

๐ŸŸ  Nigeria has had 13 House of Representatives Speakers since 1960

๐ŸŸค The North-West geopolitical zone has produced 4 Speakers since 1960; the highest by any geo-political zone.

๐ŸŸ  The South-East and South-West zones are the only other geopolitical zones that have produced at least 3 Speakers since 1960

๐ŸŸคThe South-South geopolitical zone (as it is known today) is the only zone that has never produced a Speaker since independence.

๐ŸŸ  Bauchi, Anambra and Kano (as they are known today) are the only states that have produced a Speaker at least twice; since independence.

๐ŸŸค The South-West geopolitical zone has produced 3 House of Representatives Speakers since independence.

๐ŸŸ Ibrahim Jalo Waziri is the first indigenous Speaker of the House of Representatives and the first to be elected twice.

๐ŸŸค Waziri is also the first-ever Nigerian to have held the position of Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives and elected Speaker afterwards.

๐ŸŸ  Waziri is also the country's longest serving Speaker of the house of House of Representatives since independence; and his term in the office totalling 6 consecutive years.

๐ŸŸค Salisu Buhari's term as Speaker is the shortest in the country's history, spanning just 6 weeks before he resigned from office.

๐ŸŸ  Edwin Ume-Ezeoke is the Nigeria's first Speaker of the House of Representatives under the American-styled presidential system of government.

๐ŸŸค Ume-Ezeoke's term was the first that the head of chamber of the National Assembly would emerge from a political party that did not win majority of seats in the parliament.

๐ŸŸค Patricia Etteh is Nigeria's first and only female Speaker of the House of Representatives.

๐ŸŸ  Dimeji Bankole is the youngest Speaker in the history of the House of Representatives, elected at the age of 37.

๐ŸŸค Salisu Buhari is the first Speaker of the House of Representatives to resign from office before the completion of his term.

A GREAT HISTORY HAS MADE IN NORTH NIGERIA ๐Ÿ‡ณ๐Ÿ‡ฌ.
WHILE MANY YOUTHS WERE ENGAGING IN POLITICS OF CALUMNY, HE WAS PLANNING FOR HIS FUTURE

"Lawan Musa, a 35-year-old candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party has unseated the Speaker Yobe State House of Assembly, Honourable Ahmed Lawan Mirwa of the All Progressives Congress (APC) at the just concluded 2023 State House of Assembly election in Yobe state.

The Returning Officer, Dr. Habib Muhammad, who announced the result at Nguru on Saturday said, Lawan Musa of the PDP scored 6,648 votes to defeat the sitting Speaker of the House of Assembly, Ahmed Lawan Mirwa of APC who scored 6,466 votes.

Channels Television learnt that the Speaker Mirwa who represents Nguru II constituency has been in the State House of Assembly for about two decades.

If Mirwa had won, this would have been his sixth term in office, however, that dream has now been stopped by the 35-year-old Lawan Musa."

Another source (Ibrahim Bature) has it that, "The Honorable Speaker arrested Lawal for his Facebook post, and when the boy regained his freedom, he decided to engage the Honorable at the polls. People were laughing at him and discouraging him, but he kept pushing.

Congratulations, I wish you Allah's guidance in discharging your responsibility. Be a good ambassador of the young people."

(Those who were insulting for their masters, how many of them will be remembered by the masters?).

1- Avoid Giving your child everything he asks for. He will grow up believing that he has the right to get everything he wants.

2-Avoid laughing when your child speaks insulting words. He will grow up thinking that disrespect is entertainment.

3-Avoid remaining insensitive to bad behavior that he can display without scolding him for his bad behavior. He will grow up thinking that there are no rules in society.

4- Avoid picking up anything that your child messes up. He will grow up believing that others must take responsibility for his responsibilities.

5- Avoid letting him watch any program on TV. He will grow up thinking that there is no difference between being a child and being an adult.

6- Avoid giving your child all the money he asks for. He will grow up thinking that getting money is easy and will not hesitate to steal for it.

7- Always avoid putting yourself on his side when he is wrong against the neighbors, his teachers, the police. He will grow up thinking that everything he does is right, it is the others who are wrong.

8- Avoid leaving him alone at home when you go to the place of worship, otherwise he will grow up thinking that God does not exist.

May our labour over our children not be in vain.

"WHEN A LIZARD LOSES ITS TAIL, IT GROWS ANOTHER ONE...."

Advice!!!

Nigerian Proverb.

Meaning:

Life will go on without you - you are not indispensable.

Nature does not allow a vacuum - you leave, you are replaced, and you will be forgotten.

Lesson:

Be humble when you are in charge with the power or position you hold.

Do not confuse the power of your office with who you really are.

You will be replaced - by time, by God or by other means.

Your time will be up one day, and the Lizard will carry on and grow another tail!

Be humble.

HOW TO RESPECT YOURSELF

(1) Stop looking for who is not looking for you.

(2) Stop begging.

(3) Stop saying more than is necessary.

(4) When people disrespect you, confront them immediately.

(5) Don't eat other people's food more than they eat yours.

(6) Reduce how you visit some people, especially if they don't reciprocate it.

(7) Invest in yourself. Make yourself happy.

(8) Stop entertaining gossip about other people.

(9) Think before you talk. 80% of how people value you is what comes out of your mouth.

(10) Always look your best. Dress the way you should be addressed.

(11) Be an achiever. Get busy with your goals.

(12) Respect your time.

(13) Don't stay in a relationship where you don't feel respected and valued. Walk away.

(14) Learn to spend money on yourself. That's how people will learn to spend on you.

(15) Be scarce sometimes.

(16) Be a giver more than a receiver.

(17) Don't go where you are not invited. And when invited don't overstay your welcome.

(18) Treat people exactly the way they deserve.

(19) Except they owe you money, two call attempts is enough. If they value you they will call you back.

(20) Be good at what you do. Be the best.

โ€œSE MBA A OR U VAAN CI WASE GAโ€

He is 100 years and seven months old today. Hon. David Mtuem was elected House of Assembly member in the defunct Gongola state in 1979 and reelected in 1983, before military boys seized power. When we met, the centenarian, still sound and agile, gave me a complementary copy of his newly written book: โ€˜Mnyer u Tiv man Jukun ken Nigeria.โ€™

Mtuemโ€™s book is an expository prologue on the evolutions of Tiv and Jukun ethnic groups and their immigration into Nigeriaโ€™s middle belt region. The book answers the question: โ€˜Er nan se zuan ga?โ€™ (Why are Jukun and Tiv not cohabiting peacefully?). The book says Jukun came from Yemen, Egypt, while Tiv who are from the Bantu family, came from Congo, through the Binda mountains of Cameroon. Mtuem is a reservoir of Tiv anthropology. I picked his brain this morning on many issues affecting Tiv nation and what must be done. The old man said: โ€œSe mba a tom u eren kpishi; Gambe pav, imon nyรดr; Mzough ngu ga man dooshima ban hen atรด wase; Se mba teman zwa ving ga; Se mba a or u vaan ci wase ga.โ€

Born in 1922 in Wukari, Mtuem witnessed how Makir Dzakpe was crowned the first Tor Tiv, instead of Gondo Aluor who was earlier nominated. When a young man summoned courage to question the kingmakers, Agbo Kpile responded: โ€œZwa kaa kwagh mรดn ga; Ka zwa u nyen u kaa er Gondo alu se tor la shi u kaa er ka Makir ye.โ€

Mtuem told me that, at 100, heโ€™ll soon die, so he has summarised what he witnessed and what he was told by our ancestors in a book for Tiv offsprings who want to know about their past, to read and understand where they are today, so they can figure where theyโ€™re going. Jhumpa Lahiri says books let you travel miles without moving your feet. Thanks to Hon. Mtuem whose book has made me traveled with my ancestors, walked on a snake across a river, meandered through mountains to the Benue trough.
